OOC:

Secret IC, only Coreworlds and I allowed to post, thanks.

IC:

It was dark and cold near the meeting place somewhere in the mountains of Anagonia. They had specifically set a destination for him to come to. The cold, brisk air came past his face in the open Jeep that he rode in. It was a smooth ride, and his face was somewhat numb, but he loved it.

A few minutes later the vehicle had arrived, and Drakomis N. Reign stepped out onto the level expanse, the tall grass waving gently in the light winds. His breath came as a mist as he breathed out, he waited for them to arrive.

It was a meteor shower tonight, and a small A-wing fighter took advantage of the falling rocks and 'burnt up' along with them. The fighter swooped down, barely seen by anyone due to it's meteor look and aimed for the mountains of Anagonia. The pilot knew where the rendzevous would be, and passed through the mountains to land in a clearing several hundred meters from the jeep.

Jedi Apprentice Tyler Sethra of Commenor was a 17-year-old youth, with dirty-blond hair and bright blue eyes. He was sent to the rendzevous as a part of his training, especially in espionage and stealth. The youth tracked the contact he was supposed to meet, and with his tunic shirt covering his lightsaber, he looked like any other ordinary kid hiking in the mountains.

He slid behind the contact, using the Force to keep himself as stealthy as possible. "Hello."

The meteor shower was a beautiful sight, at least to Drakomis. Soon they too would be able to reach out there, be able to explore. However, right now he enjoyed the Earthly values of space, especially the sight of thousands upon thousands of space rocks colliding with the atmosphere to make the meteor shower possible.

Soon Drakomis sighed, having been waiting for some time for this delegate of sorts to arrive. The cold was getting to him, so he just sat back into the drivers seat of the old jeep. It was then that he heard a ruffle in the tall grass beind him, and with caution all his motions stopped as he listened. Knowing it could be the person whom was told to arrive, he calmed himself and stopped his reach for his 9-mm.

"Hello, are you the one I am waiting for," he asked with caution.

"Perhaps." The young man said. "The question could be said of you, as well."

Drakomis stood up, looked at the night sky as a few more meteor's made the scene somewhat calming. He looked down at the star-lit ground, then at the mountains beyound. Taking one last look at the Milkey-Way, in all its amazing brightness so unshielded by any lights, he turned and walked around his jeep to the passenger side, near the place where the voice came from.

"I believe your government has sent you here to meet with the leader of Anagonia," he started, "I am that leader, my name is Drakomis Nokomis Reign, or just Drakomis for short. Our Nation is interested in an Alliance, I believe, and I speak for our newly fromed Space Command when I say we are highly interested in having an ally-" he looked up briefly -"up there."

Tyler sensed no malice from the contact, and sensed that it was the truth. He stepped out into the bright lights of the meteor shower. The young man is rather short for his age often to the jokes of his friends, but his eyes told a different story, one of blood and warfare. The eyes that have seen friends blown apart, and have seen many enemies slain with his blade.

Tyler lowered his cloak-hood. "I am Tyler Sethra. I do believe we can help each other achieve what must be done."

(OOC: Get on AIM! lol)

Drakomis gave an approving nod, but stopped as a flash from a meteor vaporizing exposed his eyes. In that split-second, Drakomis saw an equal, and stood firm as such.

"Good, I am glad that the CoreWorld Government has sent you. Now, what shall be our first order of business?"
CoreWorlds
09-11-2004, 22:06
"Hmm." Tyler thought for a minute. "Our first order of business would be to give you the technology you need to be able to stand up on your feet in the galaxy."
Anagonia
09-11-2004, 22:18
"Excellent," Drakomis responded, "what kind of technologies should we be capable of using?"

Suddenly, he thought for a moment, stopping all movement. "We do have laser technology in our grasp, and somewhat shielding technology. I hope thats enough."
CoreWorlds
09-11-2004, 22:26
"Certainly." Tyler nodded. "Our government has allowed for you to get a little present."

