Message from President Regonovich of the Free Republic of Kaznakia: "I thank all those nations that have offered to bring peace to this wonderful new nation in its infancy. The Kaznakian people want nothing more than peace and the right to start their own journey into a greater future...a future WITHOUT tyranny and Sovick dictation!!! I and the newly formed Assemblage of the Free Kaznakian People, all want PEACE!!! We hope that a nonviolent situation can develop in such a traumatic and hectic time for the Kaznakian nation!! But I must confess as the head of this government, I will continue to build the military and prepare it for possible war....We have to do this if we are going to show to the Sovick nation that we mean business when we say, “We want freedom and independence!!!"....
"We have been receiving information that large portions of the Sovick Peoples Army have been mobilized by order of Chairman Goric. My generals tell me that their spies have spotted tank divisions mobilizing about 10 miles right outside of our great new nation’s boarders...."....

Word from Chief Chairman Goric of the Peoples Republic of Sovick:
"I thank all those nations that have extended their hand of negotiation toward the current state of affairs. I would ask that people continue to try and help bring a peacefully end to the circumstances."
"But I must say, as the ruler of the Sovick nation, that I will NEVER...and I mean NEVER stand for a peace that recognizes the insubordinate territory of Kaznakia!!! I can not!!! For such a division will bring a schism throughout the whole Sovick nation that could, perhaps, DESTROY IT years to come!!! I as the leader will take WHATEVER action necessary to secure and protect this nation from liberal enthusiasts and rebel terrorists, which seem to be abundant in the Kaznakian section of the country. "
"But again....let me stress, that I, nor the rest of Sovick, want WAR. A peaceful settlement is much more desired. But, I can not ignore such an unlawful deed, without some military precautions. Thus, I have ordered about a third of the Sovick Peoples Army, to be prepared, if necessary, to exact quick and decisive blows to the hostile, rebellious region of Kaznakia. "
