ANN - Today, an official statement of the government of the Libertarian Kingdom of Allanea states a full restoration of Allanean death penalty, for the following crimes.

Violation of Civil Rights under colour of law – Anybody who violates, or, in an Allanean legislative assembly, proposes to violate any human rights, is subject to dolfinization or any other form of execution chosen by the executive branch.

Multiple Murder- anybody convicted of multiple murder of the first degree is subject to execution as chosen by the executive branch.

Harboring and Aiding Mirkanian Avians – given that Mirkanian Avians eat humans, and cannot, due to their genetic structure, avoid doing so. Thus, and until Mirkai grants the recognition of the basic natural rights of all mankind, including its human citizens, all Mirkaians are expelled from Allanea, and a $15,000 reward is offered to anybody who brings in the pelt, egg, or skull of a Mirkanian killed within the Greater Prussian Empire. Females bring $20,000. All Mirkaian Avians in Allanea have 24 hours to leave.

Repeat rape and pedophilia offenders – Revocation Of Rights. That is, the offender is released. Set free. The catch is, he is no longer legally human. His face goes on TV, and anybody who wants to can do whatever they want to him, and then sell his body for organ donations.

On Behalf of The Great Aerie Of Mirkai, As Spoken By His Honor Serian Draies: We of the Great Aerie regret Allanea's unfortunate decision to perpetuate violence against our people for what they are. However, we recognize that the Greater Prussian Empire has the right to do what it wishes within its own territory.

As such, the one Mirkanian citizen confirmed to be in Allanea has been withdrawn. He was assisting the Alleanean government with a project regarding a new form of execution. Since the Mirkanian in question is now a criminal in Allanean eyes, we expect all scientific contribution that was made by him to be destroyed.

Furthermore, no continued attempts to engage in trade or tourism with Allanea, Nova Texas, or The Greater Prussian Empire will be made, and we will cease offering travel options to the listed nations. Any Allanean or citizen of Greater Prussia requiring assistance within Mirkanian borders will not be denied, though we hold the right to retract this policy should any harm come of such a situation.

We will not pursue any aggressive action on the matter, though we do encourage any nation that is opposed to this policy to voice their discontent with Allanea's newly found indulgence in paid genocide.

Mirkai wishes both Allanea and the Greater Prussian Empire the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Also, in the interest of all considering allegiance with Allanea, we feel it is important to state that we were formerly considered by the Allaneans to be allies before they proclaimed us mortal enemies. Apparently, the sudden switch was in response to a discovery made regarding the Mirkanian Avian genetic composition, a discovery which was reached via gene research that was done with neither the consent nor knowledge of Mirkai.

Finally, His Honor would like to express extreme displeasure with the fact that Allanea's bounty also targets chicks of any age, and goes so far as to offer a raised rate to women, including the pregnant.

Anyway, I really appreciate the offer. We all do. But we're all quite happy here in Mirkai. Truthfully, this bounty doesn't affect us too badly, as the only Mirkanian present in Allanea at the time was a researcher, the services of whom never were paid for by the Allaneans.

We are worried, however, that it may raise hostility against our people. It's a dangerous trend, and personally, I'd rather we all got along. Not gonna happen with some people though, I guess.

If you do wanna help though, anything you could do to show Allanea the error of its ways would be vastly appreciated. Something non-violent would be great.

Goobergunchian Foreign Ministry Issues Statement On Allanean-Mirkanian Situation

Statement of Emil Farvus, Foreign Affairs Minister of the Liberal Unitary Republic

If any Mirkanians are now or are ever found in Allanean territory, we would have no objection to them using the Liberal Unitary Republic as a point of exit. Although we are not supportive of Mirkanian policies towards its resident humans, we find it ironic that Allanea mentions the "basic natural rights of all mankind" in the same breath as an item taking them away and also note that two wrongs do not make a right by any means. The Allanean position is arguably worse than the Mirkanian position, as Mirkanians only kill resident sentient beings, which while condemnable, is not genocide under the Crimes Against Sentient Beings Act, while Allanea seeks to exterminate all Mirkanian Avians, which is in our view genocide. This is a violation of Article Seven of the Crimes Against Sentient Beings Act, provided that the Gunchenjuris declares Mirkanian Avians sentient beings in accordance with Article One of that Act, and demonstrates that Allanea remains a rogue nation.

Mirkanian Avians ruled sentient beings

In an unsuprising ruling today, the Gunchenjuris found that the Mirkanian Avian is a sentient species by a thirty-five to seven margin.

The ruling essentially affirmed the Foreign Minister's previous comments on the matter, which supported the Gunchenjuris and Mirkanian positions. However, some criticized the move, saying it would harm the nation's already weak relations with Allanea.

The dissent in the case (In Re Draies, 213 G. 230) was by conservative Gunchenjuror Alacis, a frequent critic of the Sentient Beings law. He argued that the Mirkanian Avian's genetic tendency to eat human flesh automatically disqualified them from being a sentient being in the terms of the Act. However, a recent opinion survey by LBN shows that only 14% of Goobergunchians share his view.
