Corporate Executives Executed! [ATTN Capitalists]
Hogsweat
07-11-2004, 00:49
The revolution didn't actually force the corporations to leave. Many stayed, knowing that the Hogsweatian economy relied on them for big business. They did not, however, expect what was coming on the 8th of October. The main business tower in Hogsweat, the Microsoft Building, was seized and all its higher-ranking employees executed. Before other Corporations could hear of the matter and attempt to escape, they too were seized by government Stormtroopers and executed.
=======
There was a mighy crash as the Company Executive Michael Peterson looked down from his skyscraper. He could see the main door being blown down, government soldiers pouring in. He ran for the phone, picking it up and dialing in a secret number.
"Peterson"
The voice on the other side answered.
"What is it, Peterson?"
"They've gone and done it!"
"Who?"
"The Hogsweatians! They're here for me-"
There was a buzz as the line was cut, ending Peterson's call abruptly.
"Oh shit, oh shit, oh SHIT!"
He said aloud, looking around for somewhere to hide. His worst fears where met, when the door slammed open, three SMG-Toting Storm Troopers appearing. They fanned out, and clamped him in handcuffs.
====
Teojiki Neowan saw it from his main office. The soldiers, the tanks, the whole deal. He reached into his pocket for a Sony Ericsson cellphone, and unfolded it.
"This is Neowan. Lock down all doors, put on full security. Get my helicopter ready"
A smart "Yessir" was the reply, but Neowan had already hung up and was running for his helipad. Bursting open doors and speeding up stairs, he appeared at the top of the massive skyscraper, the Sikorsky Executive helicopter awaiting him. Wind blew his short, grey hair, as the Japanese man climbed into the helicopter without further ado. As he looked behind him, he knew they had already come. As the helicopter took off, rotors cutting the thin air, a group of soldiers appeared on the roof. One pointed, and they fired at the Sikorsky, but the inbuilt chaingun gunned them all down. Teojiki smiled.
"Not without a fight, you Commie bastards"
He heard the cursing from his pilot, as two Ka-52 Hokum's cut in front of the Sikorsky. However, Teojiki had made many efforts to increase security, and at his order two pods of rockets ejected out of the side of the Sikorsky. Expecting the chopper to power down, the Hokums were caught with their pants down when around fourty small rockets carrered into one, a chaingun ripping up the others rotor blades.
"Hurry, and we may still have a chance."
Teojiki leant out the side, wind blowing into the side of his face. As he looked below him, he saw Economy Road whizz by, whole assemblies of unprepared Corporate Executives and the like being rounded up and chucked into Police Vans. He laughed.
"You'll never catch Teojiki Neowan! Never!"
========
The helicopter was cruising over the jungle, trying to make a run for Teojiki's private island estate. Neowan was relaxing, when he heard the clash of more rotor blades. Looking behind him, he saw another four Hokum's tailing behind him.
"Step on it!"
The helicopter accelerated, the chaingun below swivelling around, spitting out rounds.
"Nearly there sir!"
One of the Hokum's launched a missile, and Teojiki was thrown around the helicopter as it took a nearly 90 degrees bank to avoid the missile. Neowan let out a sigh of relief as they passed over the sea and he could see his island. A large grin appeared, when an underground SAM Installation powered up, launching a volley of missiles which downed two of the pursuing helicopters. The others, unwilling to face what they thought was a fortress, ran for their airbase.
Teojiki dusted down, shaking hands with some of his friends and making a call to the world.
Message to all Capitalist Governments
This is Teojiki Neowan of the Hogsweatian Domestic Corporation Neo-Bear. My fellow executives have been rounded up and probably executed, but I have escaped. I am currently at co-ordinates CAK-139. Please send help. I have much knowledge and most of my blueprints and data are stored here. It would be a great economical find for you. Please help!

Although my government does not condone this heinous act, I respect the Hogsweatian government's unalienable right to govern its people as it sees fit. Few things in this world are more sacred than sovereignty, thus we have no intention of intervening. Moreover, as an RB ally and a fellow member of the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization, Hogsweat need not fear retaliatory action by my government, whether it be economic, military, or otherwise. However, I implore the Hogsweatian government to cease and desist these atrocities.

