In response to the sudden increase in the avalibleity of Cat meat and the rather steep decline in costs we have opened a chain of Cat related resturaunts. So far most citizens seem to agree that "Cat>Chicken".
Cat has been found to contain more essential vitamins and minerals than Chicken, as well as being lower in saturated fat.
Naturaly, we do not condone the sensless slaughter of the feline species', we just want to make some money off of it. If you have a problem with our cultures profiteering nature, please take it up with whatever God(s) you think created this planet and life on it. Were sure they can reach a sensible agreement with ours and everybody will be happy.

Official Imperial Statement

You will stop killing cats now or the Imperium will launch an invasion. Either that or we'll ignore you. Oh, and this is a pointless thread. And have a nice day. Or something.

We are not killing cats, we are purchasing the corpses from those who are and putting them to good use.
After all, the market is flooded with cheap meat, and most of our population isnt too particular about the state of the food they eat. Those that are can afford chicken.
What is this 'thread' you speak of?
