IC:
ViZion City, ViZion
The International Trade Convention was being held in ViZion City, ViZion. What a great honor it was to us! ViZion designated its International Trading Center, which is home to the booming ViZion City Stock Market, to be the hosting building of the International Trade Convention.

You are being flown into ViZion City International (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7329285#post7329285), one of the world’s largest and busiest airports. As to exit the building for your ride, you can smell the fresh, crisp Mediterranean Sea air, even though you couldn't see it. Yes, ViZion happens to lay next to the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately for airport-goers, it is on the far side of the city.

A man in a black suit walked up to you, and introduces him self. He was sent by ViZion's Government to transport you to the convention. You enter a silver Cadillac STS (http://www.cadillac.com/images/models/sts/gallery/photoExt1_med.jpg), with various drinks and snacks for you to enjoy. The Cadillac was bullet-proof, and the driver and front passenger are armed with three different guns and two knifes, incase the car came under attack.

You head east into ViZion City. The city was very large, and vibrant, and lit up with life. Thousands of people crowded the sidewalks, and thousands of cars covered the road. But, even so, things seemed to move along well. You notice how well-mannered ViZionarians are, always greeting each other on the sidewalks, even if they didn’t know each other. As for the cars, it seemed rather quiet, very little honking happened. The drivers let each other in, as long as they used their blinkers.

The streets, from what you could see, seemed clean. Trees lined the broad avenues that you traveled on. You notice there seems to be very little smog. A very clean city of 75 million indeed!

Hundreds of high-rise buildings were everywhere. There didn’t seem to be multiple “downtowns” that were customary to extremely large cities, but rather the entire city was one large “downtown”. Even so, with many large international corporations owning these buildings, they didn’t seem to have a death-grip on the area's economy. You noticed small businesses lined the crowded sidewalks.

Even with so much density, the city was extremely spread out – about 1,605.07 square miles! (In comparison, Los Angeles is more than three times smaller in area.) This sprawling metropolis was truly amazing, bustling with millions of people night and day.

As you neared the ITC building, you notice that things seem to thin out a little. Less people were walking around, and more of these people were dressed up. The buildings, roadways, and sidewalks all seemed to change, too. Things got more elegant and cleaner. The roads started getting fancier, with designs on them. The sidewalks were now large tile-like pieces.

Coming up the building, which stood 65 stories above the street, you notice it holds high all the flags of those nations who are attending. The building was lit up, bustling with excitement. It was to begin now.

As you drove up to the entrance of the ITC, six men, dressed up in white-with-black tuxedo’s, opened your door, and helped you out of the vehicle. Looking around, you see the black granite walls with a waterfall cascading over the top of it, down the wall. A plaque, made of platinum, read, in large, bold, and centered words,

Welcome
To The
International Trade Center

As you walked up to the massive crystal doors, outlined with silver and chrome, two men, wearing white-with-black tuxedo’s and white gloves, opened the doors for you. As you enter, a refreshingly cool breeze lightly brushes you. It is quite nice, as you were just outside in the southern Italy heat. You notice the sound of a piano playing.

As your eyes scan the area, you quickly notice the elaborate usage of granite, marble, gold, silver, platinum, and crystal. Straight ahead was a fireplace large enough to fit a large cargo van. Inside, a large, warm fire cast its glow over the surrounding seating.

On both sides of that, a large, elegant spiral staircase swept up to the next floor, high above you. As you look up, you see hand-crafted images engraved in the wood, which was painted white.

The lobby was busy with men in white tuxedo’s walking about, and periodically asking if you need anything. Ahead, and to the left, you see the piano. A black piano, with a man in a black tuxedo, seemed to enchant the entire lobby with its music.

The black granite and white marble seemed to intermingle with each other, never on the contrary with the other. Gold, silver, platinum, and chrome outlined everything. It was certainly one of the most elegant buildings around.

