OOC: This is to call nations to help restore Democracy.

IC:

On the date of November 20, a small band of militia (approximately 40,000 men) left the city of Austin. The militia was directed by former President Jarrod Branam, in order to restore the nation to righteous Democracy.

The revolutionaries marched towards the capital, Shelbin, gaining more support along the way. Dictator Harkinson had seen the beginning of the movement, and had prepared the Security Forces in Shelbin to be ready for attack. By the time the militia had reached Shelbin, its numbers had grown to well over 800,000.

The small army approached the glorious city, this had been planned to be a non-violent offense, a large demonstration was the main goal, and the hope to persuade the government to relinquish its dictatorial control over the nation. However, Harkinson had something else planned. The protestors moved into the city, and were swiftly engaged in combat. The ill-equipped militia was no match for the well-trained Jarridian military, and a total of 725,876 men died in the skirmish. The militia had no clue what awaited them in Shelbin, and the peaceful protest had turned into a blood bath, leaving thousands of protestors dead, along with Jarridian civilians in Shelbin.

Former President Jarrod Branam sends a telegram to ViZion and other allies, asking for aid in ending the onslaught against the Jarridian people:

"I come to you, not only as a former friend and national leader, but as a civilian in Jarridia, pleading for your help. The dictatorial government of Jarridia has been plotting against you, and they cannot be trusted. They have supported terrorism, namely that of Angelic Freedom, and they have committed acts of Genocide, especially in the east. Most murdered were people from Utcheer and Smithsilian. Please send help in removing this atrocious government, before they are able to enact their plans against you."

Harkinson has activated the full extent of the Jarridian Military. All cities and towns are on full lockdown, and no one is allowed outside between the hours of 6 p.m and 6 a.m. Harkinson has also placed a blockade in the water surrounding our land.

This was the scene in one of the rooms under the Capital building. The government ordered that we gain access to Jarridia's television networks, thus being able to control what the Jarridians see.

Within hours, the Jarridians would be hearing from ViZion.

I see that you are sending approx 11 million ground forces against Harkinson.
We do not at this point know the full strength of the Jarridian army, but I was thinking that if you attack from the north and east, we will attack from the south and west.

We can have 4 landings of 600,000 armored troopers from Black Shadows and Raavenii in place in 24-36 hours.

Also, 3400 MBT's of various designations are being air-dropped in approx 18 hours.

FireBases will be set up on the beach-heads, and MASH units will be established as needed.

Beofre the initail invasion on our part however, i think it may be wise to airdrop wepons and special operation units to train and arm verious rebels and militias in Jarridia, it could take some of the burden off our troop and give the jarridians a sense of pride knowing they helped bring about the revolution as well, not just foriegn powers.

Excuse me, Mr. Dictator, but if ANYONE is familiar with Jarridia, it's Xeraph. Xeraph has helped Jarridia more than once in it's battles to remain a sovreign nation. It is unfortunate that one such as this Harkinson has gained the upper hand.

We will NOT stand down. You don't have a clue as to the force you will come up against. The Xeraphian Federation, the Federated Suns, GAPTS, AXE, and ViZion and IT'S allies will squash as if yo were a NOOB.

President Branham, if yo wish, we can end this quickly and decisivley with tactical nuclear weapons.......missiles that are "smart" enough to take out an area as small as 2 city blocks. Fallout will be minimal, due to the relativley small warhead.

If WMD are not acceptable, it might take a little longer, but you, Mr. President, well remember Xeraph's "quick-strike" capabilities.

Please let us know how and when you want these vermin destroyed.

If I were you, I would wait until we were with in 2 hours of attacking Jarridia. At that time, you can launch your attack, and we will be there to back you up in the air.

1 hour later, the navy will begin bombardment, and 4 hours later, the groung attack will commence.

Air and Naval will soften up the enemy, then all of our ground troops can finish him off

ViZion's forces have begun leaving ViZion now, heading for Jarridia. We will land in Terronian territory and off Jarridia's coast to begin bombardment.

This'll take 1-2 RL hrs.

Xeraphian CBG's arriving off coast of Jarridia.

Battleships and Destroyers are aligning for coordinated firing/bombardment.

Subs are patrolling coastal waters for signs of Jarridian naval resistence.

Carriers and Battle Carriers are deploying for highest effective fighter launch sequence.

