A space station, measuring nearly 15km from one side to the the other, (note that the station is a ring), 2 km wide tube, and 2 Km broad is being built in the Ethera system.
The inner part of the ring will function as a huge WarpGate, providing near instantaneous travel from wherever another nation wishes to build a corresponding one.
The station is going to be named Providence and Light, and will have 3/5s of it for sale to foreign nations, presumably to store goods in, to provide quarters, and to house diplomats and the like.
Each compartment will be 200 cubical metres, and cost $850 000 NSD. 240 such compartments are being sold.
The station will be fitted with defensive weapons, 15 interceptor bays, 5 frigate/warship bays and sensitive scanners.

The station will take 15 NS years/RL days to construct without any help from other nations.
Also, buying a part of this station guarantees your merchants trade with 7 clans of the Solarais, and the huge amount of excess foodstuffs they are in possession of. (Solaraisi are light-based beings, and don't eat. When they find worlds with viable food sources, they get their human clones to eat some, and see how pleasing it is. They then store the foods in offworld storehouses. The Solaraisi have some seventy billion tons of food stored offworld, produced in a mere 7 years.Storing offworld is simply burying in moons and the like, so about 7% of the food may not be digestible. However, this excess will be removed before sales begin)
Also, the StarGate is already operational to some small extent, and could probably admit 1 or two ships every NS hour. The first buyer of any space will be reserved an area on Lumin (Ethera IV's 8th moon) until the station area is complete. Any teams sent to speed up the construction will be greatly appreciated.
