OOC: This RP is Medieval, and, as such, here are some rules.
1) No Magic. No Magic whatsoever. No advanced technology, advanced being as powerful as a cannon.
2) Size: Medieval nations tended to be far smaller than others, as such, divide your NS nation size by 100, with a maximum size of 350 000.
3) Location: I am assuming all nations are accessable, so no ub3r mountain nations who cannot be attacked, nor any nations who are across the sea, on another continent, who occupy that continent. Island nations; fine, but no continent ones. Also, make your nation have an equal number of advantages and disadvantages. If you live in plains, you will have lower defense. If you live in hills, less food, etc.
4) Army size. Although I am limiting size to 1/100 of your NS nation, you may have an army suiting your nation style. I am upping army numbers 4x, as armies were larger, considering the size of the nations. (In other words, not 4%, but 16%. No more than 30% though, as that would kill your economy)
Also, let me sum up what is about to happen. Morithea is about to invade the Frolmean Plain, slaughtering hundreds of innocent folk, and claiming it as their own. The Frolmean Plain is a vast source of food, so most nations will see it as valuable to stop them. The army is beginning an assault on Froman, the main city, which is largely undefended, however, it has strong walls, and is built high.
IC:
Duchess Alethria, Ruler of Morithea, High Lady of the Seven Lands, sighed. She had a small Duchy too the north of most nations, however, she knew that other nations would look to expand as well, and would inevitably look towards the Frolmean Plains. She needed that food, and that space. The Frolmean Plain was 3/4 the size of her nation, but sparsely populated. The only reason anyone else hadn't invaded was because the area exported so much food, disturbing it could disrupt their food supplies. However, she had stored up food, created weaponry, and prepared for such an invasion. She had an army readied at Morith, the capital city of her nation.
Her three thousand men were ready to strike, and she already had a quarter of the Plains under her indirect control, through quiet expansionism.
Although she only had 3 cities in her nations, a few towns and villages, and many farms, she had managed to take control of a group of hills, practically littered with iron, copper and tin. She had used this to forge steel, and arm her soldiers. Soon, her army would advance into the Frolmean plain, and slaughter all in Froman, the large city in the middle of the plain. She would then consilidate her control, and, from there, annex the nearby nations.
3 Weeks Later....
Sergeant Rorx spat the tobacco he had been chewing onto the ground.
He swore vilely, and shouted "Orright you men! Git up and start marchin'!"
His men, who had been indolently lying around a few moments before, quickly jumped to attention, holding a spear, a sheathed sword, and a shield on their back. His regiment marched to join the bulk of the army, as they began their assault on Froman...
OOC: Stats:
3000 soldiers:
500 standard warriors; spear+shield+axe, leather armor
500 pikemen; pike+shield, studded leather armor
500 bowmen; longbow+spear; studded leather armor
350 field doctors (men who can sew, and know how to apply bandages and splints); spear; studded leather armor.
150 siege engineers (men trained in the use of siege engines); shield+spear, studded leather armor.
500 elite warriors; spear+shield+longbow, chain mail
450 lower officers; crossbow+shields+sword, chain mail
50 higher-up officers, sword+shield; breastplate
Siege weapons:
2 mangonels
9 battering rams (protected)
5 sapper teams
5 ballistae

Anyone wishing to join feel free to do so (I know there aren't many medieval nations out there), but keep in mind the size limitations.
Basically, anyone wishing to RP as the defenders, the two nearest nations (Duchies), would be wanted. Other nations are also wanted, but not as badly.

Duchy: 50K-100K
Kingdom/Queendom: 100K-350K
Empire: Group of nations participating in the RP, which have a population total of 500K or more.
