OOC: The following is IC for all shareholders in MierTech - they are listed here for reference. Anyone else must take this entire thread as OOC as this refers to upcoming vehicles for MierTech.

Type A shareholders may put forward ideas for MierTech to use. Type B shareholders will not have the same power, though if anything important is asked then it will be added.

Shareholders - All hold at least Type A

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen for coming here tonight. Here we will discuss future projects that MierTech will be completing, plus any new directions we may be taking soon. The first thing to do is to welcome you all again, as this is the first shareholders meeting for MierTech since releasing stock on the market. Now on to the good stuff.

We're planning to introduce our civilian lines into international attention gradually, starting with our passenger airliners:"

PX-801 medium range passenger airliner
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/aircraft/images/7e7-pic01.jpg
The PX-801 is a new, super efficient passenger liner, that will allow aircraft owners to transport passengers much more easily, and with less costs. Incorporating some military systems, these allow for easier control, in the case of PHBVS and CACS, plus the inclusion of the PDCS allows for better defense against terrorists armed with AA missiles. And with the Deity system, owners can follow their aircraft at all times, and ensure safety.

PX-801 long range passenger airliner

AS part of the civilian aircraft range, a long range liner was required. This was the result of weeks of brainstorming. Including civilianised versions of military systems, with the same benefits as the PX-801.

"As you can see, we have quite a line up coming soon. Along with the PX-E4 going into production very soon, we also are showing our latest dog-fighter - the PX-E5 'Anubis' fighter. Here are the specifications, though as of yet the actual fighter is to remain under close wraps until its official release:"

PX-E5 ‘Anubis’ fighter project
With various advances in technology by Phoenixius, MierTech thought it necessary to go ahead and build a prototype fighter that utilises all these various technologies. This project would also act as a conduit for these technologies to be implemented into production fighters.

Utilising the mission adaptive aileron technology, a swing-wing design was put forward, using the electronic muscles to swing the wing back an forth through 45º. This will allow the Anubis to use the forward swept wing to good effect in slow moving dog fights, and then sweep back for increased speed.

There is no need for a rudder, as 3D thrust vectoring takes the job, as well as allowing for VTOL abilities. Internal weapon bays can hold 6 missiles, while 2 more may be carried externally – this is to keep the stealth characteristic of the aircraft relatively intact. The onboard computer can control the VTOL engines and the MAA wings to give the best performance all the time. The cannards are also controlled y the MAA technology, allowing the aircraft to have the best shape for the current time. This means that as the Anubis changes speeds and direction, it changes almost organically, creating something that is amazing to watch.

Control for 2 UAV’s is also possible, done through giving basic orders, which the computers then elaborate on. The power generated by the engines allows the aircraft to climb almost vertically, all the way up to its celing.

"A very nice fighter, I think you'll agree. And to finalise our plans for the future, we're planning on creating 2 new bombers, one conventional, the other not quite so. And for the far future we have plans for new small arms, new naval vessels and plenty more.

Any questions?"

All four planes look great. Our only question as of yet remains:

When do they come out? ;)

They all look and sound great; now on question about the "Anubis" fighter, do you have a general idea of how much this will cost?

"The civilian aircraft should be coming out shortly - these specifications are pretty much the final thing, with only a few classifcation options left to put in. I'd say within the next year or so. AS for the Anubis fighter, its estimated at around $100mil for the moment, though that may change - its deadline is close, but still far away."

All planes sound very good and well-designed, especially the Anubis.