Breaking news, it appears that our nation will be of the frontliones in the recent Revolutionary war in Jarridia, as we speak, our glorious forces are preparing to invade thru the Jarridian/Terronian Border. The Invincable Aeger Nval Fleet is being sent out to assist Xeraph Navy in bombartment of key Military Fortifications along the coast. Now we go live to Field Reporter Richmond Vazerez

The men behind me are part of the 36th Infantry Battalion aka the Rice Warriors. I will be folowing the Battalion throughout the conflict. Even in these late hours, sounds of skirmishes can be heard coming from the nation, possibly revolutionary resistance and aircraft tracers and engines can be heard. All Battleships are coordinating bombardment of coast of Jarridia. Bombardment has been on-going for approx 1 hour, will conclude in 1 hour.

Missile ships have launched 6 waves of Tomahawk and FastHawk Missiles at mid-size Jarridian cities, 47 missiles each wave.

Subs have yet to contact any enemy naval vessals.

IceStorm, JFK, and Yekaterin Carriers in palce and awaiting orders to scramble fighters.

JUST IN: 16 B10-A Python Bombers, along with 16 B-2, 16 B-3, and 22 Alpha/Omega Bombers have lifted off from Terronian and ViZionian soil.
ETA to Jarridian inner cities: 1.5 hours.

Bombers are being escorted/supported by 92 F-18 Hornet fighters.

An aide rushed in. "Sire, there's a THING over the center of Jarridia."

"A blackish, greyish cloud hovering over the capitol of Jarridia. No explanation, Sire....it's just hanging there."

The chill that ran up Alaric's spine spoke volumes.................

Zambuda: if you don't mind, please align yourself to attack th northern area of Jarridia. Xeraph is attacking the southern portion, Terronia is attacking the western portion, and ViZIon is attacking the eastern part.

We are already bombarding the Jarridian coast, and Xeraph has launched cruise missiles towards the mid-size Jarridian cities.

AirForce will soon scramble to strike Jarridian capitol.

Alaric was frantic....he had to get his navy and airforce away from the country of Jarridia. Thank God the troops hadn't landed yet.

He remembered in a rush of memory where he had last seen that cloud.................over the capitol of that evil Empire, Koth. He had defeated Koth, and was now in posession of the great land-mass. But the cost had been monstrous.

Three of the four nations of the region of Carpaythia had been wiped out by the Black Cloud. 7.3 million citizens of the Vampyric Nations............gone, in a silent blast, in less than 60 seconds. Only Vklan survived...but by the skin of their teeth. 80% of the Vklan population died in that silent blast.

Only a direct attack on the source of the Cloud had prevented it from destroying all of southern Xeraph, and it's out-lying islands.

The source had been a sorcerer of Koth...Xothun, of ancient Mu.

Forces have amassed themselves along the coasts and borders of Jarridia. There has been an increase in all forces within the mountains surrounding the capital. We will not allow you to walk in, and we are poised to make a strike against Terronian should it not withdraw its support. If it may be, we will activate our nuclear weapons and the Urien 3 Project.

The city of Westwood lay quietly on the coast. The wind blew slightly, but the night had been still. The streets glistened with light, and on top of the center hill, the Governmental Centers of the WWA could be seen. Suddenly, the sky lit up as missiles filled the sky. Explosions could be seen all around the city, and the Earth shook underneath the increasing pressure.

Within the borders of ViZion, the Jarridian base suddenly came to life. The air force within its walls was activated and quickly took flight. Their destination was to strike ViZion City, and thus make a swift, and deadly attack upon ViZIonarian Citizens.

The King was a little too late with his warning. Seventeen warships and 63 aircraft disappeared in just a few seconds. Most of the XF Forces had managed to pull outof the attack, but these didn't make it. The Black Cloud descended upon the attackers, and they were no more.

"I'll have to make the same kind of attack as I did on the Kothite sorcerors...........a few good warriors in stealth mode. I hope our allies got out in time."

Alaric suddenly knew where he had seen the black cloud before. "All units, break off attack, repeat, break off attack!!!!!!! Get out of there! NOW!"

Alaric was frantic....he had to get his navy and airforce away from the country of Jarridia. Thank God the troops hadn't landed yet.

He remembered in a rush of memory where he had last seen that cloud.................over the capitol of that evil Empire, Koth. He had defeated Koth, and was now in posession of the great land-mass. But the cost had been monstrous.

Three of the four nations of the region of Carpaythia had been wiped out by the Black Cloud. 7.3 million citizens of the Vampyric Nations............gone, in a silent blast, in less than 60 seconds. Only Vklan survived...but by the skin of their teeth. 80% of the Vklan population died in that silent blast.

