How is this different than the M-16? The stats are JUST ALIKE from the M-16A2.

How is this different than the M-16? The stats are JUST ALIKE from the M-16A2.Weight: 3.85 kg or 8.5 pounds M16=3.77 kg
Magazine capacity: 30-round standard clip (Can take MANY different things)
Range: 1,600m (5,249 Feet) M16=550 meters
Barrel Length: 431.8 mm or 17 in. M16=508 mm
Overall length: 850mm or 33.4 In. M16=1006 mm
Mode: Automatic to Semi-Auto with the flick of a switch M16=NO the m16 can not do that
Caliber: 5.56 Nato
Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt
Rate of fire: 850-900 (RPM) rounds per minute M16=800 rounds per minute
As you can see this gun is much better than the M16 and the XM8. Also the M16 does not come with a scope.

1) so the gun's heavier even though its shorter? How's that work
2) You're thinking max effective range, not max range. The M16's max range according to the Marine Corps/Army manual is 1800 meters.
3) How can it be better accuracy wise if it is a shorter barrel?
4) The M16A2 has a conversion for full auto. It is commonly known as the M4 carbine, but it is the same gun minus one feature
5) Again, the Military manual states that the M16 in three round burst mode can reach 900 rounds/min and I've seen trigger fingers that blow thru a 30 mag on semi in 2 seconds flat (I've done it before...not that hard really)

Report from our military MPs:

The M-22 Military/Law Enforcement Assault Rifle is like a dream for many of the testers, it was accurate in short bursts on semi-auto, however on auto its when the problems began to show. The rate of fire, which was only matched after rigging it up to a belt of ammo. The firing speed causes so much heat to build up that burn marks and broken parts have cause many of the guns to become inoperationable. The kick-back from the weapon can easily cause bruises and cause some serious stress on the users. While it may be able to reach the firing speed indiciated in under the conditions which we ran it a sustained firing at this speed was dangerous to the user and damaged the weapon. However the semi-automatic mode is a perfect mixture of accuracy and kick-back. The scope is basically useless unless you want to line up for a nice shot at an unsuspecting target, but the scope (you never specified its magification) in excess of several thousand meters proves increasingly inaccurate so that the rounds will land in up to 7 yards away from the scopes indicated target. The barrel is also unnessarily large for it, if you make a new model add a single-shot mode and a more accurate scope and a smoother inside of the barrel (for the cost they were good enough, but it could be better) as to increase the speed and accuracy of the model, a better distribution of the force, cushion or a wider area to it be dispersed will greatly reduce the recoil and harshness on the user in automatic mode. A potentionally strong weapon with a great design to begin with could easily be modeled into a next-generation gun for military troops.

(next time you might wanna post what they are made out of, I had guessed that it was steel and titanium for most of it. Great design though)

We currently wish to order an additional 200,000 guns to protect our troops and cargo trucks from enemy attacks, the gun's fast rate of fire makes it a personal favorite of many of our troops. The total comes to $400,000,000 to be wired upon confirmation.

The main draw was the semi-automatic mode which has become a favorite for the troops.
