Wales-Linfield Wedding.

In this most glorious day our greatest and most powerful ruler ever. Linfield Hannon has found the woman he is to marry. Jenevee Wales. These two are possibly the most powerful union in our great and illustrious history.

The entire town of Bollon Kay had been outfitted to provide for a great wedding. Over a thousand bagpipers had been called forth for the celebration.

The Hannon Banner (two great horns and a sword set unto a green and gold background) had been raised like a great and powerful beast above each building. The Hannon Banner was joined with that of the Wales family. The McBoir Standard flew a foot lower (A huge Aurochs standing atop a beehive on a black background).

Linfield stood nervously as his many friends helped get him into wedding regala. His kilt slapped against his knee whilst his companions wound an entangled knot of white cloth around him until no semblance of bare flesh was left.

OOC: Hawdawg RP how Jenevee is getting ready for the wedding.

Jenevee stood on the pedestal as the handmaids tighten the corsett. The dress was simply stunning. Over 1000 pearls adorned the full length wedding dress made from the finest silk purchased in the orient. The Wales family had spared no expense since this was the only daughter they had and lavishly they did spend. The dress alone was over 125,000 torroes. Josey Wales stood in the background admiring the absolute beauty of his daughter. In a short time she would no longer be his little "carrot top". A tear could be spotted running down his face, a tear of joy for his beloved child.

A man walks toward Linfield. He is tall and and broad across the shoulders. The man looked feral and had an air of great terror about him.

"Linfield, you're getting married are you? I already know you don't deserve her." The strang man beast says.

"You speak to well of me Garfunk. She is like the greatest storm and the most ferocious day that you have ever known embodied in a golden woman." Linfield was slowly looking further and further into space.

"My brother" Garfunk said laughing "You are forever the reason I believe we are not all doomed!"

"I thought you yourself had found love?" Linfield said questioningly.

"Well you know Serafimian women."

"A bit to well." Linfield chuckled remembering bygone days.

"Aye."

"Aye."

"Father why do you cry?" asks Jenevee. Josey responds, "simple tears of joy my lovely carrot top." "Daddy, please don't call me that, I am a full grown woman now." she retorts. "Aye, you are. I just wish your mother was able to be here to see this." says Mr. Wales as he hangs his head. "Daddy, you know the mental hospital said we could bring her if we fed her 10mL of Xanax every four hours." as she turns to face him on the pedestal. "I know honey, I just try and remember how she was before the malaria set in. It was all so...different. Well anyway," as he wipes his eyes, " you are what is important today." he says.

"My daughter I need to remind you that you are not only taking a husband today but you are assuming a duty also. You must adhere to the policies of this great nation and model the respect and dignity expected of a queen. You will have many stately duties that are expected of you, and you must understand your future husband is a busy man. Men in power often have to sacrifice home life for the call of duty. You understand this, as you dealt with it in our household. Above all child, respect and honor your Linfield it is in the both of you that the light of this nation will shine." as Mr. Wales pauses.

"I will do my very best not to disappoint these people or my husband and especially you my father." she says as she steps down from the podium.

"I love you Jenevee" says Mr. Wales "And I love you daddy" says Jenevee.

As the two get ready for the anticipated wedding march of the bagpipes and the long slow trek down the isle.......

While Jenevee approached them Garfunk whispered into Linfield's ear.

"Remember now. She'll be your wife and you have to take extra time for her. If you don't I'll maul you to death. Don't disappoint her and hold up your ancient mantle with pride. A tired arm means a weak man!" Garfunk's voice rose slighlty.

"Stop quoting father or I'll maul you to death." Linfield said while cracking his neck.

"Is that Michael on the pipes?" Garfunk asked.

"Aye. He learned to play while you were galavanting round the world."

"You sent me to that conference."

"So?"

At the end of the great hall a spiral of Vines and Magnolia blooms made a splendid arch in which the priest and the confident Linfield stood under to recieve Jenevee. As Jenevee and he father reached the end of the long isle the Priest asked, "who gives this girl away?" Josey Wales proudly states, "I do."

The ceremony seems like it will never end the Priest seems to be taking forever. As Jenevee awaits the expected kiss she can't help but wonder is this a dream?

"........I do.." as she is gently poked by Linfield to answer the most important question of the day.

I can't believe I almost forgot what to say she thinks to herself. It must be the nerves or it could be the huge crowd that has gathered for this event that has her nervous.

Finally that moment came and Jenevee's vail was lifted by Linfield. She wasted no time in dazzling him with another kiss for the ages................

