The Airplane compartments have been re-designed and they now house Medical supplies and facilities. Thy are capable of treating almost any battlefield injury, including Bio/Chem afflictions. It is however poorly defended, so never leave your Helena alone in the sea, as she is an easy target for enemy Surface Vessels. It can be equipt with a wide range of Helicopters to be used for transport of medical teams, or for the evacuation of injured soldiers form the battle lines.

Recently DAI delved into the research of Nuclear Powered Attack Submarines. The result of this study was an increased emphasis on deeper-diving, ultraquiet designs utilizing long-range sonar. Hull streamlining, reduction in sail dimensions by approximately 60%, quieting of the propulsion plant and an increase in test depth all led to a dramatic advance in submarine operational capabilities and stealth.