09-11-2004, 22:36
Tyler chuckled. "Nothing like that. Just an old ship, still working, that we don't really require anymore."
Anagonia
09-11-2004, 22:40
A shine in Drakomis's eyes lit, "Indeed! Well, thats fantastic. Good, we need a basis for some new ships here and there."

He sighed once more, the cold, crisp air creating a mist once more of his exhale. He looked up at the Milky Way, a sense of Adventure flowed through him, then he slowly looked back to the young jedi.

"Good, good. We have an Underground Ship-Yard where we could construct smaller space-faring ships and place some of our experimental Anti-Gravity drives in them. For those bigger ones, which I believe this gift may be, we inface have an orbital shipyard."

He couldn't get a smile off his face, three meteor's seemed to impact each other and create an excellent glow for the darkness.

09-11-2004, 22:43
"I do think it would be small enough for your purposes." Tyler said. "The ship is 120 meters."
Anagonia
09-11-2004, 22:48
Drakomis nodded, "Good, about the size of a sea-worthy destroyer, if I am not correct. Should fit nicely within the undergorund facility." He looked around, then back at the young delegate. "In fact," he smiled, "the facility should be around here somewhere. Niftey, eh?"
CoreWorlds
09-11-2004, 22:53
"Convenient, too." Tyler smiled. "Shall I call for the Little Devil, now?"
Anagonia
09-11-2004, 22:56
"Little Devil?, we could change the name of the ship, correct?" He waited for a moment, "Yes, please call for the ship if you can."
CoreWorlds
09-11-2004, 23:01
Tyler whipped out a comlink. "Little Devil, come on down."

"Noted, Tyler." A friend's voice crackled. Soon, a ship zoomed down from orbit. It is indeed, the size of a sea destroyer, one of the smallest hyperdrive-capable capital ships in the Rebel fleet.

Drakomis just wanted to stand there in awe at the ship, but he knew that, although he had more time than usual, now wouldn't be the "time" to waste such. So, he nodded a very big nod of approval, and grasped his radio and pressed the transmit button.

"We have an unexpected arrival, Alpha Base, please open your doors for the baby to come home."

With a big grin, he put the radio back into a holster on his belt. Looking back at the jedi as the ground started to rumble beneath the two. Suddenly, two massive doors in an area below opened its gaping mouth, sure to consume the new wonderous ship that was waiting above.

"Almost forgot about one thing," he said, "what about an Alliance?"
CoreWorlds
09-11-2004, 23:24
The gunship turned on it's repulsarlift engines and lowered itself gracefully into the shipyard, extending it's landing gear as it descended into the cave.

Tyler watched it as he heard the question. "Just as there are nations like us who are willing to help smaller nations out, there are those who will stop at nothing to crush the weak and innocent."

He turned to face Drakomis. "One such enemy is known as the Sith. For a long time, we have fought them, but at the cost of lives...too many to count. Their leader, Palpatine, is a powerful and dangerous Dark Lord. Sometimes I wonder why we approached you, knowing that they will target you once they get wind of your existence."
Anagonia
09-11-2004, 23:41
Drakomis looked at the young delegate, a cold stare that seemed to penetrate even the most hardened mind. No expression whatsoever formed, just a stare that could break enternity if it tried.

"We are not people whom give in to tyrannical evil easily. Many have died for our freedom, and many more will likely die as well. No one will enslave us without the cost of their numbers." He looked to the closing hangers, and calmed himself, looking back at the young jedi. "Tyler, for your people to see, we have developed weapons to protect us. Shall we satisfy your concern by exposing what we have to you?"

Drakomis's hand waved toward the jeep for him to get in. Obviously there would be a ride ahead.
CoreWorlds

"Very well." He stepped inside the Jeep, and sat down.
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 00:29
Drakomis walked to the driver side, and sat down. Turning the key to the jeeps ignition, it rumbled to life, and he twisted the wheel just so and pressed the pedal down somewhat.

