And here are our top stories.

A law that was passed one week ago went into effect today. The law prohibited pornography and strip clubs. All porn stars and dancers were told 1 week ago they had 7 days to quit these jobs and for the owners of the clubs to shut down or face legal action. King Jedo said Today “This will make for a much more pure Moronyicka without this scum. Too many minors are able to easily access porn over the internet. To those who oppose it I say THINK OF THE CHILDREN!” The law was passed 8-3.

We will bring you more news about this as it happens.

We would be willing give 'sanctuary' to such persons, as who wish to work in such industries in the Guilds.

Regards,

OOC: Matter of fact, we would just put them in the houses of ill-repute, where our citizens could ply them to their hearts content.

And here is our top story.

Today Moronyicka SWAT teams raided 30 Strip Clubs across the country. They arrested a total of 95 illegal dancers and 28 club owners. They also arrested 13 known adult film stars. There is no word yet on what these people will be sentenced to.

Today following more raids, a sentencing has been announced. All adult film stars and dancers mest serve a 6 year prison term. All club owners and porn directors/photographers will get 10 years.

When asked what she thought of the sentencing exotic dancer Jamie Hoover started to tear up and said. "This is not fair. The prison guards treat us terribly. I can't go through this for 6 years"

Other "dancers" agree with here.

There are 45 "stars and dancers" that claim the are repeatedly raped by there prison guards daily, but the Moronyicka government says they have no plans to investigate that case.

Democratic Colonies

The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies is extremely concerned about the conditions that currently imprisoned persons are experiencing. The Colonial Government has reason to believe that sexual abuse, amoung other breaches of humanitarian protocol, are common in the prisons where recently arrested stars and dancers of the adult entertainment industry are being held. The Colonial Government proposes that unarmed inspection teams be allowed to view the conditions in which prisoners are being kept, and urges the Government of Moronyicka to conduct its own investigation into reports of abuse.

The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies is fully capable of protecting its inspection personel from any fighting that might be occuring as a result of your nation being in a state of war. Colonial Navy Battlegroup 3.1 is currently in the general region of your nation conducting anti-piracy operations, and the Colonial Government would gladly move it closer in order to secure the safety of protected inspection teams if need be. The Democratic Colonies repeats its request to allow inspection teams to examine the conditions inwhich your prisioners are being held, and inquires as to why you are currently in a state of war.
