Statement made at 9.30 in the morning in all major newspapers, online websites, radioshows and international newstations.

By voice of the majority at ten to two, the Empire of Dumpsterdam signals the start of an all out economic blockade of the nation of Wolfish. This is because said nation has supported the genocide of several thousands of christians in the nation of Glemente Hage. The Empire of Dumpsterdam nor its allies from the RWC will sit idly by and do nothing and we consider this a first step into forcing the goverment of Wolfish to understand that these kind of actions will not be tolerated.

All nations part of the RWC are forbidden to engage in any sort of trade with the blockaded nation and failure to comply with this shall result in harsh penalties for the offender.

Furthermore, all RWC members are required to remove any ships from the nation of Wolfish from their national waters and to refuse trade with free lance captains who's destination is Wolfish or might be changed to Wolfish at any part of their journey. Should Wolfish's ship refuse to leave national waters from RWC nations then harsh actions will be taken to ensure the ship is seized and its crew captured.

The 11th Dumpsterdanian Royal Navy Carrier Group shall be dispatched to monitor the nation of Wolfish and make sure that the blockade of trade from the RWC is maintained.

Might we remind the Drum Gods goverment to the harsh penalties that will be put upon your nation should you decide not to follow in this blockade? The polls at the RWC headquarters have been open for over six days and should you not have voted on these polls then I find that a fault on your part. Also, any vessles from RWC nations that will attempt to enter Wolfish nation waters will be ordered to turn back by the monitoring fleet and should these warnings not be heeded I have given full permission to open fire on such vessles.

We are not going up against our own alliances will. We are simply stating that we need the time to discuss the matter considering the fact that we have had favourable relations with the nation of Wolfish for a long time even preceeding our joining of the RWC and so this is not as clear cut an issue for us as it is for you.
Meanwhile, any threat of force towards our forces I believe is cause for concern and therefore not an overreaction as you believe it to be.

No, this is a statement of intent, any vessel that tries to enter/leave a wolfish habour will be boarded and if it is trying to leave the habours it will be seized and the citzens deported back to Wolfish. If it trys to enter it will be boarded, all tradable goods seized and then turned back.

If they risist boarding then the vessel will be sunk and any survivors made slaves of Aust.

We are an alliance, a symbol of unity, I will not have any of my comrades fighting among themselves like children! I am not fond of Dumsterdam's threats but I believe that those threats were made with the intention of the continued integerity of the RWC as an alliance.

However, we understand the need for an efficient economy Drum Gods, but you will need to find another nation to trade with lest you risk dampening your relations with the RWC alliance. We hope you think on this, also, we implore you get rid of your naval escorts, we do not need a Dumpsterdam-Drum Gods war right now, especially when the image of the RWC alliance is at it's zenith of importance.

Drum Gods, we don't mind you having a successful economy; not at all, but we will not have the alliance's actions undermined by Drum Gods or anyone else for that matter.

In no way have we threatened hostilities towards any RWC forces. The fleet that is now present is solely to protect the trade vessels from an attack via Dumpsterdam. We of course require some time to renegotiate our existing trade routes away from Wolfish and to that extent the current goods that have been taken to Wolfish must be deposited in order to fulfill contracts signed between private enterprises in our respective nations. Once this is done we will suspend further trade bound for Wolfish.

You are testing the RWC but we understand, please have your deals over and done with as soon as possible, you are being very reasonable but we would prefer it if you didn't bring military escorts, should Dumpsterdam ships try to turn back Drum God(ian?) freighters, they will be told to back off by Kriegos ships.

What is the RWC? And, why would you blockade Wolfish for attempting to save Glemte Hage when Guffingford tried to incinerate it? I do not care whether he commited genocide or not, he should be taught a lesson, not incinerated.

General Blackstone was not amused – and his long stride and grim face made that abundantly clear as he walked to the Combat Information Centre deep underground at the headquarters of Wolfish Defense Command.

The Praetorian Guard opened the doors to the Centre and called the Centre to Attention as the General entered.