They were off.

It took only about fifteen minutes, or so. Just about where the "gift" landed, a road-way came from the ground, as if a tunnel, and Drakomis drove inside. This road led to some curves here and there, and finally to a gate. The gatesman, seeing that it was Drakomis, allowed him to pass instantly.

A few turns later, they came into a large bay. In this bay, many engineers were seen walking about. As the jeep came to a halt, and Drakomis turned the ignition off, he signaled for Tyler with a wave of his hand.

"Come, let me show you something."
CoreWorlds

Tyler walked out of the jeep, his youthful curiosity getting the best of him.
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 00:46
Many engineers turned to look at the two, many others nodded towards Drakomis and his guest, but all went back to work as he led Tyler towards what seemed to be a massive telescope, the end pointed toward what seemed to be a thick plate of metal. With a grin, he turned around and looked at Tyler.

"My friend, look closely here. This will be the gun emplacements on your new ship-" someone was writing what he said down, obviously making sure that his previously unheard order was ensured "-and it has enough power to blast through even the thickest hybrid titanium!"

He nodded towards a engineer, whom then handed them both some goggles and pressed a button as they had put them on. (Gonna rp that your char did put it on to allow you to make a long post, lol) Suddenly particles in the air seemed to become apparent near the exit of the cannon, and with a closer look it could be observed that heat-waves were forming. Engineers had evacuated the target area and had instictively put on goggles of their own.

In an instant a bright flash of light lit the room, and a huge beam of orangish-red light flew toward the massive metal wall. It literally seemed to explode as the ground shook violently, but somehow the flying debries were contained within the area.

Drakomis looked back to Tyler with a huge grin as the dust setteled in the area. "This is the Electro-Magnetic Microwave Projection Cannon. What you saw was a highly intensified beam of microwaves, with a bunch of protons added to increase the explosion tendency."
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 00:49
"Powerful." Tyler commented. "It's almost like a turbolaser...but orange."
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 00:52
He looked at Tyler with a confused expression. "Turbo-Laser," he asked slowly, "Don't know what that is, but I can show you something much stronger."
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 00:55
"Turbolasers are our main shipbased weapons. You can see the thick twin-barrels on the gunship, right? Those are light turbolasers." Tyler explained. "The laser cannons have thinner barrels."

"Basically, it's a green or red bolt of energy that transfers energy into the target, causing it to melt anything but the most dense armor."

"Huh," started Drakomis, "would'of never thought our first weapon could be compared to such an advanced civilizations weapons." He smiled at his comment. "Well, I stood up to my promise of protection, no?"

He laughed for a bit, then looked at the engineers, thanked them, and went on. "This way," he said, walking down a long hall. "We have to keep this weapon seperate from the main compound, its strong."

Before long they had entered a huge room, bigger than the last, and as two guards immedietly came, say it was their Leader, and went back to their posts, all of the engineers seemed to ignore the two entering and concentrate on a huge one-barreled turrent system just placed what seemed to be many yards away.

Pointing towards the turret, Drakomis said, "That, my good friend, is the Fusion Cannon. Indeed we developed something before this, the Ion Cannon, but this MUST be the greatest weapon we have produced YET." He sighed, "However, it lacks a platform." Waving towards the two guards, he signaled Tyler to go back towards the entrence.

Lights flashed as both Tyler and Drakomis stood there, beside the two entrence guards, as a calming hum surrounded them. Looking towards the other engineers, they had all gone to a safety room about a some yards to the side of the cannon, and a blue-staticy shield surrounded them.

It seemed to be a scene from a science fiction movie.