Within a moment, a man in a white-with-silver tuxedo, fully decked out with the cane and top hat introduces him self as “Mr. Taylor Evens”, and takes you to the large petrified oak doors. He opens them, and the room is exposed.

A massive solid oak desk, which has been waxed and polished, stands in front of you. Behind that, two ladies stand behind it in white dresses, and welcome you. There is a wall behind them, which has, imprinted into it and lit up, Trade Conference Center.

Mr. Taylor Evens walks you around the wall, in which a massive room with tables and desks is revealed. It, too, is bustling with people.

To the left of the room, there were dozens of small offices, which were set up for you to meet privately with other representatives.

Let the trading begin!

OOC2: I normally describe things better, but I’m a bit sick, thus that suffers a little bit from that.

Oh yes, and your stay in ViZion is paid for by us. You are here completely free.

Minister (Julius) Kainzier walked slowly by Mr. Taylor Evens, clothing of normal Black & White Tuxedo, followed by the Imperial Senator's which were also in Black & White Tuxedos, but most coat edges were trimmed with a dark blue. They also had blue traditional cloaks, signifying as a Imperial Senator position. They examined the large amounts of people conversing in the next room. The Nycton VIPs were closely watched from behind by 9 Senatorial Army bodyguards, each for the Senators and the Minister. They were in formal military uniform, white pants, and white jacket, decorated with many ribbons, metals, a nametag, and a agulette. All of them held a traditional Nycton helmet from the first Nycton Imperial soldier (Looks like a Officer helmet of a Roman Legionary). Red plumes came from the topcenter to the back of the helmet. Each had red cloaks on, signifying a military position. ViZion men in all white took the helmets with great care to their racks. The 18 men entered the room and began talking politely to the other guests, waiting for more to arrive for the Convention to begin.

Videllia Catrania stepped out of her limosuine in awe. She saw the massive doors and the beauty of the building, as well as the impeccable service she was getting here in ViZion. "They've gone all out on this," she thought, "and it shows."

Catrania also appreciated how ViZion was paying for her stay completely- for once, a Roman government action won't result in a tax hike. Roman Emperor Rodin Hartian had expressly told her to bolster Rome's trading abilities and find a new source of wealth for the Empire, if only to help pour in trillions of coins (OOC: 1 coin=$10 Cdn.) so that he could cut taxes. Catrania brought with her hundreds of items for sale, the biggest of which was Rome's pharmaceutical line. As Paul (Hartian's predecessor) devoted so much to health care Rome's medicine had become top of the line, with continued research allowing Rome's medicine to go even further and faster. She hoped to sell a few products from that line here.

OOC: ViZion, can I ask which Earth are you based on? I ask simply out of curiosity as I base my nation (obviously) in Italy as well, but on a different Earth (my own).

Senator Thesos rode in his limo through the streets of ViZion City, from what he had seen of this country he was impressed, it was far more developed and richer than his own, perhaps something Apollina could aim to achieve in the future; this conference would be another stepping stone in Apollina's economic growth.

The car stopped at a checkpoint just before they entered to convention centre grounds, the driver gave their details and they were allowed to pass. As they drove up to the entrance the Senator and his aide (a junior trade envoy) were incredibly impressed at this masterpiece of architecture. They saw their flag fluttering in the wind and felt proud.

As the Senator and his aide entered, they thanked the men opening the door and were then hit by sweet music, that neither of them had heard anything like before, the piano was not a particularly popular instrument at home, however here it was played very well.

As they entered the main convention hall, again they were impressed. However they could not help feeling a little apprehensive, they were a tiny nation here, among giants, however they were here to serve Apollina and her people, and in this task they would do thier very best.

Arriving without too much fuss in a CAF personal jet, Kingston Moandeke entered the ViZion City airport.

His white suit contrasting with the ebony black of his skin, Kingston cut a prettier figure here than he did at home. Having his attendee set up a table with a variety of offers from AC's largest industries - namely Arms Manufacturing, Minerals, Food and Publishing.

