History of Haiti’s Political Parties and Nominees
With the Haitian elections coming up the parties in Haiti have already choosen the nominees.The stances are what the parties told the election board the candidates believe in.Believe it or not but, no seven candidates have military experience!Here is some of the parties history and their nominees.The Haitian National Polling Assoc. did not select the issues they polled Haitians to see what is the most important issue in this election.If you would like to make an endorsement or ask questions please do so.The elections will be held after the debates and who knows how many campaign ads.So let's get ready for a exciting election!

FRANCIS RESIGNED 6-10-80
NO NEW LIBERAL PARTY CANDIDATE YET

Liberal Party: The Liberal Party was founded on April 10, 2008 by Alex Desoto who was the head general for the democratic army in the war between 2004-2008.He had much support from his soldiers and the soldiers’ family. He was very much respected in the U.N. too. Alex Desoto signed the Haitian bill of rights and the constitution on Aril 8, 2008. He wanted to decided to run for president the next day and was selected by the U.N. selection board on April 9, 2008. He chose his cabinet and had his other shares of supporters. Unlike many generals he was very liberal and founded the Liberal Party the very next day after being selected to run. He and his party ran against Francis Martique who founded the conservative party on April 30, 2008. He and Martique had a tight race together. Unfortunately for the Liberal Party Martique was elected president with winning the popular vote 55% to 45%. Also he won the Electoral College vote which was no surprise considering Martique had a ten pt. lead on DeSoto. The Liberal Party never gained full control of congress until 2040. A Liberal Party president was not elected until 2044. The Liberal Party had control of the executive office and congress from 2044 until this very day. The Liberal Party has always had a good reputation on the economy.

Born: March 8, 2023
Occupation: President of Haiti Served 4 Year Term So Far
College Achievements: Bachelors degree in math, science, political science, and world history
Past Occupations: Fast Food Restraunt Worker, Mayor of Port au Prince for 2 four year terms, Southern State Representative of the West Side Port au Prince for 2 four year terms, State Senator of South Southern State for one 4 year term, West Side Port au Prince State Head Government Representative for one 4 year term, and Head Government Southern State Senator for one 4 year term
Stances:
Major issues according to Haitian National Polling Association:
Jobs: Will raise taxes on rich ($150,000-above) and keep taxes the same on middle and lower class.
Education: Will ask congress to pass a law that all children are required to have education.
Crime: Will make a governmental project to crack down on identity thieves.
A.I., Gays, Lesbians, and Mutants: Made it a constitutional right on March 8, 2078 that A.I., mutants, gays, and lesbians get the same amount of rights as regular citizens do.
Abortion: Pro-Choice

Conservative Party: The Conservative Party was founded on April 30, 2008. The Party’s founder, Francis Martique ran for president against the Liberal Party’s founder who was a major investor in Haiti, Alex Desoto. Francis Martique won the election and served two terms. The Conservative Party remained in power in the executive and congress position until 2040. The Liberal Party took control of congress in 2040 and in 2044 the Liberal Party took control of congress. There hasn’t been a year since when the Conservative Party has had control over congress or the executive office. The Conservative Party has always had a good reputation on the military.

Occupation: Governor of the Southern State Served one 4 year term so far
College Achievements: Bachelors degree in science, math, world history, social studies, and political science
Past Occupations: Fast Food Restraunt Worker, Mayor of Port au Prince for one four year term, Southern State Representative for East Side Port au Prince for one 4 year term, and State Senator of Western Southern State for one 4 year term
Stances:
Major issues according to Haitian National Polling Association:
Jobs: Will cut taxes tremendously on people making $40,000 and below. Will raise taxes on rich ($300,000-above) by 30%. Will lower taxes a little bit on the middle class.
Education: Will cut taxes on families that have a child by 30%.
Crime: Will spend an extra $2.0 billion on law enforcement and will pay that sum by cutting special interest programs.
A.I., Gays, Lesbians, and Mutants: Against all rights for A.I., Gays, Lesbians, and Mutants.
Abortion: Against all abortion operations except if it involves raping or the mother’s health.

Green Party: The Green Party was founded on Jan. 9, 2012 by Jean Daniels who was an environmentalist who ran for president but, only got 7% of the vote in that election. The party has never had full control of congress or the executive office. However it has always had a seat in congress. The Green Party has always has always had a good reputation on the environment.

Born: Feb. 9, 2041
Occupation: Head Government Senator of the Northern State
College Achievements: Bachelors degree in science, environment, and math
Past Occupations: Environmentalist, Northern State Representative for Nord-Quest district for one 4 year term, Northern State Senator for Northwestern Northern State for one 4 year term, and Governor of Northern State for one 4 year term
Stances:
Major issues according to Haitian National Polling Association:
Jobs: Will cut taxes on middle and lower class. Will raise taxes on corporations who run on fossil fuels and the rich ($150,000-above) who do the same. Will raise taxes at a lower percentage rate on those who do not use fossil fuels.
Education: Will cut on military spending and use that money for education
Crime: Will cut on military spending and use that money for law enforcement.
A.I., Gays, Lesbians, and Mutants: Favors consitutional amendment
Abortion: Pro-Choice

Saints Party: The Saints Party was founded by a Roman Catholic priest named Marquis Lafitte on March 17, 2017. He ran for president in the 2020 election and lost with only getting 5% of the vote. The Saints Party has only had on seat in congress and that was in 2020-2024. The Saints Party has never been in the executive office. The Saints Party has no reputation. The Saints Party is generally running to make Haiti a full Roman Catholic state.

