In Breaking News today, Ramisslian President Brenden Statton announced that the leading Uranium Mining company, Canterbury Killers, would have sovreign control over the colony of Sicily. Although he did not say why, the President hinted that it may be to form a powerfull allience. Canterbury Killers CEO Mark Dellob recently stated that "A powerfull allience is the first step towards world domination." Although the statment may sound strange, the comment came may have came from the monopoly CK has been trying to make on the market. However, leftest sceptics believe that Canterbury Killers actually wants to take over the world. They were, of course, jailed immediatly by the Ramissilian goverment. I'm George Blitzal, RNN News.

A civilian helicopter rose over the Syracusian hill. The chop of the blades woke up the entire neighborhood, which mostly consisted of small villas. Until now, Sicily had been almost untouched by Ramissle after the takeover. Income tax had been revoked, and new laws limiting drug use and marrige had been put in place, but that did not bother the Sicilians. Being feirce Catholics, gay marrige was not an issue, and drug use was limited anyways. The Sicilians had been informed of the new shift in power, and were only a little mad about it. The four percent increase from zero was ok, since when the deSivanti family was in power the taxes were crippling. The chopper landed on top of the hill next to an office building. A strange site indeed, a 30 story building in rural Sicily. But that is where Dellob wanted it. The building was buitfull, really. A marvel of engineering. It had blue glass, a tall spire, and arches all around the sides. Although it was not well known, the building was not the headquarter of CK, but the Capitol Building. It was obvious just from looking at the building that Canterbury Killers would be ruled in a buisiness like maner.

In a large room in one of the bunkers in Easy green a group of defence ministers and top generals meet with the president.

President: "Ok people whats going on here"

IC: Marine division one, Wing 1, and Defense Group Alpha began their movment to Sicilian soil, preparing for anything. President Statton made this decision almost immediatly after a Drum Gods Helicopter Squadren was spotted off the coast of Sicily.

OOC: Give the mission a bit of time to get going! The helicopters won't be that quick. If you don't know anything about me I could give you a brief lowdown because I've basically lost my factbook.

But anyways, I will wait more time for everything else. I was kinda bored and wanted this to get going, which it shouldn't because I do have to leave in an hour. And I do not know much about your nation, as I believe you went inactive for a while at the time of my first nation.

OOC: OK well just so you know I am a January 2003 Nation that has a philosophy of Profit through Expansion hence the large and advanced modern tech army. Part of the GDODAD and the RWC and Allied to Metus. That's a very brief rundown.

The Alpha Defence Group was inching its way up the Nile. They were now up to the 3rd Cateract. Wing 1 had already reached Sicily. Marine Division One was spread out between being airlifted and going on the Defence Group.
Brendon met with his advisors. He asked them if peace was at all possible. All answers led to a big fat "no". He then got on the phone. "President J.L.! How good to speak to you again! How is the misses? Oh, great. Hey, we are sort of kinda really about to be attacked by Drum Gods. Think you could lend a hand? You can? Great. I'll talk to you later." Statton hung up, got up, and poured a glass of scotch. This is gonna be a hard one he thought.

OOC: For those who do not know, President J.L. is the leader of Roach-Busters.

The two helicopter squadrons approached the Sicilian western coast their rotors chattering and the armaments loaded. Each squadron was comprised of 18 Imperial Gunships meanwhile in the 28 DG-18 Multi-Role Jets and 16 G-Wing Fighters shadowed the helicopters. Down below on the sea 4 IDG Battleships, 8 Destroyers, 9 Cruisers, 6 Aircraft Intercepters and 38 Silver Lupinas approached.

"All groups prepare for battle. We are not authorised to make the first move yet."

OOC: Silver Lupinas are small, very fast underwater vessels that go around in groups like piranhas taking out enemy naval craft hence why there tend to be so many.

The Austian troops filed into there positions to protect the beaches of Sicily. They waited for there allies to arrive.

The Naval fleet waited off the coast watching the proceedings while their complementary air squadron surveyed the scene.

Mark Dellob paced in his office. It had been 4 days since he had last talked to the President. At that very moment, Brendon showed up on screen.
"Ok, I got a plan. Look at this map. Ok, the RB Troops are the blue, we are the green, and Aust is red. Drum Gods is purple. Ok, our troops will surround Syracuse. RB troops under our control will be behind us, and the Aust troops will take up front. We are expecting a coastal bombardment, followed by beach head warfare, so create some bunkers, and set up artilliary along the hills, conceled of course. I suggest you set up a draft, as this should prove to be a very long battle." The screen went black. Mark began to pace again, for about a half hour. He then called his Defence advisor. They discussed plans for awhile, and then decided that a 10% draft should go into effect. After a couple days, Mark annoucend the draft. Over 510,000 Sicilian men and women reported for training. Half the draftees began to build bunkers around Syracuse, and around Floridia.

As the naval ships held their position orders came in to initiate an initial attack after the 'phoenix rises'.

Overhead the Hypersonic H-A Bombers flew at their high altitudes attempting to avoid any major detection:

"Alpha squadron prepare to engage the defences that should appear green upon your screens....*kerch*......initial payout should cause maximum possible damage to cripple the beach head....*kerch*.....do not engage Aust....*kerch*."

