Introducing, the Smartgun Weapons Enhancement System.
The Smartgun is a special system designed to improve the accuracy of firearms on the battlefield, hopefully reducing the waste of bullets and firepower. This works by combining a special set of sensors with fiber-optic cables running from the gun to a special set of goggles the soldiers are wearing, displaying either a dot or a set of targetting crosshairs in the vision of the soldier that represents where the gun is aiming. Current tests show this system to improve firing efficiency and help limit ammunition waste.
There are two versions of the smartgun system. One is an external version, which mounts on the barrel of the gun and can be exchanged to other guns, and the other is an internal version, which is currently unavailable. The goggles themselves in no way impede vision and a version included in sunglasses is currently being worked on. Note: The external version can increase the weight of the gun up to one kilo, depending on the size of the gun, while the price remains the same for most versions.
Please note a special gun involving the internal version of the Smartgun system is in development and will be ready after a year for production.