Nominee: Martin Natafie
Born: June 6, 2000
Occupation: Retired spiritual advisor for presidents from 2036-2072
College Achievements: None
Past Occupations: Priest apprentice in Vatican City

Jobs: Will cut taxes by 50% for all.
Education: Will cut military spending by 10% for education programs to teach Roman Catholicism.
Crime: Will kill all who commit a crime.

Abortion: Against all operations of abortion.

People’s Party: The People’s Party was founded on April10, 2013. The founder was Paul Ladner who was a social worker. He ran for president in the 2016 election and got 13% of the vote. The People’s Party has always had at least a single seat in congress from 2016 till now. The People’s Party has never been in the executive office. The People’s Party has always had a good reputation with healthcare.

Born: Jan. 17, 2028
Occupation: Head government representative of Western Southern State
College Achievements: Bachelors degree in science, political science, social studies, and literature
Past Occupations: Social Worker, Southern State representative for Bainet for two 4 year terms, Southern State senator for South Southern State for two 4 year terms, and governor of Southern State for two 4 year terms

Major issues according to Haitian National Polling Association:
Jobs: Will cut taxes by 30% for middle and lower class ($0-150,000) and raise taxes by 30% for the rich ($150,000-above).
Education: Will cut military spending by 15% to pay for new school programs that teach students about sex, how to maintain a relationship, money, etc.
Crime: Will increase the serving time for any crime by half of what it is now.

Socialist Party: The Socialist Party was founded on March 8, 2013 by Francis Marquis who was a major investor in Haiti. He ran for president in the 2016 election and got 9% of the vote. The Socialist Party has never been in the executive office. The Socialist Party has always had a single seat in congress from 2016 till now. The Socialist Party has always had a good reputation on the economy.

Natural Law Party: The Natural Law Party was founded on July 17, 2023. The Natural Law Party’s founder James Lean a nudist ran for president in the 2024 and only got 0.1% of the vote. The Natural Law Party has never been in the executive office or in congress. The Natural Law Party has no reputation. The Natural Law Party is generally running to make Haiti a full anarchy with unlimited freedom.

Hello, I'm Samuel Garrison and I've just recieved some late breaking news. The former president and vice president have called all of the presidential candidates that they have conceded. All of the candidates have already been at rallies thanking them for their duty for their country and their campaign. Now the liberal party has do a dirty job, pick the presidential candidate. The interim president, Aaron Crest is the man who is picking the presidential candidate. The four candidates that he said can go up against each other are; head government Southern State senator Dan Meisure, head government Southern State senator Charles Chime, retired major general of the military Samuel Adams, and former president of Haiti Derian LaSallen. Our political experts Samuel Boone, Abagail Maple, Adam Adams, and Charles Kingston have chosen who they think we'll be the top contender for the liberal party. Samuel Boone, Abagail Maplem and Adam Adams chose former president Derian LaSallen as the top contender. Charles Kingston chose Charles Chime as the top contender. Samuel why do you think LaSallen is the top contender?

Samuel Boone: LaSallen had a very high approval rating and most people think he had a great administration. People would love to see him come back. He lowered unemployment, the crime rate, you name it, and most likely he has done it.

Samuel Garrison: Abagail why do you think LaSallen is the top contender?

Abagail Maple: I agree with what Boone said and also LaSallen is a very recgonizable name in Haiti and people will understand him more because he's been president. Also he tends to have a reputation for being a grandfather type of guy.

Samuel Garrison: Adam why do you think LaSallen is the top contender?

Adam Adams: I agree with what Mrs. Maple and Mr. Boone said. LaSallen also has a reputation for being like your next door neighbor too. He is just the type of guy you kind of know.

Samuel Garrison: Charles why did you chose Chime as the top contender?

Charles Kingston: Chime is representing a state that is mixed between conservative and liberals; and he has been able to easily cooperate with conservatives. I don't disagree with Samuel, Adam, and Abagail about LaSallen being the things they said he was; but people don't stay the same they change.

OOC: I didn't feel like writing the whole debate..Anyway Adam, Sam, and Abagail persuaded Charles to chose LaSallen as the top contender.

Aaron Crest was the previous commander-in-cheif of the military and will go back to that position on July 11, 2080 when he choses the candidate for the liberal party.

James Jamison: I am saddened of the death of Jacques Francis and Nathaniel Marquis. and I'm sure many of you are. No one can deny that they did lead this country. They were good leaders.

All of Haiti including me is mourning on the second day of the suicides. I ask for your help in praying for them. We know they are in a better place now.

Marcus Soto: Today is a day we shall mourn for two great leaders that lead this wonderful country. The leaders we're always making us smile and always will be. We shall always remember for their sacrifices. We shall always remember the great things they have done. We shall always remember their persistence. We shall always remember their toughness in hard times. We shall always remember Jacques Francis and Nathaniel Marquis.

Derian LaSallen: Jacques Francis and Nathaniel Marquis are names we shall always remember. They had done great things throughout Haiti. They listened to Haitians, cared about Haitians, never gave up, always stayed on course, and most of all being a Haitian themselves. Two great leaders have perished and two great leaders they shall remain.

but most importantly they served our country. Their legacy is however not over, because they shall always remain in our hearts.

Cassandra Aguilar: I as many others am mourning of the death of Jacques Francis and Nathaniel Marquis. I ask for your help in prayer for them. They were great leaders that made bold descions such as make it a constitutional amendment that robots, mutants, lesbians, and gays are treated as humans which has brought much tension. Two bold leaders are now gone, but they will always be everywhere in Haiti. They will be on our memorials, street signs, history books, and most importantly our hearts.

Now is a time of a need of unity and ask for everyone to set aside their differences; and unite. United we stand, divided we fall.
