Skies over Pinkoes

Two hundred C17s escorted by 60 F22s began unloading paratroopers, Strykers, and M8 AGSs. A total of 18,000 infantry, 50 tanks, and 80 Strykers land around the area of the capital. The infantry begin moving into the city, setting houses on fire, and shooting anyone that looks armed. The M8s begin attacking enemy armor, while the Strykers move in support of the infantry, laying down .50 cal fire on enemy positions.

All refugees fleeing Pinkoes due to religious persecution or due to the whole war issue (except Christians) are welcome in the People's Republic of Independent Wiccans. Hopefully the occupying forces can provide transport for them... since our nation does not intend to risk our three precious Starlifters evacuating people.

The Conrado government is officially declaring that the genocide of 500 people that was committed is an atrocious crime against humanity. We hope not to get involved, as this is not our war. The Imperial units stationed along the defensive fortifications were completely bewildered at the sight of the wooden dingies sailing towards the shore. The dingies bore the flag of some unknown foreign nation. Apparently, upon seeing the sight, the Imperial sailors aboard the ships of the defense fleets had broke into such hysterical laughter as they were incapable of firing on the dingies.

Unfortunately, the foreigners had chosen the most heavily defended spot along the Imperial coastline as their point of attack, so it came as no surprise that the Imperial Praetorians took great sport in blowing the dingies and their occupants to hell.

The machine guns rattled off under the lazy afternoon sun, the bullets cutting the "vessels" to pieces. As the cheap wooden boats sank tot he bottom, the soldiers, weighted down by gear, sank with them. The ones who were not annihalated by gunfire simply drowned as the Imperial Praetorians laughed on the shoreline.

The commander of this particular division, General Saul Hudson, promptly played a rockin' guitar solo, smoked a cigarette, drained a bottle of vodka, and passed out.

The Imperial HRV SDI defense immediately targetted the incoming ordinance. The sattelites focused their lasers on the missiles, and promptly fried the internal electronics. The useless scrap metal fell harmlessly into the sea.

Imperial paratroopers began securing their side of the country, moving into towns and villages, hoisting the imperial standerds above them, and executing all government officials by fireing squad. An infantry brigade arrived via ship, bringing the total occupation force up to 25,000 men.

In the cities, several soldiers could be seen standing at every street corner, and tanks and IFVs formed roadblocks, and enforced marshall law.

Pinkoes had become an imperial province.