Drakomis signaled for Tyler to put on his goggles, he doing the same. "Now, watch carefully. That space-rock there was captured by our first exploration into space, near earth it was. Its made of an unknown type of metal, and so far nothing has been able to penetrate it." Two thick walls of Titanium rose from beneath. "Those," began Drakomis, "will be there just in case the meteor doesn't blow up." He looked towards Tyler with a grin, "Here, we like explosions."
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 01:14
Tyler pulled down his goggles. "Right. Let's see how this does."
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 01:25
He nodded towards a guard, whom radioed something quickly, and the after-affects of such quickly felt, literally, as the ground begand to rumble. Looking towards the gun one could see it heating up, the metal literally burning red with glow. A bright light could be seen at the end, highly blueish in color, and a silver twirl of particles seemed to be forming around the exit of the cannon.

A few moments later, the gun seeming to melt as it suddenly burst into an extreme blue flame, a beam of extra-hot fusion instaly burst towards the two walls and asteroid.

It literally seemed like slow motion, the silver twirl of some kind of particle twisted around the beam itself to the tip, and what seemed like an area of concussion flowed with the beam as the concrete beneath seemed to dissolve and fly into a trillion pieces where the concussion area touched it.

Then the feeling of time slowing vanished, two huge explosions rocked the entire base, warning sounds flashed as a never-before felt BOOM occured and the ceiling near the asteroid literally dissappeared.

Drakomis took off his goggles a few seconds later, jaw agap as he surveyed the scene. The hum from the unknown shield vanished, and the engineers afar came from the bunker with the same expression. Silverish particles seemed to float in the air, harmless as they were they couldn't hide one critical fact.

The asteroid was gone, and a somewhat larger hole about the size of it was in the ceiling, as with a massive impact, two to be exact, in the wall behind were the asteroid would have been. The titanium plates themselves vanished, literally.

"Um," Drakomis started to comment, eyes wide, as the warning sirens quit, "it seems our little asteroid friend decided to go back home..."
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 01:34
"Interesting." Tyler said. "As for the weapon, it is quite powerful."

Like one of those particle cannons I've read about...
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 01:43
"First time, and we lost an asteroid. Not bad..." He nodded to himself, then looked at the cannon. It was melted "Oook, now, lets go THIS way before the engineers find out who called the first shot....."

A few minutes later they were back in the main room, then turned right and a few ways down came to another hallway. Down some more ways and they came to another area, a door opened, and they went in.

"This is the R-n-D area of the base, where we test and develop new theories for use. So far, none have been thrown out....as of yet." Drakomis pointed to a large, generator-like machine that seemed to be floating in the air. "That," he started, "is a simple Anti-Gravity generator. I'm sure you have something more advanced, if not similar."
He took a breath, "It uses an intense Electro-Magnetic Field, super-charged with neutrons, to create somewhat of a resistance to any solid surface. While this field cannot crush anything beneath it, it does well by keeping many things out. It creates a 180 degree hemisphere of influence that can be projected any which way. Observe."

An engineer next to them nodded, and pressed a few buttons on a console. Walls came up and were gently moved back to falling as an invisible force knocked them over.

"Now, on to the shield."
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 01:49
"Ok." Tyler said. They'll be able to reverse-engineer the repulserlifts in no time...
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 02:03
Drakomis stopped, "before we continue I have a question to ask." Seeing that he had the young jedi's attention, Drakomis resumed. "As you have seen our potential for developing systems," he started to ask, "would there, by any chance, be a need by Core-Worlds for us to...shall we say....develop anything?." He gave a smile, "Think about this as we look at the shield, ok?"

They walked a few feet over, stopping as Drakomis looked toward a generator at the near-end of the room. He nodded toward a near-by engineer, whom then pressed a button as the same bluish-staticy shield seen before came to life. Surrounding the generator.

"This is our shield," Drakomis explained, "its called the EMSGS, or Electro-Magnetic Shield Generation System. It uses highly Super-Conductive Electrons, with a good touch of Super-Productive Protons, for its main shiel-"

Before he could finish, a huge explosion occured as something slammed through the ceiling and seemingly hit the shield. Once again the complex shook, twice when another explosion occured seemingly at the wall nearby, but when the dust setteled, and all engineers account for quickly enough, Drakomis looked at the Shield Generator. Glad to see it was still intact, he looked at the wall to find the same asteroid previously lost now happened to be well implanted in the wall itself.

