UFGZ to Construct Bismarck Class for ECF

Germanische Zustande

After nearly 60 years of war, the Federal Economy has collapsed into depression. Nearly 70% of the population of the UFGZ is out of work, the Federal Government is on the brink of collapse, and the military plots secretively to overthrow the "warmongers".

Our allies, the East Coast Federation, have placed an order for one Bismarck Class Battleship, to be due in 15 years. The Chancellor hopes that this inter-planetary construction effort will revitalize the Federal Economy, and pave the way to a "Golden Era" of the Federation.

Construction will begin immediately at the Federal Fleet Yards above Normandeicht. Certain aspects of the ship will be modified to suit the specifications of the ECF StarFleet, such as the bridge.

Other critical systems, such as advanced UFGZ AI and automation technologies will be excluded from construction, as well as certain Temporal Technologies. However, at the request of ECF, we shall install Level 3 Temporal Shielding, along with numerous Level 3 Temporal Erasure Cannons.

The ECF has already made a down-payment of 15 trillion towards the final construction price of 100 trillion.

Construction shall begin immediately.

(Note: ECF and I have formed a secret (OOC) Temporal Research Alliance, which has been approved by Indra. We shall research new temporal levels 3/4ths as fast, and so on and so on, until we are at the same level, when we will research twice as fast.)

ooc: Yes, there will be RPing of the construction. I have a few things planned... *evil grin*

12 Trillion Dollars have been wired as a downpayment on the ship. As the ship progresses more money will be paid. The ship is still unnamed.
Why are we doing this?
Because are current flagship is falling apart.
Instead of waiting for the new quantum weapons to reach their prime. We are purchasing this ship. For some massive firepower. 4 Years from now I will send 400 of the ECF's best gay dudes to desing the internior so it matchs ECF Starship interinors as much as possible.

12 trillion Wired, don't blow it all in one place.

OOC: Do you have general specs for the ship yet? If so, can we see them OOCly?

ooc: Yes, just let me edit them for ECF's special one...

Oh, and, ECF, in four years, there'll only be a few miles of ship for them to design... we'll only be about 22% done...

OOC: Whoopdey Frickety Hoo! I have Teh Uberz0rs Temporal Tech. Like, Level 18 at this point. Of course, I hardly ever use any of it. Well, if this ship gets near me, it goes poof.

It's a ship named after a sunken battleship. This one goes vroom vroom through the sky sky.

OOC:It's a class of ship they're talking about here. Not the actual Bismarck, which was sunk by the British after putting up one heck of a fight by the way. And it's Futuretech, so what's your point?

OOC: uhh JJR it's not possible to be higher than indra prime when it comes to temporal tech, and he's only level 17

I know their will only be a few miles of ship to work with. But it will take them that long because I am really trying to nail the look and feel of the Excelsior Class ships in the fleet, crews generally give out good ratings for comfort and feel of those ships.

The main reason I made this descion is that our current flagship is old outdated and starting to fall apart. It is going to get a 20 year refit once this ship is paid off.

Have you resolved the exploding console problem, the lack of redundant backup systems, and the obsessive use of crawl tubes as only means of accessing vital ship components? We've found that crews would mutiny when presented with traditional Federation-type vessels, and although they did like the nice aesthetics, they preferred a design where a console power overload was not a fatal incident.

Though I am a Federation, I do not use StarTrek tech, other than the primitive Matter/Antimatter cores for extra power and huge weapons...

Our ships do have triple (and sometimes quadruple) redundant systems, our consoles do not explode unless a warship rams nine miles deep into the heart of the ship due to massive failures of the shielding and armor systems.

But, our ships have been much-revised since that fateful battle...

However we are a traditional Federation-type starfleet and do reqest that interior be modled after the ECF Exclesior images and Blue Prints for the interior are being sent.
Exploding Consoles are pretty funny though.

Leading causes of death among Federation citizens, split into categories:

Civilians:

- Starship accidents, settling on a world too close to the Klingon/UFP border, suicide

Military:

Red Shirts: Being sent with the bridge crew of the Enterprise on an away team, encountering strange energy fields that no one in the entire galaxy has encountered before, being in the wrong place when a random Klingon transports onto the ships...