Only a direct attack on the source of the Cloud had prevented it from destroying all of southern Xeraph, and it's out-lying islands.

The source had been a sorcerer of Koth...Xothun, of ancient Mu.

This is Richmond Vazarez here, at 11:01 Terronian Central Time, the Army has finally launched a massive ground campaign on the Jarridians. Some of the army is staying back in Terronian to meet with the ViZions. As you can see I am in a transport right now and we are quickly moving. If you listen slightly, firefights can be heard in the distance and small lights and explosians can bee seen and heard from what appear to be both Terronian and Jarridian launched missiles. Entering Jarridia was easy enough, as we ecountered minimal resistance. Oh! If you look out over towards the left, those are Jarridian rebels, we have armed them with weapons and they are assisting us in our plot to overthrow.....*Huge explosian"..woah! Amazing sized explosian of the right side, possibly an air fuel bomb. Anyway the officer in charge of screening my broadcast is allerting me, we are entering etreme hostil terrirtory and must ceese broadcast, back to you guys.

Terronia, just to clear things up, it's always more interesting to add an unknown entity to a given situation. It usually has the effect of uniting many against a common enemy, in this case a situation involving sorcery. It has worked well in many of my past posts.
All of the nations currently now have the opportunity to sharpen their writing skills, and, as stated, make the thread more interesting.
Unfortunately, right now I'm about to head to Texas, then Florida. I will not be able to post for several days. The stratagy I've used in the past is to attack the source of the sorcery, while simultaneously conducting the regular offensive.
BTW, I always wind up winning against sorcery, usually at great cost, and then going on to win the initial war.

The Commander then procceded to walk into the phone booth, looking as pale as a ghost.

"Listen up men, The General wants us to stay the course, we cant go fighting something we have no clue what the hell it is, plus considering Xeraph and ViZIon have more knowledge of this...thing, we will continue the offensive unless somethjing shows or tells us otherwise.

OOC: Ok, I'm early in the morning and I'm really tired, so, sorry, this post is gonna be short and crappy... I'll post later when I'm more away...

IC: On their way to Jarridia, they started getting reports of some massive... thing... hovering over Jarridia. "Sir, it's been confirmed, there's some kind of mutant clowd over Jarridia, eating everything up. Thank God weren't not there." Orders have been made for 95% of our forces to stay out of Jarridia until further notice.

Josh Harkinson silently spoke to a man in his office. The man was shrouded in darkness, and his voice had an eerie tone.

"I thank you for your assitance. With your help we can repeal the invading forces."

The eerie voice spoke up, "We have fought against the likes of Xeraph before, and we shall help you prevail. Your grand leadership will not end, you shall remain dictator of Jarridia!"

"Yes, and together we will not only rule the WWA, but the whole world will soon feel our wrath."

The two men laughed menacingly and toasted a glass of Jarridian wine.

As of now Jarridia is activating the full extent of the SJDI. The Jarridian Military calls upon Utcheer and Smithsilian to come to our aid and remove these treacherous people from our lands. Also, as the leader of the WWA, I ask that all WWA nations come to our aid, and that Terronian faces expulsion if they do not end there attacks against us. If no WWA nations will willingly come to our aid, then we shall make an Executive Order to use the full scope of the WWA Military Force.

In an underground bunker within the city of Austin, Jarrod Branam sat quietly awaiting news from ViZion and Xeraph. He remember the kind words of his old friends, and was glad to see them come to his aid in his time of need, and of Jarridia's. He had recieved word of the dark cloud over Shelbin, and worried about his people. He did not want to see harm befall the citizens of Jarridia, or of the military, but he knew it was inevitable. Jarridia must return to democracy, or the nation will choke.

The King sat, pondering his options.

"I must act quickly and decisivly and quickly," he thought. "This Black Cloud can be defeated, as we have done it before. I know it must be the Kothite remnant behind it."

An idea struck him.........and for the first time, he smiled...........

If you two will commence your attack on the Harkinson govt, you will find that the Black Cloud will be of no consequence. We will take care of it at its source.

At 0300 hours, the first missile struck.

At 6 minute intervals, the missiles continued to strike the area surrounding the Castle H'rik Benel, source of the Black Cloud.

At 0400 hours, the first wave of Rattlesnake fighters began cutting down the Kothite rebels and their Wolfen allies. The second wave pretty much finished them off, and the third wave mopped up.