“As you were. Status Report,” he barked as he took in the electronic displays around the circular room.

“General – as you know, at 0930 the Empire of Dumpsterdam announced an economic blockade of Wolfish. We are still trying to confirm the details – but this action seems to have been sanctioned by the Right Wing Collective.”

The Intelligence Officer picked up a remote control, and switched the main screen in the room to display a tactical map of Wolfish.

“At present, Dumpsterdam has deployed one carrier battlegroup to monitor our trade corridors. It is located here…” his laser pointer hit a location outside of Wolfish’s territorial claims – but was still close enough to cause the General discomfort.

“Alright,” he said annoyed. “What else?”

“Well Sir – as is typical in these cases – a number of nations have taken up the battle-cry, and are offering various levels of support for the RWC and Dumpsterdam. They are…” he picked up a clipboard and read:

“Momanguise, Kriegorgrad, The Merchant Guilds, The O Faolains, Guffingford, Aust…there will no doubt be more.

Drum Gods – a member of the RWC seems to be holding out – our friendly relations with that nation may help us….and the brave nation of Ratheia has questioned the RWC’s motives.

…finally Hogsweat has voiced their support of Wolfish in this matter.”

“Very Good. First things first then,” said Blackstone, “Get Admiral Hallsey on a secure line – we’ll have to deploy forces to monitor the monitors…then, I’ll want President Todler to give a speech…we’ll write it of course – but Todler will deliver it on live television this afternoon. We need to clarify the Wolfish position.”

The Admiral was briefed over the secure line, after which he called a meeting of his General Staff.

“Captain – recall the 3rd Navy – I want those ships within easy sailing distance of Wolfish within the week. Also – I’ll want to recall subs from the 1st Navy recalled, and formed into wolf packs. They’ll be our first line of defense to keep open our shipping channels should Todler fail.”

“Aye Admiral.”

“Any thing else?” the Admiral looked around the room, and seeing nothing but determined looks, he dismissed the meeting.

The lights from the cameras were blinding – but after 24 years in politics President Todler barely noticed them any more.

He sat behind his ceremonial desk – built from the remains of a warship – from a long-dead enemy’s fleet. On the polished desk sat a sword – its gilded scabbard hiding the tempered blade – sharpened to an edge that could easily sever bone and muscle without pause.

It was a symbol of the past – a constant reminder to the President that his first duty was – as his predecessors had done – to protect this nation against all threats – even if he had to use this one last sword to win.

The red lights came on atop the cameras and the director pointed at him, he smiled.

“Friends – Citizens…Together we have weathered many storms.

Together we have fought for freedom – we have fought against tyranny and injustice.

And yet, there are now some who are persecuting us for one such action.

A short time ago our forces based in Sirik Island were deployed to stop a tragic set of circumstances.

Rightly or wrongly the Nation of Glemte Hage was accused of causing a genocide. Now, it is important that you understand Glemte Hage was not a world power – it was a poor and destitute nation.

The emporer switched off the remote and leaned back in the golden throne, he had been watching the presdent of Wolfish's message, Interesting The Emporer thought, He truend his chair so it faced away from the screen and to the large oval window that gave him a great view over the sprawling matropolis of Aust City. Snow was settling on the windowcill, even though it was June, but Aust city, like Aust itself was in the artic circle and so must brave the elements. The Admiral looked at the screen, a huge ship was slidding out of Wolfish's habour. It could do nothing against him he decided, he was in international waters. All he was doing was telling smaller ships to turn around and that Wolfish was under a state of blockade.

OCC: After going throw this in-depth RWC seems to be going out of its way to help a nation on its Offensive Campaign agents a Defensive Nation, Even after that RWC continues to now go after a Nation that is A. a NWO member, B. Now attacking Wolfish because of his Defensive Position.

I need descriptions and RPing around the turning back of ships - and realistically we have a lot of ports and there are only 2 carrier groups - AUST and Dump - anywhere near Wolfish right now. A dozen of the smaller Scorpion Missile Boats darted about, keeping a loose perimiter around the beast of a ship while subs lurked menacingly beneath the cold waves, few shafts of light pierced the dark gloom of the murky deeps that the submarines traversed with ease.

