The Galactic Empire

An alliance of true vision and greatness, an alliance not afraid to take what it wants nor afraid to do what it wants. An alliance which has no fear of repercussions. An alliance that has true dreams. The Galactic Empire is an alliance concocted from the minds of Unified Sith, Fruity Loops, Chronasia and other assorted nations. We are all proud to offer this truly democratic organisation.

The Galactic Empire is envisioned to last and survive no matter the turmoil’s of internal or external strife. Based upon the governmental regime of the Galactic Senate with a few twists to make being a member of the alliance as fun as Nationstates itself the senate will offer a truly different aspect to the game.

Each member state will put forward a senator, who will vote and debate on behalf of their nation within the alliance itself. Laws will be passed and enforced in all member states, while the internal politics being as adept and challenging as International Incidents itself will drive every members lust for power, having the tantalising goal of becoming the supreme chancellor an very close probability for any member.

Defence and expansion will be a major priority for the alliance. With the recent surrender of Coreowrlds and the destruction of the Weyr fleet the morale of the combined forces of each member state is already soaring. Large joint projects have already begun within allied command, including the design and construction of a new Inter stellar fleet capable of insuring the safety of almost every member.

Joining is easy. Each nation can post a request here and then if found that you are suitable for the alliance you will be allowed to join. Following entrance a link to the Senate forums will be provided where you can register and then debate on issues that affect your nations sovereignty.

Just for clarification -- Weyr still has a fleet. The difference is that its remaining fleet is completely privatized, and owned by large corporations and mercenary freecorps. Depending on how the stuff between Storm and Vader goes, Weyr might simply decide that it's wasted a lot of resources against a phantom threat and withdraw from the conflict.

We look upon this alliance with, if nothing else, exasperation. There are already too many conflicting alliances. We suggest instead joined one of the other many alliances. The sad truth is that most small alliances attack larger, older ones, and end up mucking things up for all nations involved.

OOC Ok, here it is. The Senario is a conflit between two system lords. For info on all tech, go Here (http://www.stargate-tech.net/)

IC Athena Walked slowly down the deck of Her Ha'Tak Mother Ship as the Deck Swarmed with Kul warriors. Besides her own, there where three other of the great ships, and about a Hundred Al'Kesh Ships. She looked at the opposing forces, who had twice her number, but lacked the Kul Technology. SHe looked at one of the Kul crew, and spoke, it seemed, with two voices at once.

"Send orders to the Other ships, tell them to get into Formation, then Send out the Deth Gliders. Once the Gliders are ready, attack."
"Yes Mistress" Said the Kul she ordered.

On the Underside of the Ships, a large spiral door opened, and 200 Death gliders fell out of each. 100 gliders protected each of the Mother ships, leaving 400 to move with the Al'Kesh frigates. The gliders, just out of their hangers, had very little time to react to the Other fleetsd attack. The Shots came hard, reducing the sheild of The THird mother ship to nothing. On Deck, Athena screamed orders, and her own ship returned fired, along side the shots the gliders and Al'Kesh ships flew to head the Other ships off. When There shots hit, they did half the damage, not even destroing a sheild. The Gliders moved forwards, and fired their staff weapons at the Goauld Ships. They did an impression, before the Other gliders came in and the battle began.

On the bridge, Athena was watching the battle with her nerves racked high. She was ment to be the first to attack. She calmed herself, things could still go to plan, She just had to send the next shot at the Enemy command ship. She relaied her request to the crew, and they sent out the orders to the rest of the ships. As they did, the ships that had lost sheilds fell apart in a ball of fire. Athena swore, just as her own shots ripped into the Command vessle of the other fleet.

The Al'Kesh spread out, and flew towards the Command ship. Many where shot down, but the rest flew in low and let go of their bombs, and as they did the Athinain Salvo cut through the remaining sheilds like they where paper. The Bombers attacked with all they could, but they would need to make a second pass before the ship would be destroied.

Back on the bridge, Athena held her shock of the Sheilds falling on the first attack to herself. She gave new orders, and the Glider guards shot up towards the ship. As soon as the weapons had recharged, Her fleet fired the last salvo, witch smashed through the damaged command ship with ease. Athena Smiled, now his forces where hers, thus increasing her power in the High Council.

Prospective members to this alliance should be aware that Unified Sith's player initiated the Shivan war against the ESUS, and has hinted that he plans on waging war upon them once more in the not too distant future.

He's also ignoring most ESUS members for no justifyible reason that I can figure, probally until he's ready to war with them again; otherwise I would be in the process of liberating Coreworlds, along with several other nations.

Now, this might sound like I'm bashing his alliance; I'm not. I'm simply informing prospective members as to questionible practices by said alliance's defacto leader, and that they'll be throwing in with a group that has some very powerful enemies.

Wouldn't it depend on how you view it? CoreWorlds planets are part of Unified Sith, whether or not they like it. CoreWorlds characters are generally -not- part of the Sith and are quite against the Empire.

I wouldn't pur CoreWorlds as strictly part of the Empire, since they're an occupied territory, not a willing member. Eh...just my two Weyrs.....

An IC reason ehh. Perhaps the Balroggians would wish to join the Empire for simple military protection and advancement. The Empire assists all of its members and is serious about defending its members shown by the current invasion of Weyr who unjustly attacked Unified Sith. The Empire in this case is acting out of self defence.

Looking over the Nation's you've amassed over these few days, I am quite impressed, and I can see this alliance flourishing. Also, your goals are the exact same as ours, which compelled me to send this transmission more so.

Even as I speak, we are re-activating the 1st through 10th fleets. Why? Because the moment you allow us in the alliance, we're going to be launching our eight fleets into the fray. But of course, what happened to the other two fleets? Well, the 1st fleet & 2nd fleet are going to be sent to Endor. This is our goodwill offering Emperor.

Our first fleet will stop at Endor, get supplied, and then go to the Weyr homeworld to resupply your forces, and help in the invasion. Meanwhile, our second fleet - which I command - will stay on station at Endor. Why? Because we know of an impending attack on Endor, and we know that the GTVA Colossus (our 40KM+ Juggernaut that took down the Lucifer in the Shivan Invasion), along with the fleet, will be perfect for the defense of Endor.

Am I? Let me put it this way. the Chronosian Imperium entered freely into alliance with Unified Sith. We were not forced into it; we did not have a fleet or a Death Star on our doorstep. We entered into this freely; supporting the Sith fleets in their war against Coreworlds and actively taking part in the invasions of Weyr and Wick. The Chronosian Imperium has undertaken missions that have no relevance to US, were not check by US or approved by him. It is its own autonomus entity.

I have decided, after my last conversation with Unified Sith, that I will be leaving GE as of this moment. Unified Sith/Imperial Brits obviously doesn't want me around, and so I won't provoke his uber forces *does a sarcastic crappy impression of being scared*, and just leave. By the time you'll have read this, he'll have labelled me a traitor and IGNORED me. But it was nice being around.
