The Christian Patriot Party of Nathanite is petitioning the Parliment to pass a bill that would Ban Abortion in all forms. They are the majority party, and th bill will probably pass. The major opposition comes from the Christian Democrctic Socialist Party and The Communist Bloc. Although they are vastly outnumbered by the CPPN and the other conservative party the Conservative Republican Party.

As a firm believer in life, I believe that Nathanite should create an indefinate ammendment to their laws that bans all forms of abortion. If a woman is raped even, they should give birth to the child, then either keep it, or give it up for adoption. -- Reichsfuhrer Hannibal Lecter MD

This is an issue that is up to the government of Nathanite. Abortion is a very delicate issue with convincing arguments existing on both sides. It is thus that the government of New Genoa have come to a conclusion that abortion is not an issue that should be decided by the government. Abortion will occur if it is illegal, anyway; at least if it is legal, the mother has a viable chance to receive an abortion and not kill herself trying to give herself an abortion.

Abortion is a woman's right, and therefore Tenarius strongly recommends that you let it remain legal. We also agree with the Island of Rose, keep people making intelligent decisions about whether or not they should have a baby, to keep abortions low. That way you don't have morons getting pregnant repeatadly and sucking away money from the government in order to keep having abortions.

Abortion will occur if it is illegal, anywaySo will murder, theft, and most if not all other illegal actions. Shall we legalize theft? It'll be a lot safer to steal when the owner of the item you are stealing, and the police, have no legal right to stop you. Perhaps abortion is theft -- of life.
