Decisive Action
01-11-2004, 07:35
The new game SuperPower 2, it is a fairly decent game, very accurate in its information... It starts in 2001... My idea is this.
Somewhere between 2004-2008, a massive Arab Israeli War erupts, the sides will be obvious, Israel vs the arab states (at the very least, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon), possibly include Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco in the grand anti-israeli coalition.
Possibly American forces deploy to defend their ally in the middle east, perhaps America already has forces in Iraq from the invasion of 2003, if they decided to go ahead with it. Perhaps American forces in Saudi Arabia topple the government and setup puppets (or perhaps you think the royals already are American puppets?) Perhaps the monarchies of the gulf have already been toppled by religious clerics and the Gulf is a Sunni version of the Iranian theocracy...
Perhaps Russia sees this as her chance to reclaim the old republics of the now defunct USSR and she invades Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and the "stans" of Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, etc) to reclaim the old lands and attempt to rebuild her might.
Perhaps China seizes the opportunity with the USA stretched thin and she invades Taiwan... Perhaps possible US deployments to defend Israel have stripped the defenses of South Korea... North Korea grows tired of the South and invades.
This is a big "you decide" deal, the only thing I ask is that the Arab-Israeli war start somewhere between 2004-2008 and that at least Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan take part in the Arab Coalition... They will have to attempt to win over other arab nations to help them. Perhaps if Saddam is still in Iraq, he will provide material and maybe even armed support...
You decide....
