M2 Ursa Main Hover Battle Tank

The M2 Ursa is the newest MBT in the Deshdenstadt military. While hardly the largest at 70 tons, it is indeed the fastest. The tank is powered by a fusion reactor, which uses electrical energy to power 8 lift fans. The fans have a much lower heat signature than old liquid fuel turbofans, and are mounted inside the armor. The intakes are shielded from fragments and other light fire. The 'skirt' of the tank is very heavily armored as well. Despite the rumors, the tank cannot travel over water. However, it can travel at 75mph on flat surfaces.
Because of the inherent instability caused by floating around on a cushion of air, the weapons of the Ursa have low recoil. A railgun is mounted in the turret, 200mm. While this may seem obscenely large and take up too much storage space, the Ursa can carry over 100 of the standard APFSDS/SCRAMjet rounds, since there is no need for propellant room. The secondary weaponry consists of a turret mounted 20mm gatling coilgun, with a dual feed. In addition, a 7.5mm minicoilgun and a small THEL are mounted for missile defense. Up to 12 ATGMs/SAMs can be mounted externally.
'Wasp' Wire Dart Beehive mines are mounted around the tank as defense against infantry and missiles. Armor consists of Biphasecarbide (BPC), NxRA/Chobham, and EleRA, which makes it resistant to HEAT rounds. It also mounts MAHEM Magnetic Reactive Jets and the projectile launching Smart Armor to defend it from KE attacks.
The tank is highly automated, so a crew of only two is necessary. They have full NBC protection.
Greyhound Hover Infantry Fighting Vehicle

We were taking Charlie point for the exercise, and our lochos was being sent down the [Ulja] Valley. We had already alerted OPFOR when B Lochos took out their automortars, so they were moving to flank us as we came through the pass. Lucky for us there weren't any mines in the area, but we could see the infantry coming over the hill with thermal. Hansje wanted to wait and call for arty, but we had better ideas. It was mostly clear road, a few felled trees. Our driver revved the fans and we went rocketing down, pulling 90 mph or so. First log came up, and he gunned it again. Sailed right over the f*cker. Second one, vooomp, right over it. All the while Hansje was taking out infantry with the topside MG. We made it through the pass without a casualty, they never knew we were there. Cleaning the puke from our dogfaces in the back was a pain though.

The Greyhound, like the newer Ursa, is a fast beast. The fusion reactor of the vehicle powers the underside liftfans, which take in air through a large series of shielded ducts on the sides and front of the vehicle. Again, the vehicle's IR signature is surprisingly low, and the skirt is very durable. Speeds on flat surfaces have been topped off at around 126mph.
Weaponry consists of a 76mm rapidfire railgun in a turreted mount, with a coaxial 20mm autocoilgun. Two 7.5mm Minicoilguns are mounted for infantry and missile defense, and a small THEL also serves a missile defense purpose. 8 ATGMs or SAMS are mounted in a box launcher.
'Wasp' Wire Dart Beehive mines are mounted around the HIFV as defense against infantry and missiles. Armor consists of Biphasecarbide (BPC), NxRA/Chobham, and EleRA, which makes it resistant to HEAT rounds. It also mounts MAHEM Magnetic Reactive Jets and the projectile launching Smart Armor to defend it from KE attacks.
The Greyhound is highly automated, so a crew of only two is necessary, though three is common. They have full NBC protection. The greyhound can carry one lochos (8 men) in it's personnel bay.
More to come.
