GIN Newsbreak
“Good evening, loyal citizens of the Empire. Early this morning several hundred protestors gathered in Alexei square to slander the noble deeds of our troops currently fighting to bring the rogue province of Buchiana back into the Empire. As you are aware, the Imperial hammer has had great success in their campaign to put down the traitorous secession, suffering minimal losses while inflicting heavy casualties among the Buchianan armed forces. We go now live to Alexei square and our on seen reporter Mikhail Greghov.”
A reporter stands behind a line of riot police. In the square protestors demonstrate peacefully, holding signs and chanting slogans in Generian such as “human rights now” or “end the brutality”.
“Thank you Maria. As you can see, it is truly a terrible sight to behold these vile traitors. They have been here nearly all day, shouting obscenities at the riot police and making disgusting, evil remarks against the Imperial government. If only the troops knew the response to their valiant efforts.”
The scene returns to the newsroom.
“Truly a vicious crowd. As of now, there has been no significant response from the Imperial government to break up these demonstrations, but let us hope that they do something soon. For the finest government-approved news, tune into GIN for updates.
