Well, here's an outline of my nations history.

Britian took over Hong Kong after the Opium War for 99 years. After those 99 years of Britian prospering off of Hong Kong, China had it, and now, China prospers off of Hong Kong. But recently, about five years after China took control of us, we seceded and fought a number of battles until China finally accepted our new nation on the coast of its own nation (impressive that the Mighty China accepts our small prospering nation).

So that's the summary of my nation's creation, and now, I will declare my borders with a map.

Our government is currently an Empire but we are not an agressive nation, but we wish to be a World Economic Power. The military district our GDP goes to is defense. Also, our nation has muchly increased spending on our economy and the neccessities for our people.

(By the way, I am The Japanese People but currently I am and will work with this nation although The Japanese People will stay my first major nation and this my second, or I might make this my first major nation and TJP my second. So basically, I have experience on this forum and I'm not a 'noob.')


The Nation of --Hong--Kong-- would also like to trade with any nation that is willing to. Although we have established trade with nearly every nation. (I made a thread about --Hong--Kong-- wanting to open Economic Ties and I got many replies through posts and telegrams.)

Never thought of it actually but I put my name as "The Empire of --Hong--Kong--" so it's an empire.

But Empire meaning that I'm not going to become a military nation and take over other nations/lands to become an imperial power but I want to become a World Economic Power instead of an aggressive nation.

Would you be Interested in joining the Democratic Union of Asia.
You would just need to guaruntee the representation of the Hongkong people in your administration, in some form of council. Being that your aim is to become a great economic power, this could be a cadre of esteemed buisnessmen. The Democratic Union of Asia includes the nations of Greater Beijing, Shandong-Jiangsu and Zhejiang. And we are all members of the International Fleet - a consortium of joint aerospace and space exploration, and international defense initiatives currently 12 nations strong.

We would be honored to do buisness with the new Hong Kong Administration.

OOC: No doubt some wankers will come in and whine about how you don't own Hong Kong because they OMG claimed it first on [insert world number here] however personally I would ignore those people for having a closed mind.

In my opinion your nation looks, sounds and almost is the real Hong Kong. However due to the fact that real life nations don't exist in my mind your nation is just a nation called Hong Kong which isn't affiliated with any nation claims... if you understand what I mean. Basically I don't like real life nation claims because people start wars over others who just want to have their nations map the same as a real life one... which makes sense.

We thank you for reconizing our borders (OCC - I know what you mean, but I wanted to RP as China, but more specifically, as Hong Kong, so I made Hong Kong a nation.)

We thank Greater Beijing too for they reconize our nation although they are China and we also thank them for inderictly protecting our nation.

Interested in joining the International Fleet - the minimal terms are that you agree not to develope an armed branch of your defense forces in space, that you use space for purely economic and scientific purposes, and that you allow a small tax on your GDP goto the International Fleet currently 7.5% - in turn youd fall under the protection of the IF Defense initiative, a well funded international defense force with global reach, you'd have the right to lay down proposals, resolutions, and initiatives to the Council of the IF at [ http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=366377 = link to the SECIF] and you'd have access to all International Fleet Space assets for Research and Development and to augment your Research University System.

The Nation of --Hong--Kong-- would love to, but we are not accepting anymore military bases, we already have three established on the coast of the Hong Kong Island. The three bases are owned by Mislokivia, Praetonia and Vestern States.

not even an air base :-P we'll pay taxes on the base if nessary we wish to open a lot of relations with your new nation.

"We are just making sure we take the right steps for our nation so we can lead it to eternal prosperity," said another Delegate, Xixi Yao.

*Ivan lays the papers down in front of the table in front of Yang* "oh these, these are just making it official that there is Peace between our two nations, and that we cannot attack each other, I just need you to sign at the bottem here." *points to a part of the paper and with his other hand gets out a golden ink pen and sits it on the table beside the paper* "i can understand if you have to ask your leader first before signing this."

"Oh, alright, we will sign these papers, but you are correct, we must ask our Majesty, please wait a moment," said and asked Yang.

-Yang got up and went through a beautifully aranged door where he first got in his knees and bowed and then knocked. The Emperor's closest advisor opened the door and asked him what was the matter. Yang told him and the Advisor told Yang to accept their offer and sign the papers-

-Yang came back and sat back down agreeing to Mislokivia's offer and signed the papers on behalf of the Emperor-

"We are very much happy to establish peace between your nation and we hope this lasts for a very long time," said Yang cheerfully.

Welcome to the International Fleet - We would like your permission to build an International Aerospaceport at Hoi Ha - we can allocate a maximum of 32 bln to aquire the territory east of the city - but would like the freedom to be able to develope the area as we see fit with minimal bueracracy and taxation.
We believe the development we have planed for this area will boost the overall economy of Hong Kong - within 10 years you will be on the map as a key launch site for science and commercial space programs if you agree.
