This is the history of the country of Niktovo.

The Armed Republic of Niktovo is a tiny, economically powerful nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
The small government devotes most of its attentions to Social Welfare, with areas such as Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9%. A substantial private sector is led by the Retail industry, followed by Beef-Based Agriculture and Pizza Delivery.
Crime is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Niktovo's national animal is the cow, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the dollar.
Chapter 1; The Beginning
It began in the Southern Atlantic. Jonothan Niklas sighted land on the horizon of his Crewv boat, and immediately knew that his destiny was here. He and his crew of five hundred settlers set foot on the land and named it Niktovo after Jonothan. They sent news to the motherland of Pentova of the land and asked for aid in the form of settlers. It was answered by millions of people moving to the land.
Chapter 2; Opression
From the year 27 and onward, relations with the motherland went sour after Pentova passed an ordinance stating that all Niktovan children be shipped to the motherland for education and conscription. The Niktovan Movement is thought to have started during this time.
Chapter 3; War with the Motherland
In the Niktovan year 29, TNM declared war on the motherland for freedom, and the rest of the nation followed quickly. The Pentovans, having little military, quickly fought a few forays with the rebels, and gave in to the demands. They have cut all relations with Niktovo since.
Chapter 4; Modernization
The Armed Republic of Niktovo entered the global stage in the year 31, when it recieved a WMD from the nation of Fruity Loops for R&D. The country has recently announced it's arrival in an official message to the world. This is where the story ends so far. At the Niktovan year of 31. Thanks for reading.
