Viking Yak Herders

"Huut, hut, hai! Huut, hut hai! Huut hut hai!"
Three viking longboats cleaved through the mist-filled waters, their battle cries echoeing through the fog. These longboats were indirectly supplied from the military. Sleek in design, and with custom made arrow notches. This was danger with two hundred rows, and one hundred viking warriors riding astride it.
"Huut, hut hai!"
Their target was a small monastary on the coast of the region known as the shadowed archipelago. Like all temples, it held gold, and a few monks that were sent to 'guard' it.
"Huut, hut hai!"
"Come on! Let's give these monks something to really be afraid of." The drummer shouted to the warriors. They roared and the longboats picked up speed. The monks inside were already fleeing. Some had stayed, armed only with meager swords to defend themselves.
The attack was swift, the gold was large in number. And the vikings were happy.
They would know all-too soon the repurcussions of this single battle.
