Today, in Paris at 5:30, 5 men were shot after a short trial in Marsailles. The 5 men has all refused to participate in compulsary military service, which is in place from ages 18 to 20. They states that they would not join up because killing was sin, no matter how justified. They refused to join up.

Vichy France is a secular state. Personal religious belief is allowed, but no public indicators are allowed whatsoever. These executions were made to show that religious beliefs would not interfere with the government of Vichy France.

The VFCO has stated that they will protest these executions. While neither the president, nor the parliment show any signs of changing positions on the matter, the VFCO states it is planning a protest. If this happens, Vichy France has a noted no-leniency policy on protests. This includes killing, if the need is felt.

I neither condone nor condemn the actions of your nation in treating people who broke the law. I see no reason this law was unjust, and as such have no complaint.
However, I do have a few suggestions for crowd control. My nation has developed several methods of crowd control, including gas shells from tanks for extremely large and dangerous crowds, and is willing to offer some of our solutions for if the crowd gets violent.
We use a variety of gas grenades, gas shells, and rubber bullets. The gas grenades come in two varieties, one being a harmless but easily-seen gas that appears to be smoke from a fire and the other being a fast-acting paralytic agent for when the entire crowd must be subdued. The tank shells are best aimed away from the crowd and the smoke causes people to need to be treated for smoke inhalation.

We are condemned for persecuting criminals, and then stereotyped. Why are we not surprised that a NATO nation has done such a thing? Stereotyping, and invading seem to be the only thing NATO is good at at all.

We have a number of prominent Atheists in the government. We also have protestants, Jews, and others. We are against religion interfering with the public order. This is such a case.

TIOR can be the sad, stereotypical nation it wishes to be. We believe in national sovereignty. We hope that it, and its NATO cronies leave us alone. Or die, whichever comes first.

We condemn the law simply because it would prevent someone from seeking political asylum in another country (because to do that they would have to admit to religious beliefs).

We have trouble with Christian terrorists, but even then it has been many months since the last use of force against them.

We do not support your methods but we understand the sentiment behind them.
