After several months of viewing and reviewing the proposals made by the Artitsan government, the people of the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps had come to an agreement over the counter-offer to be made to the Artitsans... it wasn't much, just basics ways which they could get out of the Non-aggression Pact should there be a issue. Roughly some of the alterations were:

Firstly they had altered the wording so that if allies were under threat from Artitsa, or visa-versa, warning would be made to state that the NAP would become void should the threat be carried out as the obligation to allies would come first.

However, should his allies threaten Artitsa, or visa versa, assistance would not be offered and the allies would be warned that Iuthia cannot assisted them due to a NAP agreement. This could be over-written should the circumstance be great enough, though written warnings would first be given in advance to Artitsa if this was the case. Generally it would be concidered bad form should either nation have to do this.

Secondly, given a circumstance where Artitsa and Iuthia are in a situation where they are supporting opposite sides in a international incident not involving their allies they should either both pull out of military support for their side or come to an aggreement which keeps the NAP in effect.

Thirdly, the NAP will be re-newed and revised ever ten years or every change of regime in order to rienforce the impression that both nations are still following it.

In order to review and perhaps sign the Non-aggression pact, Artitsan diplomats are invited to Iuthia Prima where they may talk to Iuthian officials or take the NAP documentation home for additional ammendments before bringing the subject back up for agreement.

Message to Iuthian:

Vladimir Overdanski has expressed interest in personally travelling to Iuthia Prima. However, he is currently at a APTO conference for three days, but once he returns, we will make plans to fly over to Iuthia Prima for a signing. Thank you,

Boris.
