Even though we received no support from any nation when requested, we have finished the first version of our Tactical Armours. We wish to commercialize an amount up to 500 units, for the financing of later versions.

Description:

The TA is a humanoid vehicle equiped with modern weaponry. It requires only one man to operate, and it's primarily an anti-tank/aircraft weapon as it is. In further versions, we'll try to expand its role in the battlefield. The proportions have been kept as simillar to a human's own, with the needed modifications in resistance wherever needed.

HM-1 Data
[
Height: 4m

Weight: 146 tons

Weapons: The HM1 is equiped with KEM (Kinetic Energy Missiles) and a modified IBAS fire control system in its right arm. Currently, it can hold up to 5 missiles. Click here (http://www.army-technology.com/projects/losat/) for more information on the KEM and IBAS.

The anti-aircraft weapon mounted on the left shoulder is an improvement of the Type 95 Twin 35-mm Artillery (http://www.sinodefence.com/army/artillery/aaa/35.asp). (THe actual gun, of course..) It is controlled by either the Armour's CPU or the pilot itself. BOth weapons can be used simultaneously, and both rely on the CPU for tracking.

There is also a pair of Vulcan railguns equiped on its flanks, should there be need to fight through enemy infantry units without wasting missile ammunition. A retractable blade on the left arm, composed of enhanced titanium alloy, can be used to pierce through medium armour, though it tends to break if used repeatedly or against other titanium surfaces.

Armour and Gear: The plates consist on 10mm Titanium alloy. The inside has been isolated against possible electric interference or EMP attacks. The ammunitions for the railguns and anti-aircraft gun are placed in the back, connected to the said guns, and providing a constant flow of ammunition. The guns were improved on to reduce clipping and overheating issues.

Its main computer is used to track down enemy units and aid the pilot to decide which enemy's top priority to take down. It also works in cooperation with a command centre for pathfinding purposes, giving each possible path a description based on length, terrain type, known threats, etc. It's encased in a 20mm thick lead box, and connects to further computers charged with each of the systems, these protected in smaller 5mm boxes (same material). The main CPU has a cache speed of 600MHZ, 4GB RAM at 566MHZ, and 8GBs bandwitdh between each of the CPUs.

Communications are provided through an encrypted, secure waveform channel to and from the base.

We're still develloping possible additions, such as a flotation device and better anti-infantry/armour weapons.

The engine's powerful enough to make the TA run at a top speed of 50 km/h. Balance adjustments are calculated by the assigned CPU. The TA is powered by an energy module that allows it to work for 1 hour at minimum waste, 20 minutes at maximum. We gave up on nuclear power early in the project, as the destruction of a TA would endanger the surrounding environment.

Price: $48.000.000 per unit. Early buyers get a 15% discount on later models.