"Well," Drakomis started again, trying to make this something of an explanation once more, "as you can obviously see, the Electrons and Protons don't like each other, hence as the Electrons are naturally producted by the EM Generator, the Protons are produced by a highly modified Hydrogen Fuel-Cell engine and used as the outer layer, or generated on the outside of the Electron Field. Then when," he motioned toward the asteroid still somewhat shocked, "something like that hits it, it gets knocked off and anything within the field is protected."

Drakomis Sighed, "two ceiling repairs, regular wall repairs...Oi...well, at least everything works." He laughed a bit to himself.

"Very useful items. I can see you are going to do just fine should the Sith attack." Tyler said. "As for needing anything, I suppose we could mount those Fusion Cannons somewhere, if the Council sees the need for it."
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 02:31
"Good, good! I would show you some laser tanks, and other devices that might interest you, but time is short." He smiled, "Come, let us go to the surface to discuss further National/Inter-Galactic Terms of Alliance."

He led to the jeep, a ten minute walk, and started it up. The old jeep came to life, the wheel turned and then it was off towards the surface. Surface entrence opening they exited to the top-soil, the cold night was as usual, and the meteor shower had all but stopped. Drakomis stopped the jeep, sighed as the cold misted his exhale, and looked towards Tyler.

"I do hope that we may discuss terms of an Alliance, correct?"

Some ways away, ruffles in the ground were heard, no longer the tall grass of the up-hills, just desert-like soil of the low-lands.

He looked up from a pad he had been typing in after the Young Jedi had finished speaking. "Good, good, just what I needed." He put the pad away quickly, clearing his throat. "ANYWHO, is it possible for Anagonia to assist you in any way beside in technology?"

"How many refugees can you handle, and how used are your people to nonhuman faces?" Tyler asked. "Because a lot of refugees may be nonhuman."

Drakomis though for a moment, a lone meteor streamed down over the horizion, seemed to curve somewhat as it left sight. He didn't take careful not of that, however, it was something that had happened, nothing more. Exhaling a sigh, the crisp, cold air gathering in mist, he looked to the M-16 sitting in-between the seats. Somehow he felt like noticing that, his favorite weapon. But he ignored it for now, and looked to the Young Jedi.

"Yes," he answered, "of course. But, you must have a force of your own present to comphensate for the refugees. It would have to be both of us working as one with them. Is this ok?"
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 03:24
"That can be arranged." Tyler said. His eyes glanced at a shadow, but he dismissed it, though there's something about it...

Knowing far too well that no guard was around, and that no one was suppose to be around here with the tight perimeter set up. Drakomis let his instints take over, forcing his body to roll out of the drivers side of the jeep with his M-16/M203 in tight grasp. He twirled on the ground once, stood prone instantly, and aimed at the shadow and fired a burst of three shots, switching to single-shot, then fired again.

Drakomis heard the lightsabre of his ally ignite, and not knowing what it was turned to see. But, thats all it took. As he looked back the figure had suddenly run up to him, reached out its hand as if to punch him, then dropped four bullets from his hand. A huff, an angry snarl, and Drakomis was flung some ways away from the scene, as if an unknown force had hit him, and hit the ground hard.....

"Wha-...what the hell....," Drakomis said, startled. He got back up, but only in time to have someone trip him. He looked up to see a cloaked figure, and with a snarl it aimed its hand at him, forced him across the ground in a slide, then did what seemed to be a flip onto his chest, hard.

A lightsabre erupted from the one attacking him, just about to impale Drakomis, the sabre coming down and Drakomis closing his eyes and preparing for his death....then.....a loud OOFF! made Drakomis open his eyes. The one assaulting him had vanished, completely. Standing quickly, and seeing that somehow his M-16 had been slashed in half, he looked to see a cloud of smoke erupt from afar.