Zakia paced on The Sword and Shield's bridge, only stopping to hold the binoculars to his eyes, scanning the horizon for ships. Admiral Zakia knew he didn't need to do this, the radar on the lower decks could find the ships long before his eyes could even see the small specks that would appear on the horizon, the herald of the Dumpsterdam fleet.

As co-creator of the RWC, and a member of NWO, I ask that the RWC release it's blockade on Wolfish, a NWO member. Should the RWC persist it will not have the support of the Macabees.

With Wolfish attacks on the RWC the Macabee opinion was swayed to the RWC, and to this end the Macabees launched their best. Twenty Toledo class SSNs left Freemantia port, recently mobilized in the Sidi Rezegh submarine pen, and submerged to four hundred feet. The SSNs, travelling at thirty-six knots, would make it to the Wolfish fleet in about two (RP) days. Although cavitating because of the velocity traveling now, the Toledo was protected by a Anachoic Tile layer over the the wholly titanium frame, which made it's crush depth spectacularly deep, and made it very hard to kill. Each Toledo SSN also had something called MACCAVCON (MACabee CAVitation CONtrol) which absorbed the noise of the popping sounds of the screws and hulls, which was essentially cavitation. Each Toledo was armed with thirty MT-2 Super Cavitating torpedoes, as well as six Principe III anti-shipping missile launched MT-2 torpedoes.

The MT-2 was a wonderful torpedo. Using a NiAl superalloy as the screw and jet engine, it used a jet propulsion - like an underwater ramjet - to travel at 200knots. The Alumina Formula Nickel Based (NiAl) superalloy could deal with the oxydiation of the extreme speeds, and the light titanium frame, with steel reinforcements, allowed the torpedo to deal with the water pressure. Also, the water pressure was evenly distributed by the torpedo's more circular form. The SuCav was fast, but it was noisy, however, at a range of seventy kilometers it would only take about seven seconds to hit its target - seventy kilometers being its maximum range. The underwater ramjet part was first worked on by the Soviets and expanded by New Empire - after the Macabee witnessing of this technology they worked it into their own torpedoes also.

So, with this the Toledoes set out from Freemantia, slowly submerging into the cold waters of the Tiberian Sea. The screws slowly increased velocity, and the acceleration would soon push the velocity to thirty-six knots. Their mission? With the attacks on the RWC by Wolfish (before the blockade) the Macabee Empire was not happy, and they would show Wolfish not to mess with the Macabee's co-creation. Even if Wolfish was a technical ally.

IC: The Admiral slowly paced back and force on the bridge, calmly without the constant raising of his binoculars, he pulled out a pipe with intricate patterns of gold climbing up the stem, he fumbled in his grey pocket and came out with a small bag of Kriegos tobacco, he fumbled it into the pipe before pulling out a zippo lighter and setting the weed aflame.

"Sir, the Kriegorad fleet is making a run for it." The ensign pointed to his radar screen as he alerted the Grand Admiral who immediately stormed over to the screen as he cursed. "Cowards that they are! Notify Tallarn and get the fleet into defensive positions." Ulas snapped his head around to his second. "Mark, get to the control room and switch the FFA codes to 567.543.RISA." As the bridge crew was busy with relaying new coordinates and switching codes a flashing yellow warning light was ignored.

Captain McDarren was smiling as he noticed the fleet changing position more to the north. This would allow him more time to slip into Wolfish waters with his shipment of luxury goods and the navy would have nothing on him. He ordered his helm to change course slightly south and prepare for the 90 degree from the international shipping lanes and towards Wolfish national waters.

At 9.16 in the morning the freighter DNV ARSENAL from Dumpsterdam became a blockade runner by moving into the blockaded zone.

Commandeur Raditz looked disturbed at the yellow light as it went to her mind what was going on. It took her two steps to get to the overhead display and pull up the warning message.

