Associated Press: USSNSR Navy To Pull Aging Carriers And Other Vessels From Combat Duty

Havana, Cuba, USSNSR (AP) -- In a continuous shift of military structure, it seems even the USSNSR's Red Navy is reforming itself. With this reforming, expansion, and updating, questions have arisen as to what is to happen to a number of vessels long serving the USSNSR, inparticular a trio of Nimitz class carriers. The questions seemingly have been answered.
Releases from the Red Navy seem to indicate that the trio of carriers, along with a handful of other ships will be used for one purpose or another. Talk has it the three Nimitzes will be converted to vessels for training and wargames as will six Seawolf Class Attack Submarines. Question still hangs for other ships though such as a number of Arleigh Burke, Spruance, and Kidd class destroyers.
Word has it that the ships of these three seperate classes, a total of eight vessels, will possibly be donated to small nations as gifts, used for training, take on the task of being targets and/or being gutted and scuttled to act as artificial reefs. As of now though, unfortunatly, nothing is official.
