Seeking to take advantage of distractions elsewhere (namely the KKK rally), the Global Islamic Army had quietly inserted agents into D.A. territories one at a time. They were the fighters of the Raven, the lethal international terrorist responsible for the chemical attack attempt on the IDF and a variety of other incidents. Although he had no particular grudge with D.A., he DID see an opportunity to acquire deadly weapons. He would now take that opportunity.

The GIA had, over the course of the night surrounded the DA complex and the precious biological weapons therein. There were appoximately 55 of the terrorists, all armed with various odds and ends, AK-47s to MP5s and even handguns.
The first difficulty lay in getting over the wall of the complex. They couldn't climb it...razor wire at the top would make that a dicey proposition at best, and they would be sitting ducks for the guards. It was Wahib, the Raven's right hand man and the commander of the op, who devised a solution. At precisely 4:00 in the morning, a suicide bomber driving a car packed with explosives roared up to the front gate, crashed into it, and detonated himself. The blast was sufficient to knock the terrorists off their feet, the gate down, and a substantial part of the wall besides. Picking himself up, Wahib screamed, "FOR ALLAH!", a call taken up by his compatriots as they charged the flaming portal. Gunfire and screams pierced the night. The fighter on Wahib's right caught a bullet with his throat. The terrorist leader fired from the hip, spent brass raining down around him. The infidel DA guards quailed before his wrath. When he looked back, he saw that many of his men had been killed. It did not deter him in the slightest. He sprinted down the halls of the facility, stopping only to paint the walls arterial red with a burst from his assault rifle as a guard attempted to stop him.
He reached the storage room.
The GIA did not want the weapons themselves, only the cultures of the biological contagions here. They could build their own weapons. He waved his expert, a former student on biological science, forward. "IG virus and anthrax first, then everything else!" he barked in Arabic, then set to work on one of the chemical devices.
The operation only took twenty minutes as the terrorists reaped their cultures and stored them in a bullet-proof, insulated box for transit back to their bases in North Arkady. There were only 10 of them left alive, including Wahib. They then departed, leaving behind a calling card...a chem-bomb ticking slowly away to detonation in the heart of the DA base. The first responders were going to get an ugly surprise....
