This afternoon, at approximately 2:14 p.m., a fascist parade taking place in Zarbia City was interrupted by Communist rebels, turning into a shootout between the insurgents and Zarbian police.

The parade had been announced a week ago to celebrate a new program in Zarbia. According to this program, all male Zarbian children would be shipped off to military training as soon as they turned twelve years old to be taught discipline and how to defend their homeland.

At 1:56 p.m., a troop of fascist youth began marching in honour of Zarbkrieg* Borin Trotzig. The massive audience watched as the young fascists finished their march and saluted their leader.

Suddenly, gunfire was heard in the crowd and a large group of soldiers rushed into the area, emptying magazine upon magazine on the crowd. Trotzig's personal guard rushed him into safety and the local police garrison was called in. After police and a counter-terrorism unit stormed the area, the rebels evacuated, defeated.

On the uniforms of the enemy bodies recovered was the hammer and sickle, the universal sign of communism.

In Zarbia, the home of fascism, these actions struck anger into the hearts of every political figure...

I recommend that you do not execute all Communists. Instead, show them that you will do far worse. Round up all Communists and gather them in camps. Strip them of clothing and don't feed them anything but stale, worm-encrusted bread and dirty water. Make them suffer and make them wish they were in the eternal fires of Hell.

Then kill them.

A message to all:

It is my contention (upon reflection) that the dissidents responsible for the aforementioned atrocities were not communists at all. Communists adopt a renowned pacific mentality, utilizing ballots-not bullets. Those responsible might feign socialistic political idealogies, in fact they are simply mountebanks. The intention of this message is to prevent an unneccessary massacre of truly benevolent communists in the name of one immense falsity.
Having made my opinion entirely pronounced I will add one more thing. Any nation that further subjects its communist constituency to torture/imprisonment/execution as a result of the aforestated event will be penalized militaristically or economically.

A special elite Polizia* task force to uncover and destroy the Communist threat has been formed. Codenamed the "Commie Killers" in honour of the late and great Jeof Danz**, the operatives have already begun their investigation, breaking into homes and shops to find the source of the attacks.

*For those not in the know, the Polizia are the Zarbian secret police. They have been used in previous civil wars.

**In the 1st Zarbian civil war, Danz was the leader of the anti-communist soldiers in the city.