Redmond, Washington
The Overlord was displeased.
William Gates IV surveyed the almighty military empire that he had constructed from the pieces of the collapsed United States. Through the economic and political might wielded by Microsoft Corporation, he purchased and forged a viable combat force, rivalling the strength of the former U.S Armed Forces at its peak.
With this fearsome army, the son of the formerly richest man in the world overran the northwest, taking for himself the name Overlord Gates IV, Ruler of the Incorporated States.
Secure in her safety, the Microsoft Corporation continued to expand to nations all across the world, socialists included by trade or arms.
But... this new news from Hogsweat disturbed him greatly.
If this upstart could go about executing Softies without regard, other nations that he had coerced might have similar ideas.
No, thought Gates, this plague must be destroyed at the root...
And so the sleeping giant of the Microsoft Defense Forces rose against the pathetic socialists in Hogsweat.

Public Message to Hogsweatian Govt.
"Vile communists.
Your ilk has been tolerated by our great corporation for far too long. Now you have crossed the line into brutal murder of employees.
Let it be known, scum, that our military forces are en-route to your nation to liberate her groaning citizens from the Red Menace.
Sleep well, for these will be your last nights on earth."

Indigo, a national socialist, became rather enraged when he read of the Hogsweat government ruling its people with hatred. Even under his regime, he did not persecuted communists, or those with other political belief. No, Indigo was one for education. He knew that the way to change the minds and hearts of people was not through giving fear to the people, but rather to influence them in such a way of which they will choose to follow. The Fuhrer was quite a smart man, and although he knew that war wasnt exactly nessasary, he was rather tired of hearing about the general aggression, and the arrogence the Hogsweat government held.
It was time to make an announcement, and three hours later, Indigo could be watched on television screens across the globe, making his own statements on the recent actions of the government of Hogsweat. These people were not communists, but they were fascists, set to destroy their own peoples and the peoples around them.
"While the people of Hogsweat continue to be oppressed on the so-called communist regime, I stand here for them in popular belief that they ought to be granted freedom. Although my own regime can be likened with the National Socialists, it is not true that we are looking for the spread of our own beliefs into the ghastly halls of Marx, but it is true that we are looking for the spread of all that is good. I have not seen good in Hogsweat.
Therefore I officially condemn the government of Hogsweat, and while as of yet retalitory action is not being a definate, make it known that we are most certainly considering it. Let the people stand strong, and the people stand free; and you will not see the armys of the Nationalist Repubblica in your gardens. Reese Gordon knew he wasn't really talking to the leader of Paxtonne, but he was relatively sure that the message would get to him or her. Everybody ('everybody' including only the most upperclass citizens - commonfolk were all but legally dead) knew that, though every six years, the public figure that was credited as the nation's leader changed, the dictator was always really the same. As long as the people thought their leadership changed, though, it kept them from getting any ideas about revolution.
Gordon, who was a young executive in Paxtonne's most major corporation, Athletico, was currently standing in the office of the most recent "leader," Penelope Grunt. She was a thin, harsh-faced woman somewhere in her thirties, and regarded him with a cold, indifferent air.
"Well, get to it. What do you want to talk to me about?" she asked sharply.
Gordon cringed inwardly, but maintained his usual casual attitude on the outside. "There's been a recent... ah incident over in Hogsweat. The government had seized and executed several executives from multinational corporations."
"And?" she persisted icily. "How does this concern Paxtonne?"
"Well, you see," he replied, "there's talk among the lowerclass about a... how do you say... anticonsumerism movement."
"Ah. So in short, you're worried it will start a trend, and you'll be the next one taken out."
"So glad you understand."
"So anyone caught saying anything that could remotely relating to the subject will be publicly hung - problem solved."
"You don't get it - it's bigger. Some Paxtonne officials fear this could result in anticapitalist terrorists."
Grunt considered this for a moment. "Well, I suppose this could damage our economy. Fine, I'll have word sent to Hogsweat that if they continue, we'll be forced to send armed forces to interfere in their affairs."
"One more thing."
"Yes?"
"There's a Hogsweatian execution, Neowan, who is in fear for his life. He is willing to share valuable data with anyone willing to help him."

