THE D-15 STORMFORCE
History
Porosz Corporation has realized its lack of emphasis on the rugged, but relatively lighter types of main battle tanks. Porosz has dedicated its resources to designing and manufacturing heavy (MBTs), as well as Ultra-Heavy (UMBTs) tracked vehicles ever since its creation.
After the GMB DoD ordered Porosz to produce of a light, powerful, and easily deployable tank, Porosz was forced to alter its original plans, and the design team finally settled on what was dubbed the D-15 MBT, commonly referred to as the StormForce.
The Stormforce is a more powerful, more reliable, and definately more practical tank than the current variation that serves as the backbone of the GMB Army, the D-11 Apocalypse. Although it has undergone several refurbisments, the D-11 Apocalypse has several serious defects, notable of which are its immense weight, as well as its inadequate 125mm main guns that are seriously outdated.
The D-15 MBT will soon phase out the Apocalypse tank as the army's Main Battle Tank. In twelve years's time, the D-11 Apocalypse shall retire, and the D-15 will become the Army's main tank.