YELLOW ALERT: DNV ARSENAL - SAILED INTO BLOCKADED ZONE - INMEDIAT ACTION REQUIRED.

Angelica Raditz stood nailed to the ground, this was not going to happen on her shift as he alerted the Grand Admiral. "Admiral, we have a blockade runner bearing on 564.676! His ETA to Wolfish national waters is 6 minutes."
Ulas looked in surprise as he noticed his error and signalled both the weapons officer and communication ensign. "Coms, tell them to turn back or face armed intervention! Weapons, I want the DRN Reranderas to lock its missile's on that freighter and stand ready to fire at my command." As soon as the orders where given both the men went to work as Ulas picked up a pair of binoculars and watched the silhouette of the freighter in the distance.

DNS ARSENAL

McDarren laughed as he read the message to his crew. "...turn around or we will use force." He couldn’t help laughing at their words, they actually thought they could stop him. Soon as the laughing had died down under his rag-tag crew he gave orders. "Berny, get the engines on full power and don't make any evasive manoeuvres just keep going." Several engineers in scruffy overalls slid down the hatches as he looked to his weapon crew. "Get the Boffors ready and remove the sail from the launcher." His Russian crew members ran to the launcher as the 30mm anti-aircraft guns where prepared.

Soon as everything was ready McDarren gave the orders for full ahead and thirty seconds after that he gave. orders to open fire on the Dumpsterdanian naval vessel’s. And with that command half a dozen Boeing Harpoon anti-ship missiles where released from their launcher's towards the blockading fleet.

The ensign nearly dropped off his chair. "Sir, anti ship missile's incoming fast! The DNV ARSENAL is firing on us!" He looked back over his shoulder to the Grand Admiral who had a grim look on his face. "Activate the Goal Keeper systems, engage electronic warfare suits and begin deploying countermeasures." Ulas stepped over to the grand holographic display and watched the six missile's closing with his flagship as the Goal Keeper systems opened up, sending a virtual hail of lead into the oncoming Harpoon missiles.
The ensign stood up from behind his radar screen and looked out of the bridge window, the white streaks of the four remaining missile's clearly visible; death incoming.

Ulas screamed a last order on the ship's comms. "All hands brace for impact!" The last thing he saw was a Blackhawk transport helicopter getting hit by one of the Harpoon's...

A klaxon began to sound aboard The Sword and Shield while red lights strobed the grey corridors, people ran to their posts, to and fro in the chaos of the crimson lights.

Aboard the bridge Udaloy II Class Guided Missile Destroyer, The Sacred Shield, a wall-mounted phone rang over 3 times, a Captain M'kolo swooped his arm and ripped it out of it's nest upon the grey plane, he listened for a few seconds before slamming it back into it's home.

"Empty missile tubes 2 delta, 3 delta at the target in the following vector..." Captain M'kolo yelled at the startled ensign, the young woman scrambled to a comms console and typed a message to the weapon's room.

Kirlos sat back in his chair, staring at the ceiling of the weapon's control room, a boring grey plane that threatened to consume him and drag him back home...a loud blip interrupted his reverie, the calm was shattered as a mallet going through glass.

Kirlos squinted his eyes at the computer screen, blue light illuminating the shadowed face of the weapons technician, he a gave a toothy grin, about time we get to blow something up!

2 Missile pods emptied themselves, Moskit SS-N-22 Sunburns leapt out of the tubes into the air, taking a dive as soon as they hit their peak height, descending for the best angle...a flawed judgement of the AI.

The first missile, swooped cleanly and exploded just short of the desperate boat...the second missile wasn't so fortunate, the missile did as it was said, it went in a straight line to the target, a usually flawless plan, because, if anything was in the way, the missile would change it's course appropriately and then resume it after the obstacle had been dodged. The plan wasn't flawless today, it flew in a straight line towards the ship.

The Moskit's guidance went haywire, a fuse blew and the AI failed, when it was on a course to come into contact with a Black Hawk lifting off the Dies Irae.

