I have created this thread just to get an idea of how much hatred, disdain, or even approval there is out there of me... feel free to post any and all opinions of me.

You'd be better if you didn't argue like a child in what were supposed to be RPs. Or if you didn't use stuff talked over AIM as if it were IC.

I gave you an 8. You're a generally nice guy and a good RPer. However I do think some of your tech is pushing the limits of believability.

Well, I can't say you've won or lost anything you've started, and you sometimes tend to try to prove your nation's worth in the wrong way. I could be absolutely wrong though, although I rarely am *sarcasm*

Eh, I've been in 10 wars... one a tie (Gorugathka, Neo-Mekantan War), one marginal victory, and eight losses...

And as for proving my nation's worth... um... it isn't really worth anything... mainly because I can't win a single derned war... and that's just about all my nation does...

Crossman, only one war thread I've started has turned into a flame fest. In fact, only two threads I've started have turned into flame fests. But, granted, I did engage in them... but certainly not to the extent of others.

Anyway, I think I have a pretty good idea about a few nations... as well as myself... But, I think it says something about me if I have the decency, grace, whatever you want to call it, to accept defeat. The nations I've gone up against usually haven't had that quality. OOC: It may have been false in the past, but right now that seems to be the pattern.

If you can't beat something through conventional means with relative realism (none of this 'you only have .04 nanoseconds to hit my ships before they retreat into ass space',) it's wanked. Therefore, your shields are wanked.

Mekanta could develop an anti-temporal shield/anti-wank weapon made of duct tape and a flashlight to defeat your shields, but why should he have to? If you need a technobabbel solution to a technology, it's wanked.

In addition, this talk of 'all but one of my systems is hidden' is rubbish. An interstellar society cannot survive without trade. Trade convoys are by their nature big and slow, so they can be easily tracked back to your other planets.

Who says our trade vessels originate from systems other than Normandeicht? As for the shielding thing, as I recall, the only battle I used that system was at Gorugathka, and alot of good it did me...

And for that matter, why would we need to trade, if our worlds produce everything we need? Metals, Crystals, food, etcetera, and, why would we trade with anyone other than our closest allies?
