Well, about time I got this started. Thias is where you will roleplay your discovery, conflicts, relations, and such. HOWEVER, if you wish to get in a war, and bring in your mother country, then you must make a seperate war thread. Other than that, have a good day.

[Oh, and no bumps from anyone else in the game, we can do the bumps ourselves. But if you have some suggestions or comments, you can post them here. (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=369295)

The Govonor looked out his window as the colony was completed. There was just a small comunity of just 10,000 people, all spread out. There were also just 3,000 regular soldiers, the rest being militia, which was drilling on the green. 10 naval vessels were docked in the harbar with trading vessels as well. An airport was on the very tip of the colony with a military airstrip was in the wilderness. There was one small Catholic church in every town. A large one was in Easterville, the colonies capital. He was enjoying life here, in this very pleasant colony.

Caerusia was not a very large nation; indeed, it was surrounded by land masses far larger in comparison. However, to its part, it was united by a firmly rooted and common morality and culture, which its population of perhaps seventy thousand shared.

Jordan Chandler, previous ruler and newly appointed Chancellor of Caerusia, was dressed in khakis in a makeshift straw residence on one of the southern beaches of Caerusia Major, accompanied by his closest friends and advisorees. With him was a Zoogiedom diplomatic team, headed by Martin Cunctos, who had been long and close friends with Chandler.

They had gathered to sign the appropriate documents that would officially tie together Zoogiedom and Caerusia as protector and protectorate. After an hour of small talk and informal socializing, both men signed the papers.

'This is a great day for my country,' declared a jubilant Chandler afterwards.

It was agreed that, given the tensions between the Buechorian and Hogsweatian conflict that surrounded them, a few elements of the Zoogiedom armed forces would immediately be deployed to the region to ensure that no harm came to Caerusia. A carrier battle group and an even smaller unit of the marines are due to arrive in several days.

Alejandro smiled, as he entered the city of Tyriiola. Grand and quaint at the same time, it smelled of the honeysuckle which lay upon the gates of the city. Walking down the main street of the city, Taylor Avenue, Alejandro noted the splendind yellow bricks that made up the road, and the feeling of "old-times" that was prevalent, such as the Colonial style housing, and the way the streets were set up. He walked over to a large, white stucco building at the end of the street. Opening the door, he tipped his white coloured hat and walked in.

Smiling, his secretary turned towards him. "Good day, governor."

He nodded back. "Ah, bueno dias, senorita. How is it going for you?"

She blushed. "Ah, very good, sir."

Alejandro smiled himself, and walked into his office. Sitting down in the bamboo chair, he opened his laptop and began to type.

To The Hogsweatian Government

Hello, I am writing this from Lethislavania's Colony on New Grace. I was wondering - Would you be interested in having a delegate come over here to talk diplomatic relations with?

Colonial governor Pennie Dickson-Holloway looked out at the land that would be the joint claim of Sarzonia and Praetonia. She examined the reports of people coming from Praetonia and she wondered aloud what to do with the influx of people.

"How is this joint colonization going to work," she asked her partner Candace Holloway-Dickson. "Surely there would be some logistical issues if both countries tried to run it?"

"That may be, but I think the Parliaments are going to settle it nicely," Candace replied. "Our countries get along very well so I'm sure there'd be few issues."

"That's about the only thing that's got me wondering how this would work," Pennie said. "We've already decided the colony's name will be Neo Praezonia. The only question is how it will be divided."

"That question remains -- or even if it will be divided."

"I'm sure it will. But who gets the better share of the colony?"

Pennie's cell phone began to ring. She picked it up.

"Yes?"

"Hi Pennie, it's Josh."

"Josh! How are you?"

"I'm well. You?"

"Just great. Listen, any word on Parliament's solution to the colonization issue?"

"Our governments have already agreed to split the colony into two parts: A Praetonian part and a Sarzonian part."

"Wow, how did you manage that?"

"It was wicked easy."

Pennie laughed. Even though it had been several generations since anyone was in the former New England states, that phrase never left the northern Sarzonians, of whom Williams was one.

"It was?"

"We came to the agreement in about 10 minutes."

Pennie smiled. She realized it shouldn't have been a surprise how quickly the agreement came about. Besides all the alliances the two countries were jointly in, Praetonia was one of the very closest allies that Sarzonia had. Prime Minister Sarius Publius was given access to Sarzonian secrets that previously was available only to Isselmere-Nieland Prime Minister Oliver Yardmouth. The two countries built a long-standing bond on the battlefield and culturally, so even if the colony were jointly administrated, there likely would have been little distinction.

"Governor, when can you have the first city constructed," Williams asked.

"Looks like it will be done in about two weeks," Pennie said.

"Great. Let me know how it's going."

"Thanks."

She wondered if Publius had her cell phone number. She was sure he'd want reports on the Sarzonian half of Neo Praezonia.

Athens, Greece

“Sir our satellites detect a new continent not yet colonized by other nations!”

“Let me see.”

The command checked the screen and saw a map of the continent.

“You see that island there.” He pointed at the island 9. “We should colonize it. Send a message to the Emperor Nikolaos immediately!”

“Yes sir.”

To: Nikolaos the Great
From: SHIA Center

Emperor we have discovered a new continent not yet colonized by other nations. But they will soon find it too. If we hurry we will be able to colonize a very good island. Here is the map of the continent. The island marked 9 is the one we should colonize.
-Lazaris III, Chief of SHIA

Nikolaos read the message and took one long pause to think about it. He then started typing up a reply.

To: Lazaris III
From: Nikolaos

I will authorize the colonization.
-Nikolaos, Emperor of Greece

Ten ships have been heading toward the continent, New Grace, to colonize one of its islands.

Artemis Island, New Grace

It has been decided that the island that will be colonized under the banner of Greece will be called Artemis Island, name after Nikolaos’s daughter, Artemis. The ten ships docked at suitable place so the ships can easily get out after. The workers and soldiers immediately went to work unloading the cargo. Soldiers on jeeps went drove through the jungles to explore and scout. Some workers went and set up tents which will server as a temporary command base and others went straight ahead to building trenches that will server as a temporary defense. Architects where planning the area where each building will be built. Once they drew up plans they presented it to the General. He decided which ones he want to go with and ordered to go straight away to start building.

A Jeep came back and parked near the General’s tent. A soldier came out of it and went inside.

“Sir our reports tell us there are natives habiting this island. From our intel they are about 200 natives only.”

“Catch them and enslave them. Those who resist shoot them.”

“Yes sir.”

He went back to the jeep and issued orders to the rest of the soldiers out exploring. He then started the jeep’s engine again and went to do what the General ordered.

The bodies of the dead where burned to hide any traces of genocide that happened on the island. 60,000 civilians came to the city to start a new life there. The slaves where doing all the construction but civilians helped too if they where short of man power. Once the construction of the city was finished and it has a big enough population more cities will be made.