Events had clearly taken a turn for the worse up top, the Captain was sure. He figured that getting out of Hogsweatian waters without at least a minor skirmish was nigh-impossible.
"We've got two inbound." said the radar officer, "heading west, destination appears to be Neowan's compound."
"What is it?"
"Appears to be a pair of chinooks - what's the bet we've got someone's special ops inbound?"
The captain sighed. Sonar had picked up the MANTA preparing her launch tubes. This was going to be a very very interesting couple of hours.
"Weps, arm torpedoes and harpoons. we're going to shadow the MANTA. if she surfaces to launch, we sink her. But not before we're certain of intent."

The pair of Chinooks came in, flying low to the water. It would be very difficult for radar operaters to pick up the helicopters amongst the waves, and hard for thermal imaging devices to pick up their enigine signatures, as they were IR masked. They drew closer to the island, and sent an encrypted burst transmission to the executive:
Hold fire, friendly aircraft inbound.
Admiral Pliskin stood on the bridge. A young corporal came in, "Sir, we got a message from PT 21" Pu thim on. He was handed a headset, "Whatt's the status?"

"The target?"
"Redlingtonford airfield and an electrical substation north of it."
"Good."
"Also, I've got something suspicious. I picked up a sub on sonar. At first I thpught it was you, but it is moving very strangely. I think it might be following us."
"Hail it. Find out what it wants. Put him through to me. Be prepared to sink it at a moments notice."

OOC: Pardon me, been too involved with the ye olde RWC blockade situation recently, so I translated it wrong in my head. Still the comment stands.

[Aboard the UNS Vine]
The captain quietly seethed as he sat at his chair.
"There's nothing for it but to pull back."
The engines on the Vine slowed and the fleet ahead slowly started steaming into the distance. The Vine could wait.
They weren't done here just yet.
Dr. Clarke concealed a grin. "Excellent. We've taken care of the vine...for now. Tell the SRU to aid the evac, make sure everything goes off clean."
"Yes Sir!" The corporal shouted. "Sir, I just received word from the aircraft carrier SSS Eyrenstrong and they are underway! They have the stealth fighters as requested, and anti-sub aircraft. The submarines SSS Odin and SSS Scimitar have been assigned support, along with another AEGIS."
"Good. Tell SINOD Beta to get their asses on board that carrier!"
"Sir!"
Pliskin looked at his telegram:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Admiral Pliskin:
The MANTA's mission is over. STOP.
You are to join the aircraft carrier Eyrenstrong. STOP.
Your XO is incharge of the MANTA. STOP.
Have him take it home. STOP.
-Dr. Clarke

He turned to the crew: "Men, you're going home!"
and there was an erruption of cheering.

OOC: Sorry
Neowan spun around as the Doominsglandians entered the room.
"Excellent! Thank god you have arrived, I thought it was hopeless"

"Roger that, missiles prepped."
The three Tu 160's zoomed straight over the jungle at 10,000 feet, picking up speed and arming their missiles. As they approached the compound, they let loose, a score of H16 Tactical Missiles slamming into the compound and setting it ablaze, while the unforuntate Doomingslandian soldiers burned..

The soldiers outside the compound watched in anger as their comrades who had entered the compound were incinerated. Strangley enough, one of the men checked his PDA, and found the data on it. One of the men inside of the compound had transmitted it a second before the first missile impacted.
"Alright, we've gotten what we came for, let's clear out."
"Should we leave a present behind?"
"Sure, why not."
One of the men walked to the outskirts of the compound, and left a 50 pound satchel charge. Attached to it was a brick of plutonium. It was set on a trip wire, a pressure plate, and a remote satelite detonater. If the detonater was triggered, the immediate area would not only be completely leveled, but contaminated as well. The men quickly recovered what was left of their comrades, and the helos lifted off, heading out of Hogsweaten airspace, leaving no trace of their coming other than the present.
Sgt. Michael Connor of the Siapian Special Reconaissance unit watched as the Doomingsland commandos evacuated. "Crap! We gotta get off this island, ASAP!" The men scrambled. He contacted the Eyrenstrong, who sent out helicopters. The men scrambled aboard them.
Meanwhile, Dr. Clark watched the activity below. "get us away from this island. It might get just a little messy." The AWACS made ascended and turned away from the island.
Dr. Clarke shifted in his seat. "I don't like this anymore. Tell the fleet to pull out. Take me home."