The Dumpsterdam Black Hawk exploded in a shower of flame and burnt out metal.

DRN Reranderas

Captain Sollies stood shocked as the Harpoon's struck the carrier below the flight deck and the bridge, black smoke billowing out of the lower decks as the last remaining pair of JackRabbits where lined up at the second catapults. The few minutes it took to launch them seemed like hours to the pilots and ground crews who desperately wanted to fight the fire.
Sollies didn't hesitate any longer. "Ready the Harpoon's, full salvo." The quad launchers bursted into action; eight Harpoon's being launched at the blockade runner as the Frigate stamped in the water to assume a lead position on the fleet. A mere twenty seconds later the missile's struck the DNV Arsenal below the waterline, on the bridge and blowing away its bow structure which came crashing down and took with it the bow.

DRN Dies Irae

Ulas pulled himself up to the map table, black smoke was had filled the room but was quickly being replaced by fresh air by the huge fans in the command centre. The bridge crew was largely unharmed but reports where coming in that the fire had reached the fuel and ammunition storage and fire crews where being dispatched to fight it from all sides.
Commandeur Raditz helped the Grand Admiral to his feet as she gave a status report. "One missile struck on the lower decks and into the aircraft hangars, another one crashed into the lower bridge section but didn't properly detonate, the third one is still on the first flight deck; it didn't explode because there was no warhead present and the fourth one was intercepted by a decoy; a full body tackle sir." Ulas coughed up some blood. "Send out a distress signal and start transferring the wounded, this ship could go down at any moment. And transfer command to the DRN Reranderas." The commandeur nodded. "Yes sir we'll get right on it, you just sit down and take it easy."

The few escorts of the carrier where unable to help, their decks to low and the seas to rough at the moment to transfer wounded. The Watch Commander hit the scramble button and klaxons began to sound around the base on Wolfhair Island as pilots and boat crews ran for their "rides"

The Commander flipped the radio on and picked up the microphone headset - "DRN Dies Irae - this is Wolfish Coastal Defense Op-Centre - do you require our assistance? Over."

Commandeur Raditz picked up the headset as the last of the smoke was cleared from the command centre. This is commander Raditz from the Royal Dumpsterdanian Navy, we have been attacked by an armed merchant vessle and have taken two direct hits from several Boeing Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
Fire is raging on the lower decks and we are currently struggeling to contain the fire near the oil and ammo storage's.

Our escorts are too small too be of much assistance and we still have three entire airwings of JackRabbit fighters in the air.

Any assistance from the nation of Wolfish will be highly apreciated, this blockade is over anyway.

A explosion outside shattered one of the bridge windows as Raditz ducked and braced herself against the map table, Ulas sitting next to her still not knowing what had happend.

Confirm that Dies Irae. Recommend you evac your air-crews and have them land at Wolfhair Naval Base - we'll clear a corridor and provide ground support.

Notify your fleet that Wolfish vessels and aircraft are approaching - we don't need a friendly fire situation.

Two SeaKnight Helos are enroute carrying fire-fighting equipment and crews - recommend that one our guys are off - you evac any non-essential crew on these craft....

We'll have three dedicated rescue ships on scene within an hour.

The first responders on scene were the SeaKnights – loaded down with fire-fighting crews – airborne medics and equipment – they first circled looking for the best place to set down.

“Yep.” was all the pilot said as he pulled up through the billowing black smoke, and set the bird down on the aft deck.

The crews jumped out and began unloading fire-fighting supplies – respirators – HALON extinguishers and the like.

“Jones – Markson – find the sick bay and get the most critically wounded up here for evac – Sampson – coordinate with the Damage Control commander and get our teams fighting these fires…”

In the distance through the smoke the Wolfish crews could see the second wave of Wolfish Helo’s inbound…further off, still out of view, were two coastal cutters – running their turbo-charged turbines at max, rushing to save someone who a few hours before threatened their nation’s welfare.

The poor woman cowered under his rage, she typed a message which a hunched back, like everyone else on the bridge, who were pretending they hadn't noticed anything.
