The Principality of Urbh Yueh is interested in purchasing two diesel-electric submarine. We are looking for a Juliett class submarine, without weaponry. We would like to conver the submarine into a testing vehicle for the oceanic environment, particularly currents, temperature, and patterns of shift. When new they cost $300M. Combat damage is not accepted. We simply want some submarines that are going to be retired or have been retired and are willing to give you money to take them off your hands.

According to ThirdGeek we have $854,332,290.66 to spend on defense. Click here (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=Urbh+Yueh) for full details.

Thank you very much...

I can sell you two Halibut SSN-587 nuclear boats. In RL the USS Halibut was modified for spy missions and studying the deep ocean depths so it is fit for this mission. (The Halibut found the Soviet Golf that was later raised by the Glomar Explorer.)

They come at $275 million each new.

Thanks but no I really need the Juliett class because they are perfect for the needs. They have adequate space and the way the SSM racks open up are perfect for probes and so on and so fourth.

I still don't get why you want two antique diesel submarines...

I still don't get why you want two antique diesel submarines...

Well two reasons. First there specifications match what I need for an oceanographic vessel. Secondly, the way the SSM racks open up will be perfect for deployment of undersea research items and divers to study important variables in need of human measuring. Thirdly, they are cheap. Fourthly, I don't want anything nuclear as this is for environmental purposes. And lastly, I like the way they look.

I said earlier I want diesel electric with the SSM popups from the Juliett because I want to use them for oceanographic purposes. The way these SSM popups are make it excellent for sensors and diver pods.

That makes some sense, although it would be easier to deploy them straight through torpedo tubes or ejection racks as I do, but that's what you get with a more expensive boat.