A man wearing a brown robe embroidered with a red sickle and hammer about his body and a dusty turban with the green crescent moon rises from his seat and joins the rest of the crowd clapping after the kiss. He chuckles to himself and quietly leaves the room to receive a call that will be of great importance soon enough. As he moves to the doorway, a silver glint in the pocket of his robe is evident.

Grand Duke Gwalcmai rose and applauded the new couple. Sir Caedmon Bedwyr, his chief of security, rose with him, keeping an eye out. "Bravo!" he cried absently. He ment it, but his mind was on other things, besides, he detested formal ceremony.

OOC: if you did an invitation thread I'm sorry that I missed it, but as your ally, I figure I would be there.

Linfield almost staggered under the kiss. He then pulled back and raised both hands in the air. With a battlecry that could freeze the hearts of men he lifted his new bride above his head. He then realized what he was doing and put her down. Garfunk leaned in and asked her "How did you like the Awling?"

Linfield whirled at this statement and hit his own brother as hard as he could. Garfunk fell from the blow and looked up his hackles rising. Linfield screamed "No wife of mine will undergo Awling! It's an evil tradition that hasn't been practiced for hundreds of years."

Garfunk rose quickly to his feet and said "You may not like the tradition but a few clans still practice it. The Likarneys for example!"

"We're at war with the Likarneys!"

"Oh."

OOC: All are welcome.

"Garfunk since I have only just met you, I will excuse you for suggesting the awling" says Jenevee. Besides she thinks to herself, I could kill him with my thumb sixteen different ways.

The day seems like a dream it all moved by so fast. It doesn't matter though the important thing is Jenevee is now in the arms of Linfield. Together as one.

Once the coming together thing is over Linfield nods his head to the assorted masses letting them party. He turns and whispers into Jenevee's ear "You know what an awling is right?"

"No not really Linfield, but judging by the response you gave Garfunk I figured it was pretty bad. My guess is something that involves me as the prize, am I right?" she says as she anticipates an answer.

"Yes. Yes it does and an army and several awls and a fox. Hasn't been used for hundreds of years. Except by the Likarneys."

"Linfield did you notice the man in the dirty turban? He sure looked out of place, almost creepy. I asked one of my Guards to check him out, but he must have slipped out because they couldn't find him."

Jenevee leaned over to Linfield and said, "I can't wait till this parties over, I have something to show you."

Duke Gwalcmai now approached the wedding party and bowed low. "My Lord Hannon, I offer my congratulations and those of my nation. My brother Gwalcavad sends his congratulations and he regret that he was detained from being here." He turned to Jenevee and kissed her hand. He turned to Bedwyr, who stood close behind him and murmered, "Mael gwyn..." Bedwyr smiled and nodded agreement before bowing to the couple. "M'lord, M'lady."
Gwalcmai then explained, "This is Caedmon Bedwyr. I don't think you've met. He is my chief of special operations as well as my own bodyguard when I am abroad."

"It is a pleasure to meet you Honorable Duke Gwalcmai" says Jenevee. "Good day Mr. Bedwyr" she says as she offers a ceremonial bow to the gentlemen from Yr Widdfa.

Linfield got on topof a table and yelled. "This party is over. Well y'all can keep going but my wife and I will retire for the evening." Several guardsmen snickered at the announcement. "I rather like the sound of that. My wife and I." He mumbled to himself.

He slipped back into the bed and got closer to his wife...

Afterwards...

"So you just want to lay here or go somewhere. We can go to your homeland for the honeymoon if ye'd like." Linfield was sweating and rather exhausted but in good humor (he should be or he's rather stupid).

OOC: DO you want to RP the stuff now?

Linfield couldn't fall asleep. He just kept going over how they'd met in his head. Unpractical but rather nice now that he'd actually married her. He smiled and snuggled (I couldna' think of a better word) closer to his wife.

OOC: Let's let it rest a day or two and start another thread. We pretty much have milked the wedding dry. I won't be available this weekend as hunting season has started. Maybe start it back up on Monday?

As the sun rose over the hills, Jenevee awoke to the sound of birds chirping on the ledge. "I still feel like this is all a dream." she said to herself as she slipped on some clothes.

She could smell breakfast cooking and where ever that soon to be eaten meal was she would find Linfield. Striding into the kitchen, Jenevee saw Linfield preparing a lovely meal for them to consume. He had truely outdone himself with eggs, sausage, ham and the likes spread out all over the preparation area.

"Linfield, where will our tour take us first?" she asked. In the back of her mind she hoped he would take her to the mountains first. The crisp fall days always made her feel alive.