Within minutes a flurry of cluster bombs and Smart Cruise Missiles were fired upon the beach defences. Two of the bombers in fact dropped graphite bombs in order to try and cripple electrical communication devices in the area.

Meanwhile at sea:

"Sir, I believe the Phoenix has risen,"exclaimed the Technical Officer to the General as in the distance he saw the flames of the first aerial bombardment.

"Release our initial wave,"boomed the General in the background.

A wave of Tomahawk and Swarm Missiles were seen being deployed into the air from the ships. 20 Swarm missiles were fired in total which in fact meant that 100 arrived at the actual destination.

"Sit back and enjoy the show officer,"smiled the General.

[ A single swarm missile splits up into five smaller missiles and spreads out over a larger area a couple of seconds after it is released so that they are harder to intercept and cover a greater area of devastation.]

OOC: I take it you do not mind the map.

Private Seri stood at the bunker. He gazed out, just taking in the Sicilian beauty. His home in Ramissle was nothing like this. Then he saw something in the distance. "What is that?" he said, as he noticed a bomber. Suddenly, he relized what it was, and notified his capitan. "SHIT! MAN THE FLAK CANNONS!"
But by then of course, it was too late. The entire bunker had been torn apart by the initial bombing. A direct hit. The other 9 bunkers were mostly fine. Minor damage caused by the swarm missles, but nothing serious to the greater amount. 2 bunkers were also hit hard, and were now without a roof. Syracuse was hit badly. Four of the docks were hit, along with 3 major govermental buildings including the mayors office. Half the city was out of power.
The Floridia artiliary were notified of the attack, and were ordered to man their flak guns. They also readied their artilliary.

Meanwhile, Ramissilian ships were ordered to arm their missiles, cannons, and jets. They began to move to a flanking position behind the DB ships.
OOC: These bunkers are like the ones on the initial level in Medal Of Honer, if your wondering.

(OOC: Sorry. By the way how do you know your population? Just forget about my other RP)

IC: General Markus Foley has decided to send some 50,000 Troops to Sicily. And one of the country's two aircraft carriers. With the planes from the Carrier they will be able to bomb some places in Sicily.

After that General Foley now has to choose who to send. Definetly the 5,000 members of The Elite Companies. There are 50 elite companies. So he went on to choose and alert everyone.

Sargent Robert Knowles, strooled along the beach watching the Drum Gods missiles roar overhead. A Private ran up to him, asking for permission to return fire, Knowles shook his head. "No, we have orders not to. They arn't aimed at us," he smiled, "Where going to have some work to do today, but not at who you think."

The Hypersonic H-A Fighters moved away from their area mostly unscathed. Considering the speed and the altitude they were flying at they were confident of their safety. They could tell that the flak cannons were pummeling the air in their general direction but by then they had already moved back towards the sea.
They could see enemy naval ships moving out:

"Engage Breaker Missiles,"came the short but sweet reply.

Almost instantly then a group of missiles were fired to meet each of the main naval warcraft.

[A Breaker missile moves at high speed so that it ends up not hitting the targetted ship itself but the point where the ship makes contact with the water. The explosion of course rips a whole in the ship but creates the effect of lifting the ship out of the water due to the angle that it is hit at]

The Silver Lupinas meanwhile quickly came into action. Hard to detect they moved in a pack of 10 underwater appearing underneath the enemy ships and like a pack of piranhas they struck each firing a single torpedo underneath the enemy naval ship. They went for the biggest warcraft they could get first. It was a feeding frenzy for the Lupinas.

In the distance the helicopter squadrons joined the action and fired volleys of high impact rockets at the beach head defences while their Heavy Mini-guns chattered at enemy entrenchments.

"Austian forces we request that you come into action within the next ten to fifteen minutes against the enemy forces."

An aircraft carrier moved thru the shimmering ocean waters. There was alot of hustle and bustle on the ship. It was surrounded by a bunch of submarines and boats carrying soldiers (The ones used in D Day) One of the boats landed and the men and women jumped out. Once on land they found themselves in a small town. It was a bunch of crops and farms. One man threw a grenade into a crop field it exploded and started burning the crops. The other units went their ways searching for people. They raided the house, banks and shops. They had killed 6 civillians. They had gotten the mayor and taken him as a hostage and they moved on.

The aircraft carrier stopped in the middle of the ocean and 2 B-2s started and flew away. 5 B-1s flew away behind them. They were going to bomb government buildings.

The Sea Archers let loose a hail of heavy fire, the missles whistiling in the air. Heading straight towereds the DG armada, most of them were aimed at the missle cruisers.

On the beach head, the men were preparing for an assault with the Flak cannons pointed in the air.

OOC: After these forces are gone, I will not be sending any more. I am currently getting a complete rebuild of my militiary, and I am facing attack in the Ramissilian Homeland.

General McPowhill has ordered a full retreat from Sicily. All Roach-Busters soldiers and equipment has been ordered back to RB. (You will be pleased to know they met no combat, only Sicilian soldiers did) Airforces in Sicily will be flown back to Brendon Statton Militiary Airbase. All naval ships will be sent back to the Nile, to the Ramissle Refit/Refuel station, were surviving ships will be refit.

OOC: Thanks to Aust, I have never finished a war. Well, this time it was a combantion of Drum Gods lack of showing up and my massive rebuild campain, but still its all your fault Aust! :)