The battle to restore Pres. Branham could now commence.

As the reports of the destruction of the source of the Black Cloud began to filter in, the XF Royal Airforce began airstrikes against the fortifications surrounding the capitol of Jarridia.

The first of the Armored Troopers began landing on the coast, and established FireBases 1 through 6, at 2 mile intervals.

A squadron of BlackHawk HCGS's began their patrol-coverage of the MASH units being set up by the nationals of Spider Death, and the MBT's from Raavenii began deploy across a broad front, pushing their way through the defenses of Jarridia, not without loss.

Reports were coming in of the attacks upon fortifications in the mountains. Nearly 2,000 Jarridian men had fallen in the short beginning of this war. Harkinson sat quietly, then said ,"We will not surrender until my blood runs cold!"

Many Jarridian units and infrastructure had been severly damaged, but more was on the way. Production had been stepped up, and factories poured out war machines continuously.

Jarridia awaits the response of its allies, especially those in the SJDI.

President Branam was pleased by the reaction of his allies to his just cause. He knew it would not be long until Jarridia would return to the secure and politically free democratic state. The rebels had gained ground, setting up Austin as a temporary capital until Shelbin could be captured. The rebellion had turned into more of a Civil War. Jarridia had been split into two factions, those supporting the democratic way of life, who owed allegiance to the Jarridian flag and to Jarrod Branam, and then those who supported Harkinson and the other leaders in Shelbin. The fighting was brutal in the frontlines, both sides were proud of their causes, and both would fight until the bitter end.

Terronian forces are pushing Dictatorial jarridian Troops father inland from the border. Radio signals have been sent out all on Jarridian Airways asking for all enemy soldiers to drop there weapons and surrender as well as asking the former president to meet up with the terronian army for protection and assitance. The Terronian forces are attempting to push to and seige Shelbin until allie forces arrives.

It was time at Omega Beach, Delta Beach, and C Beach men poured ashore while a full coordinated assault of over 250 cruise missles destroyed defensive placements around the landing zones. All carrier groups have gone to full alert and bombing will now begin on a 24 hour basis. Infantry will be the first to land while Tanks will follow when beachheads are secured.

ViZion's forces, which have been cut in half due to another war we are committed to, have begun landing.

Nearly 80,000 various types of tanks, hummers, and Styker's have landed on allied soil, and are preparing to enter Jarridian territory shortly. They are accomanied by over 1,000 various helicopters and over 3,000 jets. Over 5 million soldiers are also going to be entering Jarridia at the same time. Thirty blackbird spy planes have begun taking off out of allied bases to start scanning Jarridian hostile forces.

Bombings are being prepared against Jarridian military locations.

The ViZion forces are immediatly greeted by various Terronian High Command Officers as well as the Grand Duchy Dimitri Tabolov. Crowds line the streets to show there appreciation to the ViZIon forces. The rest of the Terronian focres commited to the war will be desployed with the ViZions to go and reinforce Terronian positions in Jarridia.

As you can see, those are inded ViZion forces behind me. The mounting pressure of the outside forces began making the generals nervous. The allies Jarridia had requested for aid, failed to reply in good faith, and refused to come to Jarridia's dire aid. There was no longer a question that Jarridia would lose the war, and many were feeling that the military should give in, rather that take heavy casualties from the increasing numbers of invaders.

Josh Harkinson continued to force Jarridian troops into battle. More and more men filled the bunkers around Shelbin, and more and more men died trying to save the country. The morale had faded into a dim beacon far off. The men grew weary of the thought of losing, and many factions on the outside of the mountains had already dropped their weapons.

The military began to turn against the dictator, they yearned for the days with President Branam led them with respect and dignity. The days when democracy ruled the land, and honesty and pride owned over all. They wanted the President back, they wanted an end to this tyranny once and for all. The military turned its back on the dictator, and instead...opened the way for foreign troops to Shelbin. It was time to oust Harkinson.

The ViZionarian troops were just entering Jarridia, and was the Jarridian forces at the borders open up to allied forces. Within moments, they found out what was happening. At that, ViZionarian forces began heading towards Jarridians military, holding up Jarridian and ViZionarian flags together. This was to show that ViZionarian forces were friends of Jarridia. It was time to fight together again, this time, to help Jarridia take its own nation back over.

Due to the return of Acigoo, the forces that have just arrived are leaving for the second time.
