~Newssheet~

Today, the Free Lands of Tiamat Taveril have begun construction of an orbital space platform over the planet Tarrator. The platform is the first major space project of this nation, being a young nation. The platform's base structure is to made of ten sections, each estimated at $5 billion and each taking a year to construct and position. Construction on buildings on the platform will begin after the base structure is completed.

All nations with interest in the as-yet uncolonized world of Terrator or the space platform in orbit are encouraged to contact Tiamat Taveril with questions.

This is thanks to the nation of Hogsweat, kind enough to provide $850 billion as a donation to this project.

Base structure: 1/10 Other: Unplanned.

OOC: I assume you're future-tech. Do you have any overall stats/pictures/whatever for the station?

To: the Free Lands of Tiamat Taveril
From: Third Colonial Prefecture
Subject: Orbital platform

The Third Colonial Prefecture offers to fund a portion of this platform, provided that the Free Lands of Tiamat Taveril provide a more detailed overview of the plans for the said platform. We also request a more detailed overview of the planet, including whether or not the said planet has a tangible magnetic field.

Sincerely,
Office of Interspacial Affairs

She misspelled the name.

Terrator is a minor Earth-like planet outside of charted space. It is about the same size as Mars, The planet lacks a centralized magnetic field, forcing us to go back to the old landmark system for navigation. Compasses and other magnetic detection equipment indicate multiple magnetic centers across the planet. The planet is post-pangaeac, currently having two continents (one large and one small).

The platform is going to be a primary base of operations. It will be a construction platform and base of navigation computers.

what year do you roleplay from and how far in lightyears away from Sol is this Terrator?

Uh, I don't use Earth's timeline. The timeline I use has it at something like 3573 right now. I would guess about 2020-2030 in Earth's timeline, maybe a decade off in that estimate. And I'm about 25 FTL jumps from Sol using my slowest ship and another, so I'm about 1141 light years away from Earth and that planet is 1871.24 light years away. Of course, it depends on which Sol, as I was using the closest.
