-OOC-
This has all been planned out by JJR and I. He authorized me to call damage given his laziness. (I'm no better, but I have more to gain from this. ^_^)

-The Minagoroshi Worldfleet

Ever restless and ever hungering for new resources and technologies, it was no surprise to find the Worldfleet on the move.

As always, ships patrolled the boarders of the lifeless "Dead Zone" the Worldfleet called its domain. Not a single planet in the area was capable of supporting life, given that Neo-Mekanta irradiated those that were or destroyed them while testing the superweapon that had taken it over. Minagoroshi was far from finished consuming many of the star systems in the Dead Zone, but even so patrols scouted its boarders and probed surrounding systems.

It was then that they found it...

OOC: Mekanta says I have to post. The bugger...
IC:
The small outpost, nicknamed the "Retirement Home" by the Navy, was finally getting some excitement. The Experimental Temporal Destroyer was sent here, out of the way, to do some test runs. It was equipped with level 10 temporal weapons and shields, along with various other, more conventional weapons. It blasted away at targets, unaware of the impending doom.

OOC: Yeah, I'm a lameass...

Hey, you want the plan to proceed too, y'know. It's the least you can do to post and keep the credibility of the plot up.

The Minagoroshi probe appeared without warning, scanners sweeping the system.

By the time the ship and outpost had learned something had entered the system, Minagoroshi already knew where they were and how large they were, in addition to the other basic contents of the system.

And by the time the ship could even move to react, the probe had apparently kamikazed against its reletively unprotected hull, ripping through what few defenses there were. The crew apparently thought nothing of it, unaware of what Minagoroshi was up to... Or what she was capable of.

In less than a minute, the probe had managed to impact against the hull of the strange ship, and by the time a decision was made to send a message back to the outpost's origin, more of Minagoroshi attacked as suddenly as the probe.

Only a distorted, garbled shout of surprise and fear made it out of the system before the swarm had disabled even communications between the outpost and ship. With the same brutal efficiency used to dismember the Mekantan Grand Armada and the Neo-Mekantan Worldfleet, Minagoroshi set upon her new victims quickly.

Fifteen minutes later, despite the feeble attempts to send a warning of escape the fate Minagoroshi had for them, the outpost and ship were gone. Thier materials, technology, data, and the minds of thier staff were all in the hands of Minagoroshi. She analyzed it carefully, methodically.

Jangle Jangle Ridge. A member of ESUS. Captain Mel Groomer. The Temporal Destroyer.

This last part gave Minagoroshi some pause. Temporal Technology?

Upon examination of her catch, Minagoroshi's avatar smiled to herself. It wasn't the wicked smile of her "father" or "brother" when they succeeded. But simply a smile of triumph. Level, by the classifications of the Temporal Accord, Ten Temporal Technology...

... Oh, she would enjoy this...
