Ratheian scientists succeed in developing limited plasma-stealth technology!
Today in Ratheia a single SU-47 fighter was cloaked from radar completely by it's plasma stealth covering that has been recently developed and utilized by Ratheia Air Force Technologies. There have been numerous problems with the technology and many more yet to be unraveled. The plasma blocks all radar waves but has the unintended effect of not allowing radar from the aircrafts nose to lock on to enemy targets. Another problem is that radio communications cannot break through the barrier leaving the craft in strict radio silence until the generator is deactivated. Ratheian Air Force officials have been quoted saying that this technology is currently not adapted for use by fighters but will probably have a role in Ratheia's next generation bomber: The Kalev KE-100
The bomber is to be faster than Ratheia's current TU-160 and as stealthy as the B-2 Bomber if not more. Development costs are running a bit high for the gov't at this time. No comment as of yet from the governemnt about the new bomber.
