I don't know. Some of this is in character, some of it is out of character rant, but I am sick and tired of all of it. All alliances are alliances are officially ended, with the exception of the New World Order, as I believe in the experience of Dr_Twist and the purity of Imported ViZion. If you are a now former ally, you may request a new alliance here if you wish, but do not expect a shiny new yes result just because you bothered to apply. And Parthia, I am out to get you most of all, so one of these days, watch out, because I will strike. And I am sick of the crappy posts and the numberwanking. I am sick of people like Hataria, because it is people like him with posts like his that caused us to have to swith servers to begin with. Of course, I like the Jolt server, but I am just making a point. In addition, Grenval will be preparing for war like no other, if you cross the line, we will stop you. Diplomacy first, but you shall learn to fear the might of the pure and just. So mostly, take from this the all alliances, except the New World Order, are over, done with, terminated. And watch out, because the fight for righteousness is about to begin!

And now, I shall rant some more. There are a few new threads, like cat executions, and okay, interesting idea, but what the hell!? Anyways, Grenval is not going to involve itself in crap like that, nor in threads where the nations clearly wish to be left alone. But if you are a real nation, as in a nation who actually know how to role play, and you just invade some random country and start pillaging, Grenval will intervene. That is the sort of thing I am talking about, and that is what I am sick and tired of.

OOC: Im really glad someone said that about the cat execution. I became complacent and went along with it, but II really needs to come back down to Earth, and we need to get rid of all the group alliances. That is my opinion anyway.

Agreed. The million alliances here are making RPing so godawfully difficult. "Who's allied with him? Who's allie is he? He ignores him in alliance B while we're both member of alliance A..." There are only a few old and successful alliances that have a certain impact on the game and those are named RBA, NATO, NWO and RWC. The rest might as well stop existing since those are either copies of the four mentioned or serve no real purpose. What's the big deal? An alliance to protect our members? An alliance to protect democracy around the world? An alliance to promote prosperity? An alliance to stop communism? An alliance to stop capitalism? What a bull. What a load of nonsense.

Perhaps the best alliance is NATO. NWO has a chance, but I am slowly losing faith in that. RWC is perhaps the most disgusting alliance I have ever heard of, despite the many respectable members. I know very little of RBA and RF, because of my absence. More alliances need to operate like NATO, you know, actually rejecting nations...

Alliances happen because people like to have those they can call upon in times of need. It's part of how people are.

You don't have to RP space. A logical thing to do is ignore it if you don't like it.

A) Might as well. It's one of the few places where you can find something new and places to explore. My nation is out there mainly because it allows me to get away from the craziness of the Earths when I want to. I'm not even on an Earth at all.

B) Actually, there are not enough. At this time, NS has enough nations to covered at least 30 Earths and enough people to fill half the Milky Way. And I'm not exaggerating either. The problem is, realistically or even in the semi-realism that dominates NS, one Earth simply cannot accomidate all of these nations.

C) Wrong. Most rip of Star Trek, not Star Wars. Also, most of them use different sci-fi shows and books as basis. The ones I have seen so far are Warhammer 40K, StarGate (modern tech with ability to travel through wormholes to other planets), Farscape, Shadowrun (I use this a bit myself), Star Trek, Star Wars, Andromeda, Ringworld, Halo, and a few I have not seen before. Top it all off, there are quite a few, including myself, that mesh different styles together and, in some cases, create new stuff for themselves.

The Empire is displeased with the Grenvali government's decision, to say the least. Apparently your deceit was clever enough to make the Empire believe our alliance was strong. We will not forget this betrayal.

We are most displeased with Grenval's severance of relations. We are prepared to cut all diplomatic relations.

AH, excuse me, but those of you who are at least 10 months old will remember ARM...an alliance made up of approx 90 nations, which was dissolved in favor of an alliance between the Xeraphian Federation and the Federated Suns, currently known as GAPTS.

GAPTS has grown to the point that now a new alliance is needed. We again have approx 100 nations involved in GAPTS, and are looking to form a "mega alliance" on the order of NWO, but without all the political wrangling. Xeraph and it's region were once part of NWO, but withdrew when the arguing and fighting grew stupid and tiresome. The FedSuns and Crossman went with us, as did a number of single nations.

As a matter of fact, I was just talking to Viz about it. How about it, gentlemen.....feel like combining forces in a new alliance?

I don't know how big NWO is at present, but GAPTS is huge.

Again, if my memory serves me right, Grenval is allied to Xeraph in some manner. I seem to remember Grenval posting a request for allies, and Xeraph offered to help the fledgling nation.

Grenval is not much of a threat....why worry about him attacking when there are enough allied nations to stop him in his tracks?
