Grays Hill

A year and a half ago, President Sakai was killed, and his top Military Advisor Gen. Morimoto proclaimed himself ruler of the country. The military backed the General, so a revolution to overthrow him was out of the question. The people were in a pretty pickle. Small pockets of resistance sprung up around the nation in an effort to regain their once glorious democracy. These pockets were found and destroyed nearly as soon as they were formed. The revolutionaries were no match for the well organized forces of Grays Hill.

One rather large pocket of resistance know as the Grays Hill Freedom Fighters were the toughest of them all. Being that it was so large, there were people of all professions, including doctor Richkov. And when Morimoto took a turn for the worse and became violently ill, he was rushed to the Hospital in the Capital city of Beaufort. Doctor Richkov, the head doctor of Beaufort Memorial Hospital, jumped at this opportunity.

When General Morimoto arrived, they found the problem. There was several blockages to his heart. The only way to fix it was for Morimoto to go under, and be operated on. This was Richkov’s chance to kill the evil dictator and regain freedom for the people. As soon as Morimoto went under and the operation began, Doctor Richkov pulled out a small hand gun and shot Morimoto once in the forehead, instantly killing him.

The next morning, this news flooded the headlines. The dictator was dead, and elections were to be held in one year. In the mean time, the Secretary of State, Dean Young, was to be the acting President. And the first thing he did was pass a bill stating that everybody in the military must swear under God, their allegiance to democracy and their will to die for it. Peace had been restored to Grays Hill by the will of a doctor.