"What the hell is goin on her-" before he could continue he was knocked sideways, twisting many times as something unseen past him towards what he could tell was Tyler, then he hit the ground again.

"Oi..," he commented

The Dark Jedi came at Tyler, and their blades clashed. The boy was trained by one of the best, but this guy was powerful! Blades hummed and crackled with energy as the two Jedi fought for their lives, one light and one dark. They whirled, and struck, parried and dodged, neither one of them willing to back down...

10-11-2004, 19:21
Drakomis huffed the soil, loose dirt from the sun-dried away, away from his face as began to stand. With determination, and anger, he grabbed his 9-mm and aimed at the dark-cloaked figure. Upon seeing his new ally clashing in a battle with the in-human beast, he growled loudly to himself in dissappointment. For now, this would have to be between the two....unless...

He ran back to the jeep, hoping to find something that he usually brought with him.

The Dark Jedi began to strike an offensive upon Tyler, sensing the boy stagger on his onslaught. He pushed upon the young Jedi, preparing to force an opening that will end it once and for all.

Tyler was barely holding on now, seeing that his opponent is on the offensive. He could barely keep up, blow for blow, and he knew that he was weakening with every powerful stroke. He had to do something fast, or he's a goner...

10-11-2004, 22:03
Out of no where, Drakomis literally burst into view with a war-cry. Firmly grasped in his two hands was a two-bladed sword, simple it seemed, but very special to the Leader. He swung at an arch at the dark one, a desire to rid this one from existance on his face. Clearly his eyes lit afire.
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 22:19
"What!? *grunts* You're insane!" Tyler shouted, and the Dark Jedi sensed the man as he charged like mad.

The Dark Jedi found an opening and kicked the boy hard in the stomach, felling him. Then he turned to meet his adversary, lightsaber high, expecting to slice the metal blade in half with ease, and finish off the leader.
Anagonia
10-11-2004, 23:08
The two swords met, a swirl of instense energy flaring from the leaders sword. However, as Drakomis snarled viciously, his body glowed somewhat. It was nothing that he personally knew he could do, just something that happened on instinct. All Drakomis cared about was finishing the enemy, his mind telling him to harm...to cut this individual to pieces. A growl from Drakomis, a angered one, told the entire story.

As the dark one looked in suprised, but seemed not amazed and ringed back his sword to arch at another angle, Drakomis moved with intense grace, and speed, as he swong his sword upward, touching the enemies sabre, then thrusting forward to slash downward.

All Drakomis saw was an intense rage of red...
CoreWorlds
10-11-2004, 23:37
Tyler was amazed at the energy growing within Drakomis, but he charged into the battle, ready to attack again.

Now, the Dark Jedi has two foes to deal with, and whirled as fast as he could to deal with both Jedi and...whoever this other leader is. As soon as the Sith's blade was met wth one foe, he immediately spun to block the other. But Tyler knows his foe is weakening...

OOC: Think it's time we interrogated him or killed him off.

OOC: Roger that.

Drakomis spun around to block an incoming attack, and when he was just about to slash back as the Dark one moved to block his friends Tyler attack, somehow Tyler managed to slash the dark one in half. His rage subsiding a few moments later, he looked at himself, and his now-diming aura, and looked at Tyler. A nod from Drakomis, then a long, drawn-in breath, and an exhale into the crisp, cold air.

"Good job," Drakomis said to Tyler.

Drakomis stood, and lifted his sword only to have it fall in two, a fine slice seen as it did so. He looked at the broken sword, sighed, and looked back at Tyler as he threw it down.

"I don't know really, just something that my Father told me I had. Never really could control it, but I know it only comes out when I get severly angry." He laughed somewhat, "Considering I saw red back there, I'm pretty sure I was angry."
