Sephrioth. I suggest that you take some time out from Space and military, and concentrate on running a nice little earth nation for a while. It'l work wonders for your RP skills.

Another fantastic sugestion: Visit your local library and borrow some sci-fi books. anything star wars would be good. Take a good long few weeks reading, and I'm sure you'll learn more about Role playing. Also, there are a number of sites you can visit that will teach you about the technical data of starships. a star wars or star trek technical manual would do you some good.

follow this advice, and who knows? you may be able to post long, productive threads that earn you praise.

My biggest ship is like, 30km long, and it's a great colony ship with a military refit. And I have 1. Of course, my next ships is almost as big, if only half as long, and I have only one of those, soon to be two...

The size of your fighters is way too big. If you look at their size compared to the people getting into them in the SW movies, you'll notice that they're moer like less than 15 m
