The young and bright eyed reporter smiled, "Good evening and welcome to channel seven news, I'm Yelena Katinova. Our top story tonight: the first Five Year Plan has been declared a sucess. That's right, comrade Lekov, our beloved leader has just confermed this, today at a speech in the Red Square of Stalinova. This is remarkable sucess, for the revolution was, as we all know, just over five years ago.
"As is law, the Party Congress convened today for its first meeting in five years. Similarly, the Supreme Soviet also was convened. At both meetings, Comrade Lekov announced that the State Planning Ministry has handed in its annual report. It seems that the plan was a sucess. Our beloved comrade Stalin would be proud, for this is a step towards socialism in one country.
"The plan has greatly industrialized the nation and boosted the economy. Industry, once less than 30 percent when compared to agriculture (at over 50 percent), has risen to 80 percent, with agriculture at 20. All natural resorce production has also soured to add. A great day indeed for Stalinism!
