The streets of the capital city of Corva were packed with spectators, all of whom who hoped to catch a glimpse of their glorious Emperor, His Imperial Majesty, Alexander II, by grace of God, Emperor of all Tharra and its colonies, Supreme Head of the Anglican Faith; who was to wed his second wife, as his first had just recently died giving birth to a stillborn child.

A deafing roar of "Long Live the Empress!" arose as the parade of Her Imperial Highness, Princess Anne of the Scandinvans, rode by. The princess wore a gown of palid velvet, trimmed in silver, with a matching veil of white silk. Many noticed the fact that the princess, or what could be seen of her through the golden coach's window, was wearing several magnificent jewels in the imperial collection.

Next passed by the mounted delegates of the princess's homeland, international ambassadores, and the all of the newly selected Ladies-in-waiting and Ladies of the Chamber. This procession was followed by that of the Empress-Mother, and the Peers of the Realm.

Finally the emperor's own gilded state coach passed by, and he could be seen; dressed in a naval captain's uniform, wearing every national order of chivalry, and an added mantel of estate. The cries of "God save the emperor!" towards the populare monarch were earth shattering.

The imperial parade finally arrived at the Grand Cathedral zu Corva. There the imperial couple, and thousands of dignataries, entered the building. Soon, the emperor was at the altar, and the bridal procession made its way down the aisle. What followed was a blessing by the archbishop of Corva, followed by a sombre ceremony conducted by the same bishop. Finally, the ceremony ended and a Te Deum was said.

This done, the couple made their way to the Hall of State (a center of government, after the palace) via a state coach of imperial black and silver, drawn by a team of 18 horses. There, a short civil ceremony was celebrated, by the Arch Chancellor of the Empire, and a few imperial guests. Finally, the two appeard on the balcony of the Hall, met by hundreds of thousands of cheers.

And it was proclaimed by the Heralds-at-arms: "look now upon your blessed emperor, and his new bride! I PRESENT UNTO ALL OF YOU: HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY EMPEROR ALEXANDER II, AND HER IMPERIAL MAJESTY ANNE, THE EMPRESS CONSORT!!!

Later, a wedding feast was celebrated and the two retired to their quarters in the Imperial Palace of Corva.