...and the number one cause of red shirt death: Complete lack of fuses on all Federation Starships

OOC: Most of that is true except for one part. Last time I checked my MOST advanced Temporal Ship, one that has yet to be unveiled is a monumental level 15, the highest in NS. Well, the highest in NS without totally wanking the numbers *cough*hyperpower*cough**cough*. Buuuuuut anyway, please refresh my memory as to when I said anything about your Temporal Research Agency? To answer any questions about nations who supposedly have higher Temporal Research than we do because they started it before I did, that is simply not the case. I clearly remember browsing and searching the forums for ANY mention of Temporal Research on the part of any nation, and found there was none. So when I began the research, I was the first, and only nation researching that technology for a period of about eight months. Oh and btw, I personally developed the level rating system for Temporal Tech, so those nations who claim to posess level 260385092 Temp Tech should just be ignored. Because as it currently stands, the Level Rating Scale's highest Level is that which is being used by Indra Prime. I have made the scale extremely simple, and I would like to believe, idiot proof. Though I have been proven wrong in that last part. That is my little shpiel, take it for what its worth.

OOC: Rember we agreed to on in that AIM chatroom with the GZ, I can catch up to GZ in about 2 RL months then we can both go at 2 levels a month.
Anyway what you said summed up what I said to TFU and he said " I can have whatever I want I'm 2 bill!"

Normandeicht's yellow sun glinted off the silvery frame of the great behemoth. Hundreds of thousands of craft orbited the enourmous construction bay, positioning bulkheads, deckplates, enourmous Anti-Matter cannons...

Millions of bright orange beams swept across the entirity of the enourmous framework, positioning atoms with such accuracy as had never before been seen in the Federation.

All throughout the Federation, worlds worked as one to fabricate the materials for the great Battleship. Hundreds of transports continually ferried the essence of the wonderous vessel to the Normandeicht system. Already a cloud of parts sat motionless, a few kilometers from the Federal Shipyards.

Over three long years had already passed, and slowly, the greatest construction effort of the generation took form. The giant sharpened prow glared defiantly toward the areas of former, glorious battles in the system. The graceful, swept back propulsion wings glistened with silvery greatness.

Sadly, however, this magnificent ship, the third of its kind, was not destined for service in the Federal Fleet. The Nation new this, and lamented. They knew their task was the sole element saving the Federation, but most certainly did not agree with building the greatest of all Federal Ship classes for even a close ally.

Pressure built between the people, and their government, which suddenly shone with a new light...

" 3 Years into this project lets take a look at what they've got for us so far, helm drop out to to impluse" Captian Wells told the Helm Officer. " Dropping out of Warp in 3,2,1" * The Entire Ship shuddered violently as a mild subspace shockwave speard out from the warp nachells" " I hope you can fix that" The Capain yelled. " Sorry sir we are still having problems resovling the massive bleed for the warp engines, this is why we shouldn't be using warp drive anymore, once you get one this powerful you'll start to get problems"
The New Entererprise was so new you could smell the freash paint and the "new car" smell that new ships emitted." She was the fastest, newest, most powerful ship in the ECF Fleet. It had the latest weapons and power systems.

Yet it looked tiny compared to the New ship being buit for the ECF

Captain Wells to Shipyard: Greetings we wish to see what you guys have done so far. You will also receive the next installment of 10 Trillion. Also could you scan our warpdrive? Everytime we disengage the Nachells emmit a masive amount of subspace energy. It damages small vessels, could you take a look at it? ALso the pictures for what the interiot should look like is being sent.

We have received word from ECF that production is to be rushed. Crews are being gathered from around the Federation, and an additional 200 million construction workers are being gathered from around the Federation. The ECF has also dispatched a fleet of transports of workers to the Normandeicht system.

At latest word, we have been ordered to rush production nine years. It will be finished in one year, for an added bonus of 20 trillion from the ECF.

All the Federation's resources will be devoted to completion of this project. The ESUS war will have to wait.
