REAL Socialists (which I would consider myself) believe that capitalism is evil. Capitalism (no matter who controls it) will always become corrupted, and in turn perpetuate an elitist bureacracy. Then this bureacracy will manipulate the proletariat. Once the people control the government (and the means of production), and the government controls everything, you have harmony. This only works if you avoid totalitarianism and adopt pacific ideals.
