A simple message spreads quickly across the world's information networks - websites, television ads, radio, newspapers - announcing an upcomming event: the Convention of the Ars Hermetica. To most the message means nothing, but to a few, it's a summon. A summon to all of those of a like mind, those followers of the Hermetic Arts. Interested parties find that the originator of the message is the government of a small, relatively new country known as the Empire of The Royal Art - referring to the Art of Alchemy, it would seem upon investigation. At any rate, the message asks any who would find it in their interest to come together as students of the Thrice-Great to respond to the summons... but it does not give a location, insisting that there be a show of interest before the Convention's location is announced. The message invariably ends with a single sentence:

Ave Hermetica!