Other than that, he decided to retire for the moment - Anyone wishing to pursue trade with the Commonwealth were welcome to come disturb him, after all.

The Xenizen Airways Boeing 777 Lambda Special jet flew into ViZion, landing in the terminal to great fanfare.

Out of it stepped Trade Secretary Kenneth Wong. He looked fantastic in his Brooks Brothers suit, and his glasses gave off the impression of intellgence and sophistication. His overall personality was upbeat, and he felt like Fonzie: cool, and slick.

He got into the waiting limo along with his bodyguards, and as it drove to the International Trade Center. He admired the sights as they flew by. "Wow. These people know how to live..." he thought respectfully.

When he got to the ITC, he stepped out, and walked inside into the lobby. He was greeted by a man in a top hat, who gave the appearance, at least to Wong, of Fred Astaire.

The man introduced himself as Taylor Evens. Ken shook the man's hand. "Name's Kenneth Wong. Where's there convention taking place?"

Mr. Evens said, "Right this way." He led him to a massive set of oak doors. Mr. Evens opened them, and led him into a room filled with tables and desks. He thanked Mr. Evens, and then he and his bodyguards pulled out a series of large briefcases, and began setting up the display and samples to be showed.

Ken thought: "I have a good feeling about this....."

"One bannana daquari please." The bartender looked at him funny for a second, then began to mix his drink. After recieving his drink, and asking for a curly straw and umbrella, and walked into the main room. He began to mingle, while sipping louly through his straw.

"Having a daquari of course. Want a sip?" Kevin simply said no. He then began to set up his stuff. A map of Ramissle, specifics on the ITC, and a picture of the WTO building were placed on display frames. He sat down. This is going to be a long weekend.

The Emperor Lishao Tao walked through the halls in his jade green robe which was richly made of silk. As some of it had been dragged on the carpet, his golden crown, made up of the most rarest and very valuble gold shined in the light which showed richness. His necklace, which mythologically had been passed down by Emperor to Emperor of China had shined and caught attention.

He placed two security men next to him wearing tuxedo's and had sun glasses which covered their eyes as they observed everything.

The Emperor sat down and waited patiently for the meeting to begin. His black silky hair matched his well formed hazel eyes. The 24 year old had been slim and strong, and skilled. His light tan skin which was soft was with his height, which reached around 6'5.

Mr. Krik Guztik. Though, 3 of them broke away, finding their table remotely near the door. Setting up signs here and there. Even setting up Teddy Bears, a Rubix Cube, and a Vibrator for those Assination meetings ( link: http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7419828#post7419828 ) along with a several samples of Narcotics that the Astril Cartel delivered, but these were the verisons that were offered, but declined by Astril Carte, though a little flyer here and there, explained what everything was, along with nametags. The General stayed there. General Ruger Utik (Ru-grr U-tik is the pronouncation)

The President broke away. Escorted by two Foot soldiers who looked like heavy-set Muscular Bodyguards. They belonged to the Nation of Jurrik's military services. He attempted to find a booth that he liked. It was amazing mostly. He begun to wander away somewhat. His guards escorting him and even pushing away some people that rushed through the area in a Hurry.

