The Grand Duchy of Apollina has been isolated for over 150 years; this policy came out of the Sack of Apollina in 1852 and has left our City State shut off and isolated, a decision taken by successive Grand Dukes. Now, the newly elected Grand Duke Kos has announced the end of the Era of Isolation and will begin to gradually open up Apollina to new diplomatic and economic channels.

One reason for this is our stalling economy, Apollina will gradually begin to privatise our iron and copper mines and also the metal works and foundries; this is open to any foreign and domestic bids. We also plan to gradually open up our textiles and pottery industries, which currently runs on a small trader basis. Apollina is looking to set up embassies in other nations and invites foreign powers to open channels and embassies in Apollina.

The Armed Republic of Juosh would like to open diplomatic relations with Appolina. We would like to start negotiations with a non-agression pact, that could later develop into a full economic or military alliance. We would like to have an embassy in your nation. We would allow you to have an embassy in the capital. Please reply ASAP.

The Federation of Winselle is interested in opening diplomatic and trade relations with Apollina. The government likes to build an embassy in the Apollinian capitol. A diplomatic and trade delegation will be sent right away once this message has been confirmed.
