if you have the technology to move the populastion of an entire civilisation to a different GALAXY why don't you just create a new sun???

us mere mortals cannot even get to our nearest neighbouring planet with any great consistency.... If you can command the power and technology required for inter galactic travel... building a Sun would be childs play
( increase the mass of a gas giant until it collapse into a nuclear furnace state i.e. a sun )

I suppose you could use some sort of gravity weapon and make 2 gas giants collide with each other-in theory that would create a sun.

Besides, after a sun dies theres still a few million years of heat comming off the thing... if your planet was far away enough, you could stay there.

I would like to help but since your nation attacked me I cannot help. I will suggest setting your destination a bit closer than another galaxy. The energy expendature would be inthinkable.

Just shift your population to one of your colony worlds. Use a gravity weapon or twelve on the reminants of your sun to recompress it to a fusionable state. Infuse it with Neutronium. Open a worm hole between another sun in an inhospitable system.

He is trying to increase the gravity of his sun to pull in the collapsed matter and cause the recombustion of the fission material. It might work or it might not be enough. He should find a way to replace the material that was ejected from the core. The suggestion of using a gas giant might need to be considered.

The main variable is the nature of his gravity weapons since I have not seen any details posted on them anywhere. Either it would help or it will make matters worse. If he modeled his after the ones I created and he saw me use in another thread, then I would have an answer for you but not until I know his version.

OOC: How do your gravity weapons work? Depending upon your answer, you might have just killed your sun. Like I said in a previous post, the way tour weapons work would determine the success of your actions.

Um .... if he is trying to restart his sun by firing grav weapons into it, whoudn't that mean he is still insystem?

The logic seems to stand. Perhaps he evacuated his world in case the attempt wasn't effective and wanted his people at a safe distance in case the sun blackholes, which it might if he used the wrong type of grav weapon.

That is why I am asking what his basis for the weapon is. Either it condensed it or ate it.

The sun would be sucked into multiple black holes.

My weapons create black holes through singularity generation. They would destroy your sun. Matter sucked into a black hole goes .... somewhere else.

You would stare in horror as the black spots from the weapons would eat into your sun until it became too onstable and... well you get the picture.