Krik wasn't up for these large areas, he didn't even bring by his Foreign Affairs offical, he was all on his own today. Lighting up a Cigarette and placing it between his lips, this place amazed him. The sleek, ebony form of the Ka-60 Kasatka (http://www.army-technology.com/projects/ka_60/images/Ka60_1.jpg) flew quickly past the gossamer skinned buildings of ViZion City. Gazing at the ebony reflection in the mirror like buildings, Under Secretary of State Miles Bartholomew felt a pang of remorse for a youth that had long since passed. The rhythmic growl of the helicopter’s rotor blades, despite the dampening of their sound through the passenger compartment, made Bartholomew long for the days when long ago he too had flown similar helicopters for the People’s Army.
Seeing and feeling the Kasatka buzzing over the crowded, car lined streets of ViZion City brought a faint smile to Bartholomew’s lips. The thought of his many long, hard days as a young lieutenant with the Beta Air Assault Company made Bartholomew realize what a truly wonderful life he had led. Who would have ever imagined that a military brat from Port Krasinsky would become one of New Kiev’s most important diplomats? Its funny how the universe works sometimes, Bartholomew thought as his faint smile grew.
“I would take it that you approve of our capital?” Asked a voice from beside Bartholomew. He turned and looked at his “coordination guide” from the Juris Naturalis nation of ViZion. Bartholomew’s guide was a young man of about thirty with a thin mane of black hair. The man was wearing a non-descript black suit that Bartholomew secretly thought belonged on a mortician not a trade negotiator.
“Yes I do,” Bartholomew said as he made eye contact with his ViZion guide “and I was also thinking about the fact your beautiful city is only magnified by our bird’s view.”
“I sincerely thank you Mr. Under Secretary,” said the guide with a slight nod of his head. “Our city planners had both beauty and utility in mind when they made some of our most recent district renovation projects.”
“Well, the care and artistry of your architects is evident,” Said Bartholomew “…it is the perfect city in which to discuss the important matters of trade commerce between all of the nations that have gathered.”
“I am glad you feel that, it is important that all of us that have gathered are put at ease by our surroundings.” The guide then turned his gaze from Bartholomew to look out the Kasatka’s left passenger window. “In just a few short minutes we should be able to see the Internation Trade Center.”
“Excellent,” said Bartholomew as he shifted in seat and leaned to the left for a better view.
Within two minutes, the Ka-60 made its final turn eastward and approached the ITC. After passing a few buildings Bartholomew recognized as ViZion’s thriving business district, the skyscrapers parted. Suddenly the Kasatka was hovering within a large clearing within the forest of financial buildings. Bartholomew looked on in amazement at the large tower of silver, steel, and symmetry that was the ViZion city International Trade Center. The ITC rose out of the well manicured gardens and concrete approaches like the fabled Mt. Olympus of old. Bartholomew continued to stare at the tower’s all consuming beauty as the Ka-60 begun to lower itself towards the small heliport set off to the north of the building.
“Well, I certainly am impressed.” Bartholomew said simply.
“We expected that you would be.” The guide said as a large grin moved over his features.
The Ka-60 quickly decelerated into a hover and quickly touched down a large growth of concrete lined by small elm trees. Two other helicopters, both models that Bartholomew didn’t recognize, sat on either side of the now powering down Kasatka. The four members of Bartholomew’s delegation quickly exited the Ka-60 and once the rotors were beginning to audibly slow, opened the passenger doors for Bartholomew and the ViZion guide. Once he had unbuckled his seat restraints, Bartholomew slapped a hand on the pilot’s shoulder and expressed his thanks.
“Your most welcome, sir” Said the pilot as the turned to face Bartholomew. “And good luck!”
“Thanks,” said Bartholomew as he began leaving the Kasatka.
Bartholomew quickly crossed to the front of the Kasatka as two of his aides fell into step behind him. As his guide respectfully walked on Bartholomew’s left side, he felt compelled to mutter under his breath.
“Now its time to get to business.”

He went on to point out that the small rooms to your left (and my right) are for your to set up any deals. He also urges you to walk around and look at the various displayed set up by other nations.

He then closes, tells you to enjoy your visit, and set up trades.

OOC: Like I said, it is short, to the point, and somewhat crap. Sorry!

The Dornalian Trade Minister, Johann Kruger, arrived on a Boeing 777. Landing in ViZion City International, he stepped out of the plane, and proceeded to take a limo to the conference.

After arriving at the conference hall, he said his hellos, was greeted by Mr. Evens, and walked into the main trading area.

He then proceeded to open a large suitcase, and too began to set up his wares like many others had done.

EDIT: Short, crappy, but I think it gets the job done....
